  1. I think the fact that you use IE is more fail than the [developmentally delayed]ation of the RSOF. 8-)
  2. PostPosted: Thu Jan 05, 2006 4:02 pm :wall: #-o
  3. This is the real world, with real people getting paid for their jobs. If F2P got more updates, Jagex would have to lay off a few workers because they would lose money to P2P'ers switching to F2P. In any way, you can't go to Walmart and expect them to hand over merchandise for free. You have to pay to receive an item. It's the same to go for runescape.
  4. When I play, I play by myself. When I GWD, I massacre so I don't have to deal with other people. When I buy stuff I use the GE. When someone starts to talk to me, I ignore them. Been doing that for the passed 6 or 7 years.
  5. Man, I get high the old fasioned way, not on RS. Lol, I think that's the first time I have laughed at something someone said on TIF.
  6. People get more xp to boost their ego. They are nobody in the outside world, but once they've typed in their Username and Pass they are Gods. They stop at nothing to make themselves feel better. Their puny arms and weak fingers, as they type 'NOOB' and 'WTF' on their keyboard, slap a sense of otherworldness to the surrounding electronic Avatars. They use pixels as a sort of drug; it gets them high, and makes them feel important.
  7. Please, no more new Spell Books! Just combine the ones we have now into a single book. The inaccessibility of the other two books are the only reason people don't use them practically.
  8. All i need is a 3a plate drop...and ima do the same thing to 99 mage!! thanks...this will be really really helpful in the future!!  \ \ Well at least it's not a program that can steal your password. Plus this proves you can auto by using crap that's around your Dad's garage. But the real question is: What if the tif mods saw this? Wow...who is that dumb that they can't find an AutoClicker...It's as easy as a google search, and you will have saved yourself a mouse and an electricity bill.
  9. Mods have certain codes they can type in. ::tele ::teleto ::teletome. Those are just examples, so they may not be right. They can also spawn items, ::item (itemID). Each item, npc, and anything examinable has an ID. Coins are usually item 10. And it wouldn't be as great as you think it is. Just because you can have any item at any time doesn't mean its a good thing. The time it takes saving money to buy a blue party hat is the main part of having a party hat. It tells people when you wear it, 'I'm rich' and it took me a while to get this. If you can just spawn something, there would be no accomplishment. Which is why Jmods use their primary accounts, rather than mod accounts.
  10. Why would you drop something for a party? That's like going to your birthday party and handing out gifts. The point of most 99 skills is so that you can make money, faster (construction doesn't count). Why would you give away all the money you made? To make people think you are cool?
  11. I hate 99 parties. Such a waste of your time. Who cares if someone gets 99 in a skill, it isn't really that important. I've had 5 99 skills, and all of them without a party. The fourth one, I got in edgevill without telling a single person (the guy that walked by me freaked out because of the fireworks).
  12. Haha, the entire glitch with bearded women was a scream in general. It wasn't really a glitch. Just packet manipulation using a different client than the one Jagex gave you.
  13. I think this guy has the right idea. It's most likely because in order to make Mechscape more mature, they have to lighten the censor for both games.
  14. In order to do Noclip you would have to use a modified client. Which most likely means the person would be banned pretty fast because they are sending packets server side instead of client side. And jagex looks for that stuff...
  15. [/hide] Every random is random, so there isn't really a rarity. Altough I haven't seen a lot of randoms while farming anyways. Randoms aren't always random. It seems that there is a higher chance of getting a random event doing a certain thing. Kind of like how when cooking you will get a ton of strange plant/frogs, while doing other things you wouldn't get them as much.
  16. You probably use guides for all your quests. I did that too until I did While Guthix Sleeps on the first day it came out without a guide. It was the most fun I had in RS in years. Try a quest one time without a guide, and solve the puzzles on your own. I've done plenty of quests without a guide. They still suck. I never used a single guide in rsc, and those were the days when quests were actually semi-decent. If they are going to make a joke, make it funny. Though, half of what you read in a quest is someone saying something that isn't funny at all, although it is meant to be. I'd much rather the person get straight to the point and tell me what to do. Not five minutes of talking about how his father is dead and his mother is in prison and oh hey why is six afraid of seven, then oh yeah, could you help me out with collecting this item because I am way too lazy to get it myself. Could you just get me a piece of rope, even though the general store is 1 minute away and easy to get to, could you just please get me some rope, I need some rope to tie this raft up. Yeah, I'm too lazy to get the rope, could you get me some rope, "adventurer". Why do I collect items for people when they could easily get the items themselves?!?! Seriously...
  17. But Quick Chat wasn't even out yet...
  18. I tend to try and ignore any skill that gets less than 100k xp an hour. Seriously, some of these skills take a crazy amount of time to train. I ignore the RSOF. When I go on there I am always tempted to tell off some 5 year old kid. I ignore most Jmods, and their use of not controlling situations. They always try to please the community instead of just telling these little kids to STFU and GTFO if they don't like it. I ignore team-work. The most team work I've used is at a Bandos Massacre that ended up a duo. At that point I just teled away and let the guy fight them solo. I ignore people in general. They talk too much. I ignore quests. Slapping a good reward on a piece of crap doesn't change the fact that it is still a piece of crap. Every and all quests go as followed - Talk to someone for an hour, walk somewhere and talk again, teleport somewhere and talk, buy an item off the GE, walk 10 minutes to find a guy to talk to, attack an easy to kill monster, pick up item, buy another item off GE, talk some more, talk again, teleport, run to nearest bank, talk, attack, talk, talk, talk, talk, walk, run, walk, walk, walk, find person, walk, easy puzzle based on luck, more luck and talking, grats you get a little bit of xp and a quest point. It would be fine if each quest didn't have the stupid humor only 5 year olds laugh at. It would also be fine if instead of going between the whole runescape world for a quest, you would be kept only in a single dungeon and all the supplies (even food and pots) were inside the dungeon for you to search for as you went through it.
  19. Going for 99? Oh well I guess so then...here you go.
  20. Runite is NOT good exp, a lot like any other "high" requirement resource gathering skills, for example, in Woodcutting niether magic nor yew tree are of any good exp compared to the other levels, same for Fishing, sharks are not even close to the exp rate of fly fishing for example. Same goes for Mining, iron in F2P and granite in P2P are you best choices for exp. P.S. It's mousekeys not hotkeys, and you should use it ;) . I'm almost positively sure he doesn't care one bit about getting xp. He just wants to get double rune ores...
  21. I hate when they all crowd around you. -.-
  22. I'm almost absolutely sure when the Summoning Batch 1 first came out, it was easier to obtain charms. In fact, if I remember correctly when Batch 2 came out they decreased all monsters drop rates for charms by quite a bit.
  23. The Kangaroo would of been quite useful for it's caring items ability, and it's spec would of been pretty neat (Most likely a kicking attack).
