  1. Please, only constructive CC. PLEASE try to not be overly negative. Like I saw, try to CC like Nadril. Thanks :D
  2. I like a lot. One problem I see is the size of the whip in the hand of the guard on the right. But yeah, really good. Off subject, sorta, why don't you try the shading style that Terley just started using, I think it could give your pixels a real nice look.
  3. Nadril, again you show your amazing sig making talent. First time at a sig genre, and you come up with something like this. Amazing. 9.9/10 (Fix the text :D).
  4. Looks absolutely wonderful. The only slight problem is the pixel-ness on the banner where the Japanese/Chinese text is (sorry if I'm being really ignorant). That might just be the filetype. But yeah, this is a top notch site layout.
  5. The lineart is OK. However, shading is needed, it isn't really more than a drawing until you add shading. Good work and good luck.
  6. the suspiscious building
  7. Ripping is bad, don't do it. Unless you made that other piece, try to draw your own.
  8. Thanks for the advice Nadril. The thing is, except for the mouth (which I used a circle tool) the entire thing was drawn with the Pencil tool. I knew something was messed up, and I think it is the "paint drawing" look. I'll see what I can do to fix it.
  9. I know that it needs alot, I think at least it's going SOMEHWHERE in the right direction. CC please. And if you don't have anything constructive to say, *please* don't waste my time. (HINT: Try to give CC like Nadril.)
  10. The planet looks spectacular. However, as you said, the Nebula is not so good. It's too obvious that it's brushing, try to make it more nebula-y.
  11. Looks okay, better than most things that are made in paint. Don't you think that the dragon items will be more sophisticated though?
  12. I think, emphasis on the word think, that the shading would look better coming off diagnally from the light source, and not in stiff lines. Just what I think, I'm not 100% positive.
  13. I suggest visiting the site http://www.good-tutorials.com to familiarize yourself with Photoshop. After that look for a tutorial on brushing, and you're good to go.
  14. I like them. Pics like these always relax me.
  15. I tried to capture the same gradual change from abstract to grunge. Looks better this time. I still feel something is missing.
  16. I made the same mistake as you when I first started, try not to make filter piles. Try some brushing, good-tutorials.com has some good brushing tutorials.
  17. Wow, I'm suprised anyone recognized them. Anyway, Thanks everyone for the CC.
  18. I like the pixel part, the background isn't doing it for me. Maybe try to make it gradually dither (I think that's the word) to being the actual picture.
  19. I'm really feeling it with this one. Any thoughts/suggestions/cc?
  20. Look good, however, as a general rule, don't copy renders/pictures that aren't yours.
  21. Other than the text, it looks REALLY good. How about trying a 1px black stroke around the text, at least to make it look a tiny bit better. But again, very good.

http://ew2.lysator.liu.se/pic/art/k/o/k ... lagrav.jpg This is the best example I could find, not a good one though. Also, Nadril, do you have MSN/AIM/Yahoo!? I'd be interested in talking to you over one of them, only if you don't mind.

Hmmm, I'll try something later. One more question, what's the best technique for making those sparkly star things that people add to their abstract art?

He's being sarcastic, I know him through the tip.it chat. Anyway, The only filter I used on this one was a Gaussian Blur to smooth out the brushing, I'm still having a little difficulty making a good looking render, which effects make good looking render?

I think it looks good. I'm still getting the hang of the whole brushing technique thing. Any suggestions on the burshing or the text?
