  1. I havn't seen this anywhere else. If you go south of Fally, there is a group of mages. If you talk to their leader he talks to you about Necomancy. This is pretty cool stuff! Check it out for yourself!
  2. Looks nice, but why is the water green?
  3. That's a really precise duct tape wallet. This girl I was friends with gave me one she made a few years ago, and it was much more clunkly (for lack of a better word) than yours is.
  4. Or, he can get a car and accelerate to the cliff, like on that old movie...where Jimbo jumps off the car just some feet before the car falls! The movie name is like Wild youth or something :P And you gotta agree with me, that would sound much better than a nerd suiciding hugging his videogame :P Off topic: Rebel Without a Cause, possibly? On topic: Coming from someone who is 16 and has a car...GO FOR THE CAR! How is this even a debate. It's just the most amazing thing ever. Make sure your parents pay for gas though.
  5. I've tried out KnightOnline a little bit before. The graphics are great for a free MMORPG, but the gameplay is more repetitive than RS (yes it's possible), the quests are BORING, and I got disconnected often. Those things led me to return to RS.
  6. Something, and not only personal expirience, tells me you got the idea for this right after you had played a game of CW. Nice fake though, would be better if it were the normal resolution and not all distorted.
  7. Sorry for quoting something from the first page, but that is actually supply and demand, really has nothing to do with inflation. If there is a greater demand for cosmics (which the arena introduced) then since there was a small supply for cosmics, because they had little use, the people who had hoards of cosmics immeadiately after the introduction of the arena could charge more. However, since people are now beginning to craft/doublecraft cosmics, the price will probably drop as the supply is much greater. On topic: I'd have to agree, this is a definate way to drain money from all the alchs. I'd just like to add that also doing the graveyard draws potentially alchers away from producing 768 gps. Hopefully this will bring some raw material prices down (of course with my 88 Fletching I hope that yew longs still stay around 600 gps :)). Nice observation Adam.
  8. He did mention it, and how it isn't worth it because it wastes inventory spots.
  9. For those that are GP conscious you can use dueling rings to telly to Castle Wars, withdraw a Glory ammy, telly to Edgeville, and deposit the ammy. No more risking 90k a trip. It's what I do. Nice guide thoughh, I jsut got 44 Runecrafting the other day, been making upwards of 300k an hour since.
  10. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=376174 There's a post to tell you all about the drop party.
  11. Fly fishing in Shilo...all by myself! :( If anyone wants to come join me, I'm in Shilo on world 91.
  12. There's a drop party on New Years day. Check the post by Nathaninch. Wasn't included in the calendar because it wasn't one of the Sturday events. Should still be plenty of fun though!
  13. I was browsing games on download.com during a free period in school three years ago when I stumbled upon runescape. The first thing I did after spawning in Lumby (there wasn't a Tutorial Island yet) was walk into the castle and own a man, wow I got so scared! Those first few weeks were by the far the most enjoyable of my Runescape career.
  14. Maybe I used really imprecise wording, but I still think that this WIp is much more simplistic than most pixels out there. Is that not true?
  15. I'm liking this piece a lot. The simplicity really works well, even though you 6 colors or so, you still protray a sense of accuracy. That said, the left arm (our right) looks distorted, can't tell if that's aprt of the WIPness, but nevertheless it works messed up. Overall GREAT work.
  16. You're gonna be using free trials for quite some time.
  17. That's quite an elitist view to take. Personally, I think that's a rediculous thing to say. Anything that someone puts effort into in an attempt to get it to look good, whether or not they are TAUGHT art, should still be called art. If people only followed the convential rules of art, then little progression would be made. I resent that negative attitude, how can you expect artists to become better if they don't make mistakes first. Obviously people will throw together something that looks like crap at first (unless they are truly gifted of course), but if after practice they become better why have that negative attitude towards people who "make things and then call it "art". "
  18. In that case.... http://www.simplygfx.com/videotutorials ... shing.html Before you go to that tut make sure you've got 10-15 good brush sets. http://www.visualdesigncore.com/tutorials/photoshop/15/ Here's another one. http://www.good-tutorials.com/search/qu ... 0/relevant You can look through there if these two tuts don't work for you. Good luck and happy brushing :D
  19. http://www.good-tutorials.com is always a good bet. Also http://www.pixel2life.com.
  20. The fishing one looks nice, great animation, originailty, and the glow on the sun and the moon looks nice. The woodcutting one isn't quite as appealing, the animation is a bit too choppy. Overall good work on both of them.
  21. That's the point of it.. it's extremely stylized.. I really dig it, GS, I want to say it's vaguely cubist, but that's probably not right.t.. The only thing I really don't like is the text, but, it's good enough, so, *shrug*.. Yeah, I understand that's the point, I just don't like the style.
  22. Yeah, I could tell that you're expirimenting. I think that, although you're going for simplicity, the guy could go with a little more definition. The part that bothers me the most is his leg, I just don't dig their rectangularness.
  23. I'm sorry, I don't like it. I understand you're going for simplicity, but the person just looks distorted.
