  1. To wear them you must've done the Bork miniquest, so you might as well assume that you must do it to get them as a drop too. With drop rates as low as they are for these items, it's better to be safe than sorry.
  2. Well, what was the bonus supposed to be then?
  3. With 53 Construction? Or are you talking about a different "bug"? :S
  4. In all my pvp kills i've not gotten a single pair of those damned gloves, how did you manage to get 23? :x Idk, my drop potential is seriously haxed atm. Got Vesta's Longsword 2 days ago, Vesta's Spear + Morrigan's Coif yesterday, and today... like 6 brawlers, Statius Plate, Zuriel Robe Top, like 3 Furies, Zuriel Hood, 6 brawlers... yeah. Idk how lol. To unspam, this was earlier today. [hide=][/hide] What you do to get on jagex's good side? drugs? money? Your luck increases depending on your hits on YouTube.
  5. That is damn sexy. Yeah, sure, but I don't understand what's supposed to be happening in it... And what is the transparent overlapping image?
  6. Ah. Although I thank you for the list of examples (many of which I have experienced or at least been around for) I only meant the ones you mentioned in your previous post. The Wallasalkies exploit sounds true; I know about he Falador 6/6/06; I hadn't heard about Crystal items ever being alch-able even through an oversight but again that could be true; and banking experience lamps (or rather the inability to do so) doesn't sound harmful.
  7. Are all of those real? The only one that doesn't sound very true is the bug but the others sound plausible.
  8. When was this? They may have been broken recently... I know they worked at one time as I remember a thread that had values (which I cannot seem to locate now) and since my friend used them for 80 Crafting (as I am planning on doing!).
  9. you've never killed a d claw'er before? it's sometimes a matter of luck, just like the dds, you will get killed in a couple of hits, or you won't lose any HP. i disagrees with the nerfing. the special is competes perfectly with AGS. my max hit so far is a 61 with claws, 65 with AGS and i used the exact same combo. The Saradomin Godsword special attack cancels it out nicely if you are dueling ( as in if you know you are going to be specced by the Claws) and you hit them with it at the same time and you actually hit.
  10. I know. But I'd rather use tools before the update incase they make the tools last for very few uses.
  11. Could someone please tell me how much extra XP is given when sewing Blue or Green Dragonhide Leather using the Morphic Needle?
  12. You might try Rune Brutals with an Ogre Comp Bow; As far as I know, this is the only form of Ranged that counts more towards crush than to stab. Since Waterfiends' Ranged and Defense are so high, Ranged may only be good for not taking damage but also be very slow.
  13. Robes don't sell for max anymore... After they didn't sell I just decided to keep them in case they make a quest or mini quest requiring them. I've heard it's quite tedious to get another set.
  14. Jealousy > maturity. Overnerf. My friend tells me that Ghrim only buys marble flatpacks for 10% of the Grand Exchange value now. They didn't have to completely remove the only profit ever to be made in this skill besides creating the materials (which doesn't even count because you get no XP in Construction while doing so). They even could've just put some sort of limit on how many you could sell to him a day. The XP from building those flatpacks wouldn't be fast unless you already had hundreds of millions to spend. For those who aren't aware, Gold Leaves are 130k each, Marble Blocks 325k each, and Magic Stones 975k each. Each flatpack requires at least one of these, and for those requiring Gold Leaves you also needed 5 Mahogany Planks each. Also, to even make the Magic Cape Racks, you would need 93-99 Construction already. If you were using the Crystal Saw and highest tea, you'd be further hindered. So the most expensive skill in the game actually making a large profit at level 99? Nope.
  15. I'm quite happy with this actually. This cape is almost as beautiful as the Agility Cape. I like this one untrimmed better than trimmed because the back (part touching your character) is white instead of red. It feels weird to wear this instead of the Quest Point Cape...
  16. I need a final clarification on this - If you get into a combat situation while wielding/wearing the non-corrupt version of PvP equipment does it automatically countdown when worn after that? Thinking about buying one if it doesn't degrade automatically after being hit/attacking something as nothing seems to match the Falador Shield 3...
  17. Problem solved, just went and reset everything at once and it updated a bit later when I checked it again.
  18. I've had it set for nearly since the AD came out... :(
  19. I've had a Quest Point Cape for a long time, so that's certainly not it. Withdrawing and resubmitting cash didn't work...
  20. All 750k is still in there... I talked to the carpenter to see if I had to activate it first too but he just says the same thing as the other citizens.
  21. I don't regularly use MTK so I wouldn't know how long it takes to collect Mahogany Logs, but two days and nothing? Something seems messed up there. I've had 750k in the coffers and 100% rating and all energy focused on Mahogany. Is it glitched or does it seriously take days and days to see results?
  22. Just getting the Mahogany is taking hours and hours. 75k in coffers 100% approval and all workers on hardwood...
  23. According to Tip's item database Dragon Claws alch for 50k while the Abyssal Whip alches for 72k, meaning that they would be lost to an Abyssal Whip on death. I might agree about the Dragon Platebody not being a drop (yet, since as you said, due to what JaGEx wants the price to be) but seeing as every other piece of Dragon equipment is in the drop table, I wouldn't put it past them adding Claws.
  24. it wouldnt drop less than a chain, jagex links items of the same armor type's price caps together so that doesnt happen. plus more people would sell their chains when the price of plate gets close enough to upgrade and the flooding of chains would make chains go down even more. :] if any of that makes sense. it did inside my head >.> By that logic, Karil's Coif would cost 3.3m+.
  25. deayalt ore....? maybe thats its use? I'm pretty sure daeyalt ore is used to create vampires or to fuel some machine. Agreed. It's way too easy to escape while holding onto some for it to be particularly valuable. Oh, hey, has anyone tried smithing Daeyalt in the activated Dragonkin place?
