The thing is, what alot of people are underestimating, these things could be a viable strength training option for those who just can't be bothered to do monkey madness. But somehow managed to complete all the quests neccesairy for it? :lol: . If you can't be bothered with Monkey madness, I doubt you would be bothered to do all the quests. Anyway, even IF you can use the claws without finishing the quest, I'd think its pretty neat that they released it. Wish they looked more like a dragon item though, 3 [bleep]es, compared to the 4 [bleep]es of a rune claw, wow, major difference. Was expecting atleast predator twin wristblades ;) I highly doubt they will make you need to do the quest to wield dragon claws. You need to do a quest in order to weild a dragon square, whats the difference? The times. The Dragon Square Shield was officially recognized as the best shield that was out at that time, but Dragon Claws have been hardly (officially) recognized at all.

Very plausible. If the next GMQ is anything like this one, we'll have no secrets left! GE trapdoor, GWD frozen door etc... Yeah, it didn't include the RuneCrafting Guild lady, after all of her hints. I was rather disappointed. White bird... Phoenix... The second quote seems to refer to the desert. Lots of curses and the Nile... Oh, and some praying, can't forget about all those desert deities. That could be possible, maybe a strength bonus if you wear the whole set? I was thinking more along the lines of whatever Dragon weapon you used's special attack being heightened... And possible some kind of heightened Defensive aura. I'd also like to see people who've completed WGS go into random Dragonkin-induced rages and be able to kill people while wearing multiple pieces of Dragon equipment (not that the people killed should suffer anything more than annoyance.). But I doubt that'll happen, even thought it would be a cool as some 'side-effect' of using Dragon equipment (refer to the Dragonkin thread for more info.).

I wouldn't put it past them. That's why I shoot every turkey I see with my automatic crossbow and then gut them so that they won't come back as zombies.

I know that Hazelmere foresaw this happening but it still seems like laziness on JaGEx's part to kill off 8 people at once. I was really looking forward to more quests with Cyrisius...

Why can't you use a cheap spell and just use Magic and Ranged and only have to protect from Magic? Or instead of using the relatively slow Rune Crossbow, use Dragon Darts with the current method? Can these demons be poisoned?

Ah no no, not yet, but by making it easier to get, more supply will reach demand. It'll just start dropping a little quicker than what it would of beforehand. Either way I'm not selling mine. It's been my (and probably every other RuneScape player's) dream to finally get a Dragon Platebody. I can't think of an item that I'd honestly want more. Time to get a Dragon Full Helmet. They're difficult to buy now that the plate is out and demand has increased... I'll probably go kill the demons for Dragon Claws, since they're also so difficult to buy.

I second that. I just did a 7 kill trip, using roughly 2 sharks per kill, i do sometimes get distracted and get hit a few times extra but generally i was rarely getting hit. Only reason i left was because i ran out of prayer pots. Do you prayer switch to avoid their attacks or are they just very inaccurate?

That is nothing when you think about the three Quests that he is a MAJOR part of. The Grand Tree The Eyes of Glouphrie The Path of Glouphrie And since you had to have already done those quests anyway...

you dont need to buy a plate, buy the pieces from the topicstarter, make the plate and sell it back to him although im aware this would involve some sort of a trust trade Which is what I was trying to avoid by trading directly. Bauke, I thank you for the offer, but I don't know you, and therefore cannot fully trust you. These pieces (and the platebody) are hard to buy right now, and I can't risk them (I was obviously lucky enough to get the other two pieces already...).

or that a little lame dragon thingy costing 80m (seeing as ags, the former epic spec weapon, 60m =p) as not many people are able to do quest + kill the tormented demons, which d claws is a rare drop to If any nerf, probably that the first spec will take 6/10 instead of 5/10 so you can't do it twice in a row...

I think they should be a drop like Dragon Spears to be honest... Incredibly rare but many creatures drop them.

You can sell the lump/shard/whatever, and I don't think that'll ever change. You can't pot up to start quest, just like that Back To My Roots quest. They're selling for above max in some cases...
