Are Rings (i) worth getting?
Since EOC and The World Wakes, I'm going to have to say probably not. The World Wakes will give you a Sixth-Age Circuit, 2.7 crit for all 3 styles and 12 armor. Onyx Ring (I) is 2.7 for the 3 styles and 22 armor for comparison. The style-specific rings give you 2.7 crit for their style, while the (I) versions give 3.0. Berserker Ring gives 2.2 to each crit and 5 armor, and the (I) gives 2.5 to each with 18 armor. This also in light of the fact that pretty soon Player-Owned Ports V2 will introduce what they're calling level 85 rings, so I suspect those will be far better if not at least equivalent. It takes a very long time to get 300 rank in Mobilizing Armies and is considered by most to be an unbearable slog. However, once you unlock the ability to get one ring you essentially unlock all of the others as well.

I was just thinking that, but there are likely a few other items close to alch value that would still be split into pieces. Godsword Shards, perhaps? Dragon Meds? Nice for collecting if nothing else.

Barrows - Rise of the Six
For some reason I actually want to do this and get the armor myself. I never felt that way about Nex or Vorago :P Maybe it's an affinity for the Barrows of old that lined my pockets back in the day? I really wish that instead of the silly pets they let us unlock overrides of the "deluxe" version brothers' armors, though.

Tempted to keepsake platebody/legs. I dunno, the textures on the skulls seem kinda low detail, a bit like the Regent override.

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
Wow so I was totally going to bind Soul Runes but Vulnerability requires Chaos Runes as well... No idea when the hell that happened...

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
I'm definitely going to try to bind a bunch of Soul Runes after I can get the higher tiers of the DG diary done! My friend told me there's a cross-game cap of level 90 on Magic damage, so perhaps Vulnerability will help compensate. Since we haven't really had the option of binding whatever rune we wanted previously, maybe it could become an entirely new staple :P

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
I'm not too concerned with DGing properly, I just want to have the most powerful setup for a single style in DG. My friend tells me that Celestial Catalytic Wand/Orb are actually significantly better than Staff because of something strange about DW, so I might try those with Celestial Robe Top and Blood Necklace (although I don't have one yet). I know though that at least in Magic gear that the Ranged Zombies and Forgotten Rangers tend to take a big chunk out of me at times.

We can agree there. Reasonable is a price similar to the other styles' level 90 weapons; an exact value is difficult to determine, though. Just had a look at weapons forums on RSOF. Majority of threads are Seismics. More than 3/4 of OP and replies have Partyhats and/or "the Charitable" on their avatar. Says something..

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
Well, I know, but it seems less useless if you're using it as a mage, since fighting the monsters that'll disable or see through it generally puts you at equal standing on the triangle (they're mostly mages) and the monsters that are fooled by it are the ones you're weak to. SSB is also an actual Magic class item now, so it conforms with the style, although I don't know if head slot items even affect your accuracy or whatever.

Zaros and Seren are too similar, to the point that it seems to be obviously intentional. But I thought only Zaros was specifically created by the Elder Gods? Maybe JaGEx just ranks eyes as a feature that demands power - a bit like their spike fetish - since Bandos has 4 eyes.

Oh, then that's what happened. I got a daily and a weekly the first time and then a daily and a phoenix one after reset today.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
I don't really wanna jump in the middle of this, but I'd like to know what people consider "reasonable" as prices for level 90 weapons. I should think it would be based on how difficult getting level 80 weapons was, although since most of them came from DG that tended to get easier as you went along. Obviously if we want a balanced combat system as was the point of EoC to begin with, the level 90 gear for each point should be similarly priced. Personally I don't think any of the weapons are priced reasonably. Drygores are too cheap, Ascensions are a bit beyond what I consider reasonable (but obtainable yourself, which makes a difference), and Seismics are lolWTF due to the obvious issues stated on this thread countless times. 150-200m On/100-200m Off sounds good as just some numbers off the top of my head (obviously not completely possible because Ascensions are interchangeable, but that's beside the point). I realize that Virtus Wand would cost more currently than Seismic Wand would if Seismic were 150m like I'm suggesting it should be, but in reality the prices are probably correlated, so Virtus Wand would drop massively if Seismic was that low.

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
What is the best combat style to use in Dungeoneering if I want to apply all of my equipped binds to one? I appreciate that someone might suggest that I take weapons from multiple styles with me at a one time, but that's not what I'm asking. Does "best" combat style differ if I have access to Elite Dungeoneering Achievement Diary rewards? (Using 2 Ring of Kinship effects simultaneously.) What 2 effects should I have equipped at once in that case? This is just my guess but I'm thinking Celestial Hood/Top/Bottom/Celestial Catalytic Staff + T10 Blaster/Blitzer. Magic seems preferable since, if you wish, you can switch between any of the 4 elemental spells using the same weapon, meaning you can take advantage of any specific Magic weakness. My only other question would be, if the above setup is as good as I can do, should I substitute a Shadowsilk Hood instead of a Celestial Hood? It seems like most of the common things that Magic is weak to are fooled by the Hood (Ranged Zombies and Skeletons, Forgotten Rangers). Of course I might be totally off-base with all of this and melee might be the best single style to use even with dual rings, so that's what I'm asking to begin with... :P

D&D Tracker
Maybe I'm just confused here, but I got a daily and a weekly token just now. What was supposed to be random about them? Ohh yess. Too bad we can't just use every day's token on the same weekly D&D... -.- Solomon's of the week, bringing people together :D Walk Like an Egyptian Thriller Both wonderfully amusing!!

Lumbridge Rebuildathon [30-Oct-2013]
There should be some permanent evidence that the first battle between gods in the 6th age occurred there. I thought there was going to be a temple built?

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
Uhh... It would seem to me that Seismics in particular just need their drop rates raised, and Vorago's drop system changed, possibly dramatically. Perhaps some kind of drop "pool" is in order for the team, so that coin/lootshare could be implemented more fairly. I realize that's only a small part of the above discussion, though.

Future Update Discussions
I am very much looking forward to Barrows Brothers Deluxe. I've always considered the Barrows and the Brothers themselves integral to RuneScape's unique lore, and it's nice for their story to finally be fleshed out. I must admit, though... I'm rather disappointed that it doesn't sound as if we'll be getting "super" versions of existing Barrows equipment. Despite the redundancy of having 4 sets of equipment with equivalent stats, I was really hoping to get my hands on some "super" Torag's (historically my favorite set of equipment). I suppose I'm also disappointed that there are no T90 weapons accompanying this update. Ah well, that gives them room to introduce T90 Godswords or some shit. As for the whole "ports update is dead-on-release" thing... Well, perhaps they could just release T85 power armor from Ports? And perhaps whatever level 90 armor from BBD will degrade to dust like Tectonic/Serenic? That way, Ports can supply relatively permanent but slightly weaker options. And honestly level 85 2H weapons from ports doesn't sound like a bad choice either. I'll be dreaming of a Tetsu Katana.
