Since when has Jagex cared about new players? Since they updated/upgraded Lumbridge/surroundings with the best graphics in game, added the task system, and a ton of gimmicks not found anywhere else in the game to make the game seem more "interactive". Although I suppose you could argue those things are more for their bottom line than the players themselves...

I had the same problem. Either play in fixed mode or full screen; I switched to fixed. I've heard that using the RS client fixes the problems for resizeable, but I have yet to try it. Lol the client is not available in my area... That's some shit. :mellow: It's weird because even if I unmaximize my window with RS in it the tabs are still cut off in resizeable... Do you live in Texas? Apparently the official RS Client isn't available there due to them having difficulty securing their IP in that particular state. I've heard it was illegal in Texas for some strange reason >.> Had to be in the ONE place that it can't be gotten huh? My friend has it, will probably dl it off his server, but at the moment JaGEx seems aware of this (there's a thread on RSOF under Technical Support) so I'm going to wait. But, now, I can't even log into a game world without it freezing and then logging me out completely. I even changed all my browser settings back to how they were. Brb rebooting

I'm mad. ALL of my tabs along the bottom (in game, obviously?) are cut in half. I'm running Windows 7, which is good for MOST things, but the stupid system bar already got in my way often because the tabs were practically touching it. Now that those tabs are half size this'll be an even more annoying problem. I use F-keys as much as possible but my chat settings are covered up... Help! If you know how to move the entire game screen in resizable up a few notches and lock the windows bar in an open position that'd be great. EDIT minimizing the game but still using resizeable presents the same problem. My program borders are too thick or something, but I've no idea how to change them.

They go through the full Entangle animation, so it's still short, why I said I wasn't quick enough to capture the best one lol. Yeah, that's why the picture is huge haha V

Brilliant. And to anyone buttmad over this , if you are going for a comp cape you probably can take 1 hour out of 3 weeks to do it. It's your fault you are now too cool to do holiday updates. It appears that they're once again pissing in whichever direction they feel and not caring who gets hit by their inglorious stream. Although I can agree that maxed players shouldn't have had trouble attending the events, I can't agree that they should been punished for not doing so. As already said, there's been a certain precedence that holiday events are not really required. Plus, what happened to being able to play holiday content after the expiration, as a normal quest? They did this for at least 3 events iirc.

This is the only comment I wanted to make. :) I looked it up for a friend and D Plate/Legs + Fury/Berserker is the same Str bonus and MUCH higher Def (other than Ranged) than Bandos Chestplate/Tassets + Glory/[NotBerserker] and around 15m less. Not that Dragon is really being represented here, which is understandable, but it is the only other considerable armor that doesn't degrade. I just typically facepalm when I see Bandos being used with a Glory lol.

I love the range on these things. And they last a long time... And they pause the game of every enemy in my sight for about 10 seconds. (Ignore the fact that only 3 people look bound in both pics... -.- ) But do take notice of the multi-KO with the spec in the one pic. :)

Yeah, same... :wall: I'm almost certain a few of the things I mentioned USED to say unarmed but no longer do.

Maybe that prod thing from sheep herder. I don't have it anymore though... At the moment I'm testing at least the poh banner because I'm almost certain it used to say "unarmed".

I remember clearly that some very weak or cosmetic weapons were considered "unarmed" when you looked at your weapon interface. These were not fun weapons - those are entirely different and typically have negative stats. Does anyone know specific examples? I thought things like the Gavel, Banner (POH), Vexillium, Barb-tailed Harpoon, and Snowball would be, but they now have names in the interface, so perhaps these gaps were filled (although I'm not sure these were ever vague, these are just things I suspected would be).

That's a great idea actually. If I ever get back to Slayer I'll definitely keep this in mind. I mean I've already got Group Vengeance... But it's not like I ever train Farming any other way.

Of course you knew I had to post here! Current Rotate out shields (and gloves to Spellcaster) sometimes, actually liked the Hourglass from the event but usually have Surgebox. Dominion Staff would complete it, but alas cannot be taken out of the tower. Previous (or pretty close anyway) Would sometimes wield Zamorak Banner, D Sq (SP) when advertising for clan for maximum exposure. Also put together the red queen on the right so that's practically mine too, lol.

It's close to 35 total. You get 18960 pts per hour assuming you never miss anything and have the levels to do everything, which really isn't hard once you've got the waves down.

It's actually gotten better as of the time I write this comment! More than just a handful of people get in. The games are close, but my clan was winning most of the time. I think I'll be able to stick it out after all... :D

Is any explanation needed? Oh, well... Bork, a big ork summoned by Zamorakian masters is accompanied by one such mage who employs a formerly invincible forcefield. No man or beast (summon) could tear at his traitorous flesh with their magic, ranged, or melee attacks, rendering him impervious to all challengers! Until now! Dreadnips, the electronic walking sentries spat up by a far larger sentient robot fused to the base of the Dominion Tower once again prove disastorous to all manner of foe with their vague yet super effective combat style! This was not as easy as I had thought it would be. Bork hits hella accurately, even through my bluttorial defenses, and the mage far more accurately, yet slower, when one does not have active Deflect Magic. Thankfully, Dreadnips poison their victims, and quite often. This, combined with the fact that the Zamorak Mage has seemingly NO Defense under his forcefield allowed the Dreadnip to get in enough hits for me to survive long enough to watch my spiteful bastard of a comrade fall. You see, hits on the mage count for allowing you to call forth a Dreadnip, but not for it to stay out for very long - the Dreadnip will mistakenly believe you are no longer in the battle. So at the start, I was attacking Bork with my immensely powerful fists to maintain my mechanical allies' zeal. I also killed Bork's minions so that they would no longer obstruct my view of my true target, the mage. As you can see in this pristinely documented footage, though, I eventually became fatigued and had to trap the stupid oaf behind some rocks while I dealt with his moronic master. This was still acceptable, as Dreadnips could get at least 2 attacks in before self destructing from perceived foreveraloneness, and the clod was nearly dead from poison anyway. When the mage finally did die, I turned my sights to Bork, finishing him off. But, unsurprisingly, it was not accounted for that the mage would meet his end, and, upon finishing Bork, I was simply ejected to the chaos portal outside the Dagannoth room, disallowing me partake in the generous spoils usually left for enduring combatants. But I did get one drop: Bones. Bones of success, from the Zamorak Mage!

I hate to be a contrarian, but I DGed exclusively on 77 during the weekend with my friend keying every floor, and we never encountered the "stereotypical" example of said world. It's just so strange to hear that such sad examples would flock to your clan chat, which although heralded as a paradigm of Dungeoneering excellence, should be lesser known than a hub world like 77. Maybe the worst came out of the woodwork, I dunno. I'm sorry it happened this way for you guys, I just think it's ridiculous how many people dish on "the other guys" when, in my personal experience, even those ill-equipped randoms on those worlds perform at least satisfactorily (which I think I'm qualified enough to judge :P).
