I was complying from the first post here today, saying that I would be switching to gauntlets. My only question was on how to run a gauntlet hunt, and possibly how to use AHK/Wicked's new functions since I have no experience with such.

Obtaurian doesn't make decisions on bind conventions in DGS. I do, since I'm the one that calculates the data. You can't just pick and choose admins to agree with. I have final say on bind conventions. If for whatever reason what obtaurian's said in the past contradicts what I have said, it is only because I had not provided him with new DPS data when he made such a contradiction. What? I didn't read your last post before I replied with that. All I was saying is that any third bind gives an advantage vs not having a third bind. A battleaxe and rapier is better than just a battleaxe but not as good as the 2h and rapier combo, and I'm sure both you and he understand that. You make it sound like I'm putting words in his mouth or something... You and him are on the same page. I was just saying that I still have an easier time with most shades/zombies than a baxe user would, and that's an advantage, but it's an inferior advantage. You seem to be misinterpretting what I'm saying and then immediately taking issue with it. I'm already going to switch to gauntlets (and I understand why it's a good choice to do so) so what does it matter?

Oh no guys I'm honestly fine with switching to gauntlets as I wanted Blood Necklace anyway. I got T10 zerker and have had turm and I kinda wanna see what I can hit. I understand the reasoning (overlap and such) although I still found plenty of use for rapier but I really don't want to argue about it because I'm sure that Obtaurian understood that there were still benefits to the pairing, just that they were reduced in relation to Rapier + 2H (this talking about 3rd bind guide). My personal preference tends towards faster weapons which is why since Baxe + Rapier isn't acceptable I'd rather just stay Baxe than do Rapier + 2H. Thanks for clarifying that they're C6 smalls and not meds. Hey Wicked make a touchscreen version for ipad/droid of that keying program :)

But simply not wanting to is :thumbup: I don't key because I legitimately can't remember all those doors. I don't know how people do. Fortunately this hasn't presented itself as a problem as a non-keyer as long as I remember what I gate (which I do! ;) ). The program a few pages back might help if I knew how to set it up/anything about programming atal... I'll look into it! Speaking of non-keying since I just get nubbed at for having baxe w/rapier I'd just like to switch to mittens (was planning on dropping Rapier for B Neck but I can't find any after 100 sooo...). Simpler for me and it makes you guys happy lol... 5:5 meds on whatever floor Lahk Planefreezer starts appearing on? "Gauntlet hunt +4!" I can at least handle keying Ice meds.

The keyer gets to have any melee top/legs/kite from the tables, if you consider that special.

It's very simple 1-2-3! 1. What do you play for? What keeps you from quitting? 2. What would make you quit? What could realistically happen with RuneScape that would cause you to quit quickly afterwards? 3. What would would you do [after you quit]? What would you allot the time to that you had previously given RuneScape? If you wish to criticize someone else's reasons you must respond in full first. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 1. I still play because I enjoy the freedom to do whatever I want within the game at any time I want. I enjoy storylines and since most remain unfinished I still want to see how they end. I like to make my character look neat with new and unique combinations of items. I have fun doing all of the above with longterm friends whom I have met through RuneScape. 2. I would quit if the price of membership were doubled or credit cards were no longer accepted (same thing really, game cards are almost twice as expensive) or if I were banned, permanently muted, or had my account stolen. I wouild likely also quit if it were announced (or became apparent) that the efforts funneled into updates for RuneScape were being mostly or entirely reappropriated towards a different game. 3. If I quit I would put more time towards pursuing creative interests such as writing and drawing. I would also try to keep in contact with the friends I met in RuneScape through other channels, even moreso than I already do.

Because you hide underground right? :P _____ I voted no because, although I like free trade, I didn't want the bulk of the griefer crowd to return. Well, and I was also under the naive impression that JaGEx really did have some way to combat bots... I would define a griefer as someone who would kill (or lure) someone else in the Wilderness not because they wanted to make money but because they wanted that person to feel bad about losing theirs. I'm not a PKer, so PKers are going to tell me my opinion is invalid. But seriously, how were PvP worlds not better than the old Wilderness? PKers've said that they wanted the items their victim was carrying, but when most PKers wouldn't wear anything worth anything, the random drops with statuettes and high level items would be more profitable. I think in reality the PKers who left because of the removal of/transfer from old Wilderness to PvP Worlds left because they were forcefully segregated from the innocents they preyed upon before. And these same people are the ones who Erage and just randomly insult, troll, and flame others. I'm far from declaring all PKers as scum, but the ones who only play to ruin others' experience (both inside and outside of the Wilderness) certainly are (differentiated by the term "griefers"), and are likely the bulk of the people who left and returned. The game was far better off with those particulars gone and although some will argue that the community has always been terrible it's certainly degraded further in the past year. And the bots are ridiculous. They ruin any immersion the game had. (All games have immersion by the way; just because RuneScape is in many ways casual and browser-based doesn't mean it lacked immersion.) I hate SEEING swarms of strange characters with strings of random letters and numbers for names swarming about the place like drones all wearing the same gear. I certainly don't regret my vote. What I do find regretful is that I've been forced to suffer through the consequences of the short-sighted, the ignorant, the sadistic, the nostalgic, and the self-centered.

Also IDK if anyone cares about titles (this isn't XBL) but it's very easy to get this one: When Walped Gurega is very close to death just let yourself be hit by his tentacle special attack. It'll put you at exactly 1hp (like Nomad does, I think).

God didn't have to forbid it because JaGEx already did on that last bit. Everyone starts on a clean slate when the loyalty program is released, so none of the previous years anyone has paid will matter. I really like your avatar by the way...

How do you keep track of what rooms are part of the critical path? Anything after a pot door is not on the critical path. Otherwise, you can't tell. If you vidded it you could see which rooms had which keys and find out. But that is impractical and I thought you'd have a better way ues guide mode. Why is part of it so bright? Is that guide mode?

Did you happen to change your display name around the time you stopped getting PMs?

Unfortunately, it's not new, and equally unfortunately, I don't know how I got on their hitlist either. My ignore list was literally filled by bots who had PMed me. I'd take the flak from assholistic mod haters if I could just get the ability to instantly silence these guys. In before people say Private to "Friends".

Not that anyone has so far argued against this, but I'd just like to point out for those unaware that this is entirely in-line with how Gamestop operates when you preorder a game from them. You'll often get an in-game item that you can use from the very start. It'll give you a slight advantage over others at the beginning, but often also be outclassed quickly. Also often there will be a multiplayer advantage, but from the games that I've owned that got this, the advantages didn't hold much significance. I think that this was meant to target people people blissfully unaware of RuneScape. Membership cards are the only "tangible" product they can sell in stores. However, anything on store shelves is good advertising. In a way, I feel a little prideful that RS is finally in the biggest store for gaming, standing among the "real" games.

You can't say IN AMERICA anymore either. At least not without me giggling. Oh also This one I actually CAN thank DGS for. :)

Or maybe they play RS because [RS] didn't used to do those things. There was a nice peace of mind to knowing that one monthly payment was all there was for everyone to be on an equal playing field.

It should at least somewhat visibly resemble the shape of the sword shown where you bought the plan as a reward. I don't have plan IV but V is very easy to spot.

When you actually create the sword the plan must match the one you bought AND you must get 100% to keep it (resulting in the message about the order being cancelled).

The unbelievable rate at which I/we were getting them slowed a bit. Look like 2 pages back I posted at least 5 from the same day lol...
