Curses or Prayers for Armadyl GWD?
Meh, have to wear the boots or what? Thought it would be more significant, although I realize with all the other bonuses 5% is quite a bit... Thanks!

Curses or Prayers for Armadyl GWD?
Alright, thank you! :) Now, does anyone know about the damage bonuses from Elite Frem.?

Curses or Prayers for Armadyl GWD?
Ah, I see... Is it still better to be on Prayers if one only has Eagle-Eye though?

Curses or Prayers for Armadyl GWD?
Seeing how an entire attack plan at Jad revolves around the damage from Deflection Curses, I was wondering - Kree'arra's max hit with Ranged is over 700 iirc. Are Curses better there than Prayers? What if I have Rigour unlocked? Also, Is there any known measurement of the bonus damage on Dagannoths given from completing the Elite Frem. Diary?

Yeah, I know. But it's still situation meets disposition... #-o

Not entirely his fault, I should think. He understood the importance of a hood AND he found one at the perfect opportunity (around lvl 50) without even being told. However, during that floor, his friend (also hoodless  ) took it from right in front of him and alched it... It was only through quite a bit of encouragement that he got that far. A lot of people would just ragequit... I'm not pushing him right now lol. If it's any consolation, he told me just now he was planning on binding both maul and rapier. That should be decently effective, I think?

Very fun. Overloads were wasted there, could barely even get hits in! Trip lasted a straight hour. No picks, ever. Bonecrusher doesn't work on LS... -.- Main picture taken not too far in, price checker was for ending loot for me alone. [cabbage] nearly disolved my shield lol!

Can someone explain the platebeard thing to me, or did I have to be in some particular dungeon to get the joke? :P Guessing that it has to do with the fact that Primal Platebodies look like giant faces, lol. Odd question, but then I guess I have a lot of them lately. My friend refuses to use Promethium, but is only 70ish DG. What's the best Primal weapon he can use that's available to him?

Got pick trimmed while waiting out familiar's timer lol. People calling it a golden Robin Hood Hat are historically illiterate... This is definitely supposed to resemble the Spanish Conquistadors. Their motto was God, GOLD, and glory. Lol. Funny I learned something from Freshmann history??

Oh, I thought group venge might be an exception since it condenses the time down to just one person... But what I meant about the CSB is, could I use the Death Runes in it for other spells, like group venge? That way, only Earth Runes would be out of the ordinary

Guess my question got lost in the shuffle a bit. Does anyone in DGS have Vengeance Group, and do they use it consistently while in dungeons? I should surely think it would be worthwhile for one member to make the runes, although I'm not sure if that would be over the entire dungeon. Also, I don't have a CSB; Are you able to use the runes within it for spells other than Surges?

Probably a clan PK Trip. Mostly for fun rather than just the loot. :P Then they're idiots, if want to hunt some people go kill Green Drag killers, Make more cash that way anyways. It's called having fun. They like killing revhunters for fun. They like to PvP. They like to kill people who are killing monsters that bring PvP equipment into the game. While it may be fun to them, it is a dumb thing to do. Good logic, but you don't need PvP equipment to kill someone 20 v 1 :P

Learn or practice? Because I would assume you just do the steps between attack turns. Hit - pick up branches - hit - make trap - hit - set trap? :P

Yeah, I think I got sidetracked halfway through and tried to make it a hybrid list between DGS teams and teams 'above W148' but 'below 3BO'... Sorry lol. I feel more comfortable with an If [skill] is required, then level [number] is recommended. The teams I'm on definitely have to fish more often than you guys, for example, but rarely have HHBs, so Hunter/Crafting wouldn't be issues. I was going to make a revised list but things really get too conditional! Out of curiousity, do any of the regulars in DGS have/use Vengeance Group?

Actually haven't posted here in a while... Is there a list of most useful/recommended skill levels? I don't know, maybe it's not necessary and it just comes down to whatever level is needed for T10 for that particular skill... Whenever I DG with people with max or near max stats I simply find myself lacking when it comes to things like level 90 chests or GC logs/bows. There are also things like Hunter and Crafting. I'm not sure if people usually even touch those skills, even if they do have a HHB. Here's a list I've created, going [mostly] in order of skills listed in game: 99 Attack (Primal Battleaxe/2h/Rapier) 99 Strength 99 Defense (Primal Platebody/Gaunlets) 99 Hitpoints 90 Ranged (Gravecreeper -bow) 95 Prayer (Turmoil) 95 Magic (Fire Surge, Vengeance Group) 91 Summoning (Sachem Bloodrager) _ _ _ 70 Runecraft (Surgebox) 75 Construction (Base Altar) 99 Herblore (Strong Survivalist)* 90 Thieving (Highest chest) 99 Crafting (Tyrannoleather Body)* 96 Fletching (Gravecreeper Longbow)* 41 Slayer (Night spider) 90 Hunter (Tyrannomastyx)* 90 Mining (Promethium Ore) 50 Smithing (Zephyrium Bar) 90 Fishing (Raw Cave Moray) 90 Cooking (Cave Moray) 90 Firemaking (Gravecreeper Branches) 90 Woodcutting (Gravecreeper Branches) 95 Farming (Buckthorn)* Some distinctions are hard to make. 99 combats would almost assuredly be recommended, but other 99 skills seem more arbitrary, even if they do provide a small bonus each level over the required. The ones marked with * are ones I'm not sure about, although I'm pretty confident with the others. Please advise. Also, how does one skip Necrolord floors? I believe I chose F42 and still got him... And... What length of bow is recommended for him?

Combat cape[Topic is no longer necessary]
Funny, I posted something similar on RSOF. However, I think it should also require 99 Slayer and Dungeoneering, but only have stats equivalent to whatever cape has the highest that goes into it. IE, God Cape overshadows Fire Cape's +1 Magic, SW Cape overshadows Fire Cape's +4 Prayer, but do not add them and certainly do not make it equivalent to the Completionist Cape. I also wanted to add that while I don't think the point of this cape would be to show it off, 138 combat doesn't really do that anyway. 138 combat shows you're a master of melees and probably close to being a master of Summoning and Prayer, but it doesn't guarantee that you have 99 Magic, Ranged, Summoning, or Prayer, or Slayer or Dungeoneering for that matter.

Full Completionist Cape Requirement List (Including Trim. Reqs)
From the max and completionist capes I've seen, it appears that you lose your sense of style during the course of achieving them. Anyway this has probably been said before, but I think the CW req should just be full Profound. Surely winning nearly 2000 games of Castle Wars is more impressive than losing 5000.

Unafraid to bot
Just a little funny the first page was all [bleep]ing about how many bot topics there were and here we are at pg 13... BELIEVE IT OR NOT, there really was a time when there were far more human players than bots, and it felt like everyone was on the same level playing field, dealing with the same challenges. I have played consistently enough to have noticed the in-flow of bots, from their humble beginnings at the flax plants... Now it just feels like a ghost town of sorts. [i agree with the above] Botters do not affect a majority of the people who have posted here and whom use these forums because they are playing this game as a single-player game. Botting heavily lowers my enjoyment when I can't find real people to play with anymore. I've said it before, RuneScape used to be more about little goals and playing in unproductive ways that people actually used to find fun. I believe I called it a softcore RPing vehicle somewhere else... Now it seems like if someone isn't a bot they only want to focus on grinding to keep up with them... I actually really enjoyed FNV after setting my skill levels to 100s, allowing me to access every secret room and quest I wanted to. After I had done most of those, I set my combat skills on there to 100s too and force-leveled my character to 138 (985 HP :( ), allowing me to get all of the perks in the process, and it was still fun for quite a while. I don't know if I even visited RS for a month. Agreed that 2-hitting everything even with extremely weak weapons isn't much fun though... Lol I'm not sure this is relevant.

Tip.It Times - 8th May 2011
The second article rather unfortunately seems to have pitted Construction VS Summoning+Dungeoneering. There is no reason for what appears to be the majority of responses qualifying the latter two by abasing the former... That out of the way, The conflagratory article is very well written. I've no doubt someone unfamiliar with the content would find it easy to agree with and take at face value. However, I've no idea why it was written at all. This isn't college writing anymore; if you write for the Tip.It Times, you should be doing it because you have a valid point to make and enjoy writing. This SOUNDS like papers I've BSed in the past... Structured well, presented in a way that it would appear to someone who was unfamiliar with the subject to be validated by minimal research. Writing for Tip.It times IS voluntary right? I don't take it at face value; I don't think it's possible to truly hold these views if one is fully aware of the subject matter they are on about and what they would be implicating. Perhaps he no longer plays, remembers Construction and Hunter quite fondly, and was fed only the worse things about each of the two newer skills and forced to write an article to maintain his seat in the Editorial Panel. Maybe he really did just want to shamelessly plug Archeology into a front-page article. There's also chance that he's seen how much more complex Dungeoneering rooms are (while still being cookie-cutter) and is angry that the same will never be introduced for player use in his favorite skill, Construction. No more brainstorming right now. Tired... -_-
