In other words, cash in now, then in a month or so when you actually have all the scrolls and story missions and 2 of each of the imbecilically rare/MIA special components make the weapons for outfitscape purposes. Gotcha! ;) I'll take 97.5k/plate over dual level 85 katanas I can't even get for a while (and probably won't even use, EVEN for outfitscape!).

I've gotten one, maybe two scroll voyages since the update :thumbdown: Thankfully I did get 2 ports enhancers from the maw though :thumbup: I'm really missing the point of clue voyages apparently, too -.- they seem like story voyages by a different name... but without any story.

I suppose I probably just need to brush up on my dragon lore, but how exactly do the dragons become metal-infused? I'd like to know as much before I even contemplated a crystal dragon, even if it was intended as a joke :P Also, perhaps neither here nor there, but as the metallic dragons rise in metal quality, I would hope they become more powerful but less bestial - even to the point that an adamantite or runite dragon is quite (hue) refined.

I know we've known about the whip's spec for a while now, but I hadn't considered what a gamechanger it could be at Castle Wars. I really feel like there needs to be some kind of Magic equipment that repels enemies to offset this. Quite excited to finally see Zamorak get his quest, and the character lineup is grand. Looks like I'll be playing it for the story and experience pretty much entirely, though - I can't imagine the rewards being good with such low requirements. I'd be quite interested in finding out if his possession of the SoJ puts him back on par with Papa Smurf, at least raw DPS-wise. I'd also be glad to know that JaGEx at least has the sense to try to reverse the enormous detriment that occurred because people who weren't interested in lore were allowed to bandwagon and negatively impact it. I swear to god [of chaos] though if they have Zamorak torn to pieces by Dragonkin because of this... -.- Zalok, looks like you were right about his base being F61 lol I think it's great that they updated Nomad - and absolutely [bleep]ing stupid they immediately took his new look and made it into an override. Are the titles they listed from Demon Flash Mobs the only titles they'll have, or have they confirmed we'll be able to get them all? My goal after this came out was going to be obtaining "the Blazing", but if it's only the 3 listed I'll just continue to use a different far more prestigious one... <_<

Do they at least offer some discount for the first month for brand new accounts, or perhaps accounts that had membership a while ago, or accounts that just lost membership but were paying much lower? Some kind of "trial" rate, at least.

Seems like a ninja thing. They were able to put out a couple of slayer monsters a week, why not the rest of the Dagannoth, walruses, crabs etc :| (Unless of course, even the graphically updated Dagannoth are outdated now!)

I will still try to get it soon if only because of its origin and because there are no other pets I like other than the krakan which is guaranteed to be an even bigger pain in the ass to get :P

Lol I'm not even hating, but the game is so damn cheap, as well as with bonds in-game, I think that if you cared at all you would already be a member If there are a limited number of ideas accepted, it makes sense to constrain it to paying customers, but I think the biggest reason to make it members only is that more than likely only members will experience the content, whether a free player suggested it or not.

If the CW req was changed to full Hybrid (or similar) I might actually eventually go for Trim lol. I just can't justify spending as much time on Castle Wars (even if I enjoy playing a game or two legitimately every once in a while) as they ask. I'm sure there are a few other things with large time requirements I'd struggle with but none seem as imposing as that. oh wait shattered hearts

The smallest of caveats to the above, but I feel quite "meh" whenever I hear about new titles/pets lately lol. There are getting to be so many, and you can only display one of each at a time so it begins to feel like a "new and shiny gotta get em" kind of deal instead of some affinity for the pet's (title's) looks or activity acquired during. It might be nice (at least once they're all in the Pet Inteface, if ever) to have something that automatically cycles through a few given pets.

That's actually the only one I really want. It looks quite strange without particles on though, pretty sure there's supposed to be a cloud around its bottom half?

Although I consider the above discussion to have its legitimacy, I have to say I personally don't care much as to the time artificially wasted while trying to get this override. Since it's unlikely that there will be a reversal to make this task easier to complete, the override itself will be fairly rare (lending a prestige component) in addition to aesthetically appealing (my main reason, although I see it's debatable :P). I think maybe we're forgetting this is Vorago we're talking about, and the actual monetary gain could be significant while undertaking this challenge. What I will end up getting pissed about is if there's virtually no realistic way I can get this due to shortage of teams or rampant elitism within the few teams that do go on a normal basis. Which is why, I ask yet again, what else might I need, gear- and item-wise, to be accepted? I probably have everything short of a Completionist Cape that they could want already, anyway.
