It is probably a quest start point which makes the dragon x bow available, although why have a dragon x bow? What special would it have since the specials are in the bolts(unless there is only one type of bolt that can be used with it like the bone crossbow)? Kudos to Jagex if it is going to be released and even more kudos if they can figure out something new for the dragon crossbow. (^speculation^)

Why not a: Dirk-a longer dagger but not quite a short sword. It's former use was as a weapon to be placed under a shield to attack; so here is dual wielding right here. Chúi-a staff with a weighted ball at one end of it. I could see this being used as a crushing spear, good for waterfiends. And while they're at it why not add a better animation to those canes implementing the martial art Bartitsu (a martial art that uses a specialized weapon cane to attack and defend).

Ah the days of new membership. Happy memories. Story time. A few years ago when my parents decided that is wasn't okay for me to be playing videogames I was only allowed to go on the web for research. And research I did, mostly castlewars \ . When they decided it was okay for me to play games again I asked them if it was okay to borrow their credit card to get members. Answer is "Yes". Boom I get members. The first thing I do is ask my ex-member friend where castlewars was. The next 3-4 hours of my life were spent trying to find out how to get over this huge mountain with wolves on it, sheesh what wolf in their right mind would want to stay on one mountain their whole lives. After multiple attempts to jump off the cliff onto this unknown beach I gave up and decided to walk around a bit. Amazingly after a bit of wandering I find myself looking up at aforementioned cliff wondering how I got there. Then out came the handy dandy world map that didn't work as I had hoped (ended up in this place called yanille a few times went back up to ardougne then got lost in a forest of trees oh how fun). Well the story ended up like this: I found my way to castlewars, played about 7 rounds, won 2, said "This stinks" then proceeded to pickpocket men. THE END

Yeah some devious minds designed that one. That must have been one of the hardest puzzles i've done in a game. I think Jagex doesn't want to continue the storyline because they can't see many ways to go up from there. Unless you are thrown into the temple of light with no armour/food/prayer/teles and have to solve it. what else has come out! seriously look at what they managed last year. tell me they can't handle a decent update a month! Alright. Here's what I'll tell you. It's been a month since this Slayer NPC was conceptualized. One month. To the day. Projects do NOT get done in ONE month. They take many, many months of programming. Things can go perfectly, and get released early; things can go horribly wrong, and be delayed. There might be a change in plans, as well, from the big wigs - they might want the dev team to take their time and do things right with their updates, rather than rush out dozens of updates every other week, and have them fall dramatically short of the player's expectations. Just because Mobilising Armies or this new Slayer monster aren't out yet is no reason to go around criticizing Jagex's time management skills. For all you know, those updates were brewing since 08. So chill out, have an ice cream, and quit acting like a spoiled brat. It'll be launched when it's ready, and not a moment sooner. Thank you for silencing the inpatient peoples of tif. And to the aforementioned people, wait, don't complain before the update comes out. Complain or praise after the update comes out.

Being called a safer depends on how much you eat. If you eat excessively then you will probably be called a safer. I.E. You get a near death hit inflicted on you then you eat like 4 or 5 lobsters/swordfish that is considered safeing.(non-member) BUT I hate the people that call people safers when they aren't safeing because they are ruining the image of the pker.
