I got muted a while back and received 0.1 blackmarks. I was able to appeal this though. Surely the same rules should follow here?

I got muted today for breaking rule 1 (bs reason but I dont think mods here like it when people show reasons for mutes etc so I wont post). Anyway, when I go to appeal the ban it cannot be appealed because it says it is 'deferred'. Does this mean I didn't get any blackmarks from this mute? Thanks.

A pretty good guide for ensuring you dont cause problems for your own team :) A few things that I think I should point out though. Firstly, jester boots and wizard boots > d boots in cw. Also, and I think this is very important, is not to start playing cw in the major cw worlds until you have at least about 800 tickets. Play the smaller worlds and learn how the mechanics of the game work first. Perhaps try scoring in the major worlds every once in a while but in general people that arent experienced cwers tend to die and lose the flag. I personally used to go on the stacked side in w24 just to get used to scoring vs a large number of players which was very fun, but obviously once you can play well, antistacking is the way forward. :D

OK, could you explain why this would help please?

I've had my laptop since about february and all of a sudden it seems to be crashing alot. Once every few days (and sometimes more regularly) it will just completely freeze and no keyboard commands work/the mouse wont move etc etc. My laptop is a fujitsu siemens amilo and runs vista. The only difference that I can think of between now when it is crashing and before is that I have moved to a new location. The only common program that is open when it crashes is firefox 3 which I have open pretty much constantly anyway. I am also confident that there are no viruses etc on my computer as i have scanned it several times with multiple antivirus softwares. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance. If you have any further questions I will answer them as soon as i can :)

That first bit made me laugh lots. Good point but a lvl 90 with 90 magic,defence and hitopints with 3k tickets is probably gonna be better at scoring than a lvl 120 with 50 tickets wearing full Bandos. Id say just wait to see which pros turn up and then let them take but score in small teams. Also tommy, get a seers ring because that gold ring is worthless. Maybe get a rune pick too?

Problem with this is we're gonna end up outnumbering RV and pros are gonna end up having to go on RV's team in order to play

You think there's a high chance anyone at RV will think to bring restores in? It'll just be "Zamg hax mai spellz ent wurkin" and loads of mages runnin around doing nothing (I've found culling worked at previous TET events :P) But yeah I know what you mean, I tend to stick to d spearing tbh :D

Very useful guide. The information you have given is in depth and all relevant and it is clear that you enjoy woodcutting which makes the guide all the more enjoyable to read. This is one of the best guides that I have read and would say that it should go in the AOW but I wanna try out eucalyptus and get me some monies before everyone starts doing it and the price drops :P 10/10. You won't need any spells other than ice ones although you could either raise your magic lvl by one to use ice blitz or use magic potions so you can cast it.

I thought you didn't cw properly anymore :o And ya a couple of 100P CW pros wouldnt go amiss i reckon :P Just don't let them come if any of them use RV ;) This makes me not wanna be busy for this event even more now :(

Why is it that we have to think about how much people respect getting 99 in a skill before getting it? Surely if you enjoy doing that skill, or enjoy the benefits of that skill; be that having higher defence so that you can have longer monster hunting trips or being able to make large amounts of money from high level runecrafting then that is all that counts? Also, alot of people get certain skillcapes because they look good and can help to complete the look of a new outfit. Either way, even though everyone knows that mining to 99 will take far longer and will be far harder than cooking to 99, they have both reached the highest possible level in their skill and surely this is a positive? I say this because I often hear people disrespecting those with cooking or fletching capes because they are seen as easy to obtain. Even though a 99 in either of these skills may be 'easy' the wearer of the cape is sure to have put time and effort into achieving it and so shouldnt be told that their achievement is any less than somebody else's.
