You didn't say in the video why you staked it, just that you decided to go staking. I did have a question though, you go into a duel that allows summoning and you didn't expect a titan? How exactly does that work, surely if someone is going to enter a summoning duel risking that amount of cash, they are going to use the biggest baddest monster they can summon from the depths of hell?

You were selling the hat on the RSOF, why did you end up staking it? My guess would be gambling addiction.

All I have to say is consider this: Would you rather your child got turned off of online gaming because of this incident, OR Becomes one of those people that does nothing with their lives but play games (like me) Believe me, I may know very little about parenting but I know plenty about throwing your life a way to gaming, she is much better off without Runescape. Just my opinion though.

I'm fairly certain if Jagex doesn't address the issue of botting soon, then all they will have playing their game will be botters. Then, with no-one to buy their gold the botters will leave. The apocalypse of Runescape, because Jagex didn't want to; or couldn't be bothered to deal with this very serious situation. It makes me sad :(

If this guy is serious then I think it shows the true extent of the bot problem. That people think its ok to goto the official forums and ask for help with their bots. #-o

I don't anything about programming, but how about instead of trying to prevent bots. Just find a way to check if a human or program is controlling a character, then ban it if it comes up program controlled? I know bot programs are written to imitate humans, but surely they still leave some kind of tell-tale trace?

If Jagex came out with a fool proof method of detecting and banning every single player that had ever used a bot. Then I feel that both increasing max XP and introducing more rewards similar to the skill cape, would be fantastic additions to the game. Not to mention if they managed this the hi-scores would look a lot more reasonable. :)
