  1. THIS. Don't listen to other bs on here that jsut say to go in there and push yourself. You will achieve almost NOTHING. You need a good diet (nutrition) and a good routine to start you off. Starting Strength is a great routine. You'll gain fat in a couple months that you're on it until you get no more gains. Then you can start a new routine and diet and add cardio and you'll be looking good for the summer. BUT KEEP LIFTING. To keep the muscle you must continue lifting and at least eating at maintenance.
  2. I suggest more on overall strength. Here's a two day split because you're lazy. Upper body/ Lower body Chest, Shoulders, Triceps. Bench or Dips Incline Bench (optional) OH Press Side Laterals Tricep Isolation Legs, Back, Biceps. Squat or Deadlifts Leg Press (optional) Pullups Rowing Lift Bicep Curl You can choose each exercise to be between 2-4 sets of 5-10 reps for your liking. If you can't do pullups then do the lat pull down machine. Tricep isolation is pretty much tricep extension or close grip bench. And do it maybe on Sunday and on Wednesday or Thursday. Eat 200-500 calories above maintenance, meat, milk, etc. And you can add 2 or 3 days of cardio where you run for 20min mild. Hope I helped. :D

  4. I'm 4 months into lifting and even though my strength is [cabbage] compared to you guys, I'm pretty happy. I got my bench up by 20 pounds and can do it for 3 x 5. Deadlifting I got it by by about 60-80 pounds, and squat by like 40 pounds lol. I'm starting a new 4 day split.   7. Well I finally just started an actual lifting routine 'bout 2 weeks ago and just started bulking this week. Goin for about 3500 cals a day lol. Hope I get a lot stronger on it. So far my stats are: Squat: 140 Bench Press: 50 Deadlift: 95 Power Clean: 65 Standing Military Press: 45 Height: 6'1" Weight: 135 lbs Age: 15 Body Type: Skinny Fat Pathetic, I know, but guess why people go to the gym? Well then...

Even though I haven't had any for like 6 years, it still tastes great. I'd buy it now, but it's like $45 plus tax. I don't have that kind of money! Well not until I get my summer time job next year. >.>
  10. Age - 15 Height - 6' 1 Weight - 134.5 Max Bench - the bar (45) Max Squat - 75-90 FINALLY got myself gym membership just yesterday. Now I'm going 5 days a week for the summer and planning to go 3-5 days a week for the school year.

  12. Because being 18 is still part of adolescence, while 21 is a couple years into young adulthood. And most likely you'll be less likely to give into peer pressure since 21 is after high school and most likely college.

  15. I can't believe all the people bashing this movie. My friend and I saw it yesterday and thought it was great. Although a few things were left unanswered, it was well worth the money and time.

  21. Oh my god me and my friend were playing football outside today and we were both talking about how it's been feeling like late fall this whole summer and for the past couple of months. Last year was great, warm temps already at Feb but now it's hardly ever been nice weather.

  25. I'd say he's still in that age where he doesn't really care about his life. You should wait till he hits an older age, THEN he'll realize what a lardass he must be. Happened to me. I matured and now I play a lot less games, and I'm also gonna start going to the gym everyday for summer with my friend. He needs time to realize in on his own.
