  1. You say for clan PKing? Druidic robes, no comparison.
  2. I would fight F2P, but without armour. 107 combat if you're interested
  3. Was 3 round fight, no armour, no magic, no corrupts, no overheads were the rules. I won two and troy won one but they were all very close! GF Troyus. BTW, Troyus is combat 96 and I'm 107
  4. I'm pretty sure you can't hit a 32 with R2H in F2P... The max is 31. If you want to see a 30, look down :P
  5. If you're looking for the fastest, DON'T do slayer. The SoS spiders are good but beef up your gear a little
  6. I could fight you too - I'm 107 combat, quite close to 108. Rules would be: - Melee only - No armour (helm, body, legs, shield) - No overheads - Potions allowed - I use swordies while you use lobsters? How's that? EDIT: F2P only BTW
  7. #-o A post truly worth siggying lol
  8. So, so true. I would also add that range/2h destroys any just about any tactic in no armoured fights
  9. Different stats do different things. If you have low attack, you'll still do fine against someone with low defence. But if you tried to use that low attack on someone in high defence with GOOD armor, you would fail miserably. Tell me, how does that relate to what I said? I said: - In no armour fights, strength comes out on top, no comparison - In full (rune) armour fights, strength STILL comes out on top, even against someone with a high attack. Maybe you didn't understand my example. I fought Y Guy, both using full rune and an inventory of tuna. I ran his food supply out and killed him with around 7-8 food still left. I KNOW this is only just one example but its not as if I only just beat him, there was a very clear margin. Or perhaps you forgot to read my post before responding to it. He had low defence\high attack - you had medium attack, low defence. His high attack didn't provide that much of an advantage, due to your low defence, but his low defence suffered terribly due to your high strength and medium attack. If you tried to face someone with high defence\medium strength\low attack, you would fail miserably with your defence. A balanced character would do the best in a variety of situations. On the contrary, I find the balanced characters do the worst. Pick out your average newbie -- they will have average stats yet they suck at PvP (even with good equipment). I think another example is in order :o I fought:Svander, stats 99/71/99 with my stats: 86/92/80 in a full armour deathmatch. I must say, I got rather lucky and beat him by ~5-10hp. If I tried again I'd probably lose but it would still be quite close. Still, at 5 combats lower than him and considering h e has 2 melee 99s and I have none, it just goes to show how overpowered strength is in combat. I would also love to hear any experiences that show that Strength is on par with Attack and Defence.
  10. Are you sure it doesn't degrade when it's in your invo and you're in combat?
  11. Useless? Serves no purpose? viewtopic.php?f=25&t=768856 Ok, maybe they aren't that great but for those who can afford it, it can add a new spice to PKing -- who would say no to 31s, longsword speed in F2P?
  12. I don't know, maybe under 80 or 85 attack for using veracs? It's been a while since I've been a member and bear in mind I did have bad gear like combat bracelet :S
  13. I guess it'll be easier finding a fight ... I don't see how RWT is a problem really. Number of players on the world won't affect anything. Its probably people whining that their 'home world' has been taken
  14. Yeah, its great and all but its really stupid how you called people nerds. Its a damn computer game, everyone who plays is therefore classified a nerd. Think about the irony

  16. Heh, when PKing with my clan I thought I saw you at the hillz :P
  17. Bear in mind, I am F2P and am referring to solely my F2P experiences I must agree, strength is FTW! In no armour fights there is no comparison really -- strength comes out on top and attack and defence are rendered useless because they are based around armour. Even in armour fights, strength seems to come out on top. I defeated Y Guy 4 Life who is 98 attack and low str/def with my medium atk/high str/low def in a full armour DM
  18. Oh I used to LOVE mole hunting back when I was a member. I never could make much money on it due to my lack of cash -- no godsword, no piety, no summoning. I did manage to make around 120k-ish per hour which is quite good. Few things: With 85 attack I found that solo dharoking just took forever as I hit too many 0s and the occasional 40s didn't really help that much. It meant I was forever chasing it round. In a team it is OK though. You seem to have completely underestimated the veracs set. Using the stab attack I used to hit amazingly well -- great for soloing but the low hits didn't make it too great for teaming. Sadly I can't say anything about the godsword methods as I could never try them although they look cool :D
  19. Argh!!! How many times? PURES DO NOT EQUAL PKERS! You are referring to PKers and calling them pures! I am a PKer but I am NOT a pure!
  20. Strength ammy for training/solo pvp -- the higher hits REALLY count. No one cares if you have +6 more slash defence in a no armour fight but they do care if you can get the higher hit which could result in the KO. With 86 attack and 93 strength I hardly ever hit 0s while training at the giant spiders so it only makes sense to wear the strength ammy. When warring as a clan its a different story all together. The defence and prayer bonuses of the power ammy really help and the strength bonus is really uneeded.
  21. Being a clan PKer, I keep druidic (for wars), GoP robes (for mage training/skilling/normal clan wars) and I also keep monks robes + blue wizard hat for PK trips deep into the wilderness although these double up as no armour gear when solo PKing. I also keep the regular rune, but with rune skirt as well as the legs for clan PKing (lighter), holy symbol (wars), rune mace (wars). With all this gear, I have to drop all my random event stuff to have around 55 of the 60 slots filled up.
  22. You obviously don't PK in any way, shape or form. Your RSN literally boasts that you pride in not PKing Yet you still call PK worlds fail? I call you fail.
  23. In my opinion players are divided, by the majority of the RS community, into two categories: skillers and PKers. You either skill or you PK. End of story, apparantly.
