  1. Eh, I still got PJed after this update. But, it was the F2P Bounty.. PJing still exists, atleast, in F2P. I didn't see any 1-itemers. Now I saw more no-itemers. Then I saw players who took training swords, normal staves, bronze swords, any kind of weapon which are considered to be 'nooby' weapons for high levels..well, these idiots just patrol the PvP area and waste people's food. I noticed that the amount of no-itemers and these idiots increased. lmao =D> Then I decided to bank my stuff and go for a walk (run) in the F2P PvP area. I checked Rimmington, and guess what, I found four players in the archer shop, they were 26king there. Two pairs, four players, 26king. I decided to tell them that 26kers fail hard..They started to harass me, and all of a sudden about two white dots appear on the minimap. Oh crap, my little journey lead one clan after me. Luckily, they could attack the 26kers too, and so I escaped.
  2. I agree with you man..why can't they just make it so that you cannot be attacked in 20 seconds if the previous attacker stopped attacking. This would kill PJing instantly.. but of course, Jagex has to make it so that more players suffer for these [bleep]ed up updates
  3. I'd just like to go Christian Bale Rant on every damn RWTer, 26ker, 1/3-itemer, PJer, and macroer. Now, the question Christian Bale asked: What the [bleep] were you doing? (a question for the idiots I stated above)
  4. Why does Jagex have the habit of changing everything which is in a fine state already. I'm not only talking about this update, but in general. Now, about this update.. Positive effects: A) 1-iteming will be reduced a lot, but not completely. 4-iteming will die, as you have auto-skull and no item prot.. B) Pjing will be reduced. C) Old time PKers enjoy this, you can have honour fights now. No sign of safety, only risk. D) 26king..well, you lose everything now, but in F2P..it's still the same, but in members, it's 76king. The same thing, but you lose everything when you die. The auto-skull doesn't really have an effect on this.. Neutral effects: A) Price drops. Godswords, D-claws..you name it. Some will be used in Clan Wars, bosses..and minigames, but prices will drop for the popular PVP weapons. Some like this, some do not. Negative effects: A) Fun fights get complicated, no protect items, auto skull..and you can't give the stuff back to your friend, as the damn trade limit blocks you from doing that. No DH fights..whip fights..oh well, I guess people start playing Clan Wars 1v1 and Duel Arena more..that's positive I think? B) 26king (F2P) & 76king (P2P)..honestly I don't care about this one, the only difference is you lose your stuff, no effect on 76king..please, we need to get rid of this 26king/76king thing. C) No protect item, it has always been around, in the old days too. Gets rid of 1-iteming and 4-iteming, but..still..Jagex has to come up with a better idea. I'm starting to hate this game even more, but I have stopped playing ages ago. Just visited to see how the riots were, and tested PvP again. I blame: Jagex for their [cabbage]ty solutions. 26kers (76kers now) for causing these updates. :x Merch clans for raising prices and lowering prices, it's like a freaking wave now, up & down, up & down..the economy was more stable back in the old days.. The [bleep]ing RWTers for screwing up the trade, Wilderness and Duel Arena. 1-itemers, 4-itemers, PJers & hit 'n runners for being a part of this update. You must be damn proud of yourself now. I know they're tactics to PK, but they're stupid. Hit 'n runners especially, you just made the prices of D claws go down.
  5. The picture with Mod Jouni and the other player are both Finnish, and yeah, Mod Jouni said it, there will be F2P quests coming.
  6. The problem with the PvP drops is that you get random loot from your enemy, not the exact loot he/she was wearing and carrying with him/her. This is the problem which is causing price drops and raises. In Bounty Hunter and the good old Wild, you could get all of the loot from your opponent. But in PvP worlds, you sometimes get more loot than you should, sometimes less.
  7. Indeed, but when the prepaid cards will be available in most countries with a lot of RS players (Sweden just got them, then there's Finland, Germany, Norway..etc), membership will be more easy to get.
  8. It's official then: This rant fails.
  9. Another foolish P2P fool. Care to even read my post I made, none of the stuff is P2P. Oh and Jagex seems to keep the easier P2P paying methods for the Americans..FOOL.
  10. Right. So the real question isn't "Should f2p get something tougher?", it's "Should f2p get better rewards for killing tough monsters?" Hey, I was stating that Revenants need slight increase in their loot value, 20-800 gp is a joke. But of course, lower level revenants would have weaker drops, and higher level revenants higher drops. This would actually work, then F2P would have a damn use for Loot/Coin-Share. High leveled Revs 90-120 would drop Rune SQs (not a common drop but not extremely rare), rune chainbodies (very rare), rune warhammers (rare), 8-18 nature, law and water runes (common), 11-19 adamant arrows (very common), noted adamant and coal ore (adamant 5..coal 10..this would make the smelting oven in the Wild useful, as it is near the Bounty Hunter bank, common), ruby and diamond amulets (uncommon), limpwurt roots noted (4 limps, common), earth and fire staves (common), and finally green d'hide bodies.. (uncommon) Mid-leveled Revs 60-90 would drop Rune Full Helms (rare), Adamant Platebodies and legs (uncommon), mithril arrows (8-15, common) and adamant arrows (5-9, uncommon), Rune Maces (rare), noted mithril and coal ore (mithril 4, coal 7, common), diamond rings and ruby rings (uncommon), ruby and emerald amulets (between common and uncommon), cosmic and air and death and law (9-14 common, deaths and laws in less numbers), blessed symbols (common), air staves (common), and finally green d'hide legs.. (uncommon) Low leveled Revs 20-50 would drop Adamant Chainbodies, warhammers and kiteshields (rare), Mithril Kiteshields and platelegs (uncommon), fire, air and chaos and law runes (common, laws and chaos runes in less numbers), noted steel bars, iron ore and iron bars (steel bars 3; uncommon. Iron ores 6; Common. Iron bars 4; Common.) Unstrung symbols (common), steel, iron and mithril arrows (9-15, mithril arrows in less numbers, common), maple shortbows (common), sapphire amulets and emerald rings (common) and finally studded bodies and green d'hide vambs (common)..
  11. I must've been high or very tired when I mistyped Magic is a support skill.
  12. Well the amount of GP i've had was around 200 coins. The loot needs tweaking..
  13. The funny thing is that you can smith Dragon Platebodies at level 92 but you need 99 to smith a damn Rune Platebody. Fix it.
  14. I care to disagree. I believe that (In F2P at least) Magic is not primarily used for combat, but instead used to supplement and make easier one's everyday goings in RS a bit easier. Take for example the most used magic in F2P, teleports, used simply to get from one place to another much faster, there's high alching; something used commonly to pro-long camping at monsters. Superheating ores isn't a terrible way to get low cost (or even profitable) mage and smithing experience. In fact, I would say that outside of Fist of Guthix, Magic is rarely used in combat at all. Also yes, it's true; training magic is F2P is quite useless past the level needed to High Alch and to teleport to all F2P locations. The only real purpose (in F2P) of training the magic skill to be be more effective when using it in combat, or when blocking against magical attacks. Do note that I am talking about Magic in F2P specifically. I respectfully disagree. Magic's main use is SUPPOSED to be combat, and it has a VERY VERY important side use, and that is to supplement and make easier everyone's everyday goings in RS. In recent years, however, magic has evolved (EDIT: devolved) such that the secondary use of it (though still important) has become like the main use, and also overshadowing it. This is due to the fact that f2p magic is useless AFTER lvl 50-60 combat and above and costs incredibly huge amounts of money for what it does. I think you mistook magic's main use to be to supplement and make easier everyone's everyday goings in RS. I don't blame you. It seems that the prevalent use for magic these days is to teleport, etc, not combat. Ehem. Magic is not a supporting skill, but anyways do the mage pures get any kind of loot these days? No of course not if you're a pure mage and haven't done any kind of quests..with your main you do get spare loot..But if you PK with a clan/team, Mages are asked to snare, teleblock, anything which prevents your enemy from doing specific actions. That's about it then. Magic is also the slowest of all classes. If Jagex WOULD tweak Magic so that you could hit much faster and accurate with spells when you achieve certain levels. Maybe you would get faster and accurate starting from 50-60, and it would be like the Runecrafting Multiple Essence table..2x, 2.5x etc. Rangers get much more loot because they are fast. Yew bows and Rune Arrows in F2P wouldn't hurt us rangers. And the mage would get the contemporary spell book (sees_all1's IDEA) and the accuracy-speed thing I suggested.
