  1. 52 prayer is all I need.
  2. This sounds like a bad idea. We don't actually need this. Anyone who wants armour that reduces damage clearly doesn't understand the mechanics of runescape combat. ALL armour reduces damage. When in combat from a defensive view point your defensive level dtermines whether u take the hit or dodge it (thus receiving a 0) After this its a matter of their strength/mage/range level and the relivant attack bonus (stab, slash, crush mage range) versus your defence bonuses. If they have 80 str and can do say 30 max hit with slash but only have +30 slash attack while you have +100 slash defence it calculates to that incoming hit having a -70 slash on it resulting in you taking less damage. Actually you don't understand it - by your logic, armor should lower max hit. Yet, wearing very high level armor I've taken monster's full max hits (and monsters have very low attack bonuses). Armor adds onto your defence in determining whether or not an attack hits... nothing affects how much damage an attack that has landed will do except the strength bonuses of the attacking player, and the divine/elysian shields. bobthesock is right here By your logic damage reducing armour needs to lower the max hit. This simply is not realistic and pointless with the current system in place. While armour does NOT lower in anyway the maximum you can be hit for by a monster it DOES affect the odds of being hit that hard. If you slash defence out weight their slash attack while they can still hit their max hit they are far more likely to hit a lower number eg if you have +20 slash def and they have 0 slash attack they culd stiull hit thier max of 40, but the odds would be skewed in your favour making 1 - 20 damage far more likely with 20+ becoming progressivly rarer up to the max hit of 40 which would have very long odds Where as if you had 0 slash def and they had +20 slash attack the odds would slide to make 1 - 20 far rarer and 20+ more common. Put simply armour does not negate their attack power, it just alters the odds of what you will get hit. Exactly. Their chance of damage is reduced. Their damage is not reduced. This is what I am saying.
  3. Both were good reads. Not really any point in making an article about pvp in a place like Tip.It though, most of the users here cannot comprehend why pkers dislike teleporters, you will get constant comments like 'oh, teleporting/1 iteming/general NH acts are all in the game jagex put them there to be used get over it'.
  4. So basically, Level 1 defence and full-torag would still get hit the same as without wearing any armour? I don't agree with that. Unless Jagex fully re-wrote the entire hitting system/damage system (which they didn't) when rs2 was made, because you could wear any armour at any defence at the start of rs1. I will look for the quote in a minute. If you look at people like 'Bonesaw pk' for example who is 20 defence and wears full corrupt statius (which needs 20 def but has defence bonuses of the 78 defence armour) you'll notice he gets hit a lot less. However, if someone has a max hit of 40, they can hit 40 on him. The armour will not reduce the max hit to 35, or 38, or any number. He can still hit a possible 40. This would be a lot harder, of course, then hitting on him when he wears just full mithril, but the damage the opponent can do will still be a max of 40. The damage is not reduced at all, it just becomes less frequent. So in answer of your question not only would level 1 defence torag's armour be a gift from god, it would stop people hitting as much as they would on say, monk robes, but it would not reduce their damage at all, only make it less frequent.

I do see where you're coming from, but Jagex have stated that no armour reduces damage (this was before the new shields which I believe do reduce damage).
  6. 99 summoning cannot be achieved at level 3 combat. actually with much money and exp lamps its not a problem ... It gives combat levels. Just go to a f2p world. Anyway, I forgot to mention the skills without 200m xp'ers yet. -HP -Prayer -Magic -Mining -Agility -Slayer -Farming -Runecrafting -Construction -Summoning Some of them are pretty close, and some of them are a long way off. We'll see. [/hide]P2P combat is what matters. Point is that you can be level 3 combat with a summoning skillcape. The world you're in isn't important. It would be pretty cool to see a level 3 in f2p with a summoning skillcape. Even a level 15 in p2p with a summoning skill cape would be impressive.
  7. Since you were not warning us of any bug.
  8. Several prayer books with different functions..Jagex could really do a lot with them. This sounds like a bad idea. We don't actually need this.
  9. Con level?
  10. Lol, if i'm woodcutting or something along them lines, and i'm not afking, I tend to speak to the other woodcutters or w/e. I guess i'm just a social RS player.
  11. I don't think the majority of people who play in low detail just happen to enjoy it more then high detail.
  12. what sort of prayer books? an actual prayer book that gives u prayer bonus or new prayers to use. New prayers to use.
  13. I have wanted this for so long.
  14. You mean..All this time..The monsters are not real? This is surely a stunning revelation. It may be hard to believe, but yes. They don't have intricate, dark souls that constantly wait to be slain while you study algebra at school. They are animated frames that collapse once they have been hit a certain number of times. They were likely made by a 29-year old bored graphics designer while he sipped on coffee and worried about his holiday plans. This..Is astounding..Have you approached the media with this yet? Now i'm sure even you can understand how it is a little bit different watching a boss monster die and killing it yourself. and before you say it, I know you're not physically killing it yourself.
  15. Please explain why that sounds like a stupid thread (Or are you saying you've been there and it actually is a stupid thread?), because it sounds like it has potential.
  16. They could balance the weapon out. Or even give new God Amulets instead? Like really good defence bonuses for saradomin, Strength for bandos, Ranged for Armadyl and Accuracy for Zamorak, for example.

  18. People that judge a game by its graphics don't know anything about computer games, and as such, their opinion doesn't matter. Runescape graphics own now anyway. I remember being in school and trying to defend RSC graphics.
  19. What requirements? Because I think we all know Jagex would never dare making a proper "high" level content update such as Level 90 weapons. Jagex are so confused, they actually class "70" as "high"... I think level 80. We aren't going to see level 90 weapons for a long long time yet. It kinda makes sense as well..I mean, all the weapons at like 75+ attack would be too powerful to be created by mortals. Godswords, even SC weapons (crafted by us, I know, but out of matter used by the Gods), not meant to be wielded by mortals because of their devastating power. A new level 80 God weapon would fit in nicely after a while I think.
  20. I reckon some new God items. Not just decorative God items, but useful ones.
