Wait a second..What are you guys talking about? If someone wants a skillcape then why the hell shouldn't they get a 99 just for the skill cape? So everyone on the top page of the highscores is an idiot for getting 99 in skills they dislike? Or for maxing out xp in skills that are 'easy' or 'buyable'? Sure, some skillcapes are indeed more respectable, with good reason, but that's no reason to not get a 99 in an easy skill if you want a skill cape, even if you dislike the skill. Insult people for buying an easy skill if you must, but don't insult them just for wanting a skill cape. Skill capes are sexy as hell.

The RSC community is tiny as opposed to RS2. Whenever I log onto an RSC world it's like a ghost town.

I use guides because I don't enjoy quests. I didn't decide this having never done a quest without using a guide. I tried a few quests freestyle and found it incredibly boring - so now I use guides. To each his own! Thanks for all the responses too BTW! I was a bit apprehensive about starting this topic as I had noticed that alot of people can get quite heated on the subject! My Nan always used to say that in all her 90+ years of life, the only true lesson she has learned is that the things you spend your life worrying about pretty much never happen. I keep taking that point on the chin recently. :) JiM I only do quests I need to do for a certain item, or access to an area. I haven't done quests for fun since RSC.

As long as it doesn't need summoning a pet reindeer would be cool.

I hate quests. i remember getting barrows gloves on a zerker pure, absolute nightmare.

i really hate how people attack grammar when they have nothing else to attack. i dont tell you to stop hitting 0-0 with your dds spec, do I? Also, (im talking about combat skills) everytime i train, why do people have to ask str lvl. I'm one of those people that think 99 def > 99 str. Whats the purpose of hitting high, if you cant back it up. People should care about att and def more, because they are the most underated combat skills. I've always said attack owns, but even I would love to see a 40 and a 0 as opposed to two 20's. Strength has the cool factor. And it's well earned.

The sticky for screenshots would be a good place.

I understand that alot of people see strength as a testament to power but what about the other forms of power? Intelligence? Cunning? Patience? Co-ordination? Secrecy? Do they count for nothing? And I mean..He isn't exactly one of the good guys..Why would he not plot and scheme lol.

75%, if not more, of people with fletching/cooking cape got 99 JUST for the cape (because it's so easy to do). 99 strength has a purpose, and is not as easy to get. I'm not saying it's extremely hard, but it takes more effort then cooking/fletching. Also a strength cape is an indicator of how powerful a player is. Fletching/cooking cape suggests you have too much time on your hands.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Zamorak = Mortal, Zaros = God, it's not surprising he needed a powerful artifact to do it. What is surprising is that he was strong enough to actually do it. Actually the staff killed him, not Zamorak. Zaros stumbled and staff stabbed him deeper. As for Zaros, he's not completely disappeared. He will be back. Zaros after weakened took hold of Zamoraks throat. And we still do not know how powerful Zaros was... But Zamorak does not want to speak his name, because Guthix has said that would revive/give power to Zaros...so he's afraid of Zaros i am assuming. Zamorak won their fight. Maybe to error instead of strength, but he won. Instead of being born one Zamorak BECAME a God from his own hard work and courage. Lol would you face a God in combat?

The FOG robes are satisfactory mage armour. Yes... but they degrade. This is annoying. Plus, some people loathe FOG. So that's just a wee bit unfair to them that the only pair of good mage robes come from a minigame. Well, FOG robes charged have the best mage bonus in f2p. That seems worth playing a game you loathe for. But if not the uncharged version has the second best mage bonus, so still worth purchasing from GE. Runecrafting robes give the third best mage bonus in f2p, and best bonus for pures, needing 50 rc.

Bit like runescape classic. Members could access member areas in f2p (if already in them).

Can't really judge if you have no experience doing it yourself. I personally would feel more mature in a costume than I would egging houses or blowing mailboxes up... that stuff is just childish. And you can't really compare Cosplay to dressing up for Halloween... They aren't the same thing just because both involve costumes. Edit: Nor are Halloween and New Years the same holiday... it makes no sense comparing those two, either. He's only a kid.

I think the thing that draws me to Zamorak the most is that he was once just a lowly mortal, and he earned his Godhood instead of being born with it. Even though Jagex said he was the most powerful mortal in existence, he was still mortal, and he beat a God in combat (Jagex said that Zaros was weakened by the staff but still had the power of a God).

Maybe you shouldn't be so smart and gain Defence. OT: My opinion is if you want to fight someone, and providing they have something to risk if you do kill them, just attack them. So I could be another noob scared to lose his armour? Nty.

erds That's what i said..What's your point..I didn't say X god so why are you bringing that up? yes you said a god of good and a god of evil which isnt correct at all. after that you said that you ment that they are good and bad gods which isnt correct too , in both ways you arent correct.
