I remember when this forum was massively against double posts of any kind... Wörk wörk wörk all the bloody time and still broke. How is this even possible?

Wish I could see the new season of Westworld somewhere... Also, looks like I can sell my bike already this week. Sweet, sweet cash and a car coming up.

I've got a proper 1st world problem: no idea which stopovers to make for my second round the world trip... Fiji, Samoa, New Caledonia or Tonga? Santiago or Buenos Aires or Rio? NY or LA? Unfortunately only got about a week and a half...

Direct war between US and Russia isn't gonna happen. Putin is too smart for that. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Russia invaded Ukraine in renewed forces (as Ukrainians just reported large gathering of Russian forces at their border) and tried further incursions in Middle East.

Sense of adventure. The EU is like the US to me, except smaller in area. I've been around there heaps, no border crossings or checks or anything, but it just gets old. For perspective, I visit like 5-6 different EU countries pretty much every year. I love travelling and NZ is so different, yet in some ways still similar. Also, I earn boatloads here. Or at least, when compared to back home.

Mom got told she has at best a couple of years, but probably way less to live... Some sort of mutation in cancer, due to which the doctors can't use the best medications... And I am half the globe away considering whether to apply for an extended work visa here... What do?

Did over a 1000 miles on my bike in 2 days, kinda dead now. Last 3,5h was in the dark on unfamiliar sketchy mountain road in pitch black, with heavy fog and roadworks on sequences and heavy rain all throughout. The road actually got a snow warning, but when I went through the temperature was barely, but still in the positive side. Got wet through 5 layers of clothes, of which was one layer "waterproof" and one layer "water resistant". Even blew in some water from between the seal and visor of my helmet. Oh well, that's American gear for ya.

Wow. Just... Wow. Is that full coverage or only your liability? Also, turns out my mum and my grandma both have late stages of cancer. I'm half the globe away. And broke.

Sunburnt, exhausted, tired, hungry... Working 14h days outside in the sun isn't easy.
  12. Can't get any closure before summer. Distances are way too large before that. I'm currently living in a small town of 3000 people... Not too many places to meet people here. Being broke doesn't help either.
  13. Hot bloody damn, just can't get this one girl out of my mind. The one I mentioned a few pages back, that I first met way back in 2014. She couldn't afford to visit me back then, so I haven't seen her in nearly a year, she deleted her instagram cause it took too much time and thus I haven't even seen a pic of her in months and somehow she is still on my thoughts. She is pretty much exactly 10k km's away from me and when I get home eventually she would still be 8k km's away. It makes it a bit hard to go out meeting people. Other issue is being alone in a foreign country where you know absolutely noone, but still. I used to go out and flirt with girls more even back when I had a girlfriend than I do now... I definitely don't want this turning into an obsession or something, but that's the way it looks right now. Hope it isn't too late. What do?

Pull the hair and lick the elbows of the examiner to be sure. Nah, I also failed the first time. Got a few hundred k's with my mum sitting on passenger seat for practice and it helped. I don't know how much it would help around there, but for us it is a LOT easier to pass the exams in more rural areas. First off, there isn't that much traffic and secondly the examinators seem more chill aswell. Might be cause they are not booked 24/7 for months at a time.

Stuck in a wee place called Kaikoura as my bike broke down near here. And I am signing the contract for a job here tomorrow. I got here on Tuesday.

Currently in the desert that was (still is?) the country where Noxx lived. Due to some Qatar airways penny-pinching and doucheness of the transfer agents I'm forced to spend 10 hours in the airport. Bloody cold in here, I have to wear my down jacket to get some shut-eye and nearly everyone else also has a blanket.

Even for high-end streaming and stuff 50 Mbps is more than good enough. Depending on provider, they might not be able to give you even that 24/7. And you can't actually use any higher bandwidth unless you download from Steam or sth like that. And if you do download all the time, I'm wondering how much storage room you have. My family back home have 6 Mbps per 4 people, where at least one is constantly on YT and others are playing. If he wants to watch 1080p,it starts lagging, otherwise it's all good.

If you don't pirate or download much, then 5 Mbps is enough for general daily use and 720p streaming. If you stream and download more, should look at 10 and up.

I was surprised by the amount of California Republic flags I saw when I visited LA in September. Wonder if it is the same with Texas flags down there?

My pleasure ;) Stereotypes have to have some sort of current or historical relevancy, otherwise there wouldn't be stereotypes. Meh, not so sure about Houston ever since the great flood, not familiar about how well it's been rebuilt, but I've only heard good stuff about Austin and would like to check it out in the future. Texas is a wild uncharted territory for me right now. Also, what happened with linking YT vids? What do I have to do to make it autoload?
  21. https://youtu.be/1wXG69uuGg4 Can't keep Misty out of my head... Not generally my kind of music, not that into indie rock, but it just caught me... Vocals are live, instruments prerecorded.

If you like to marry your cousin and shoot guns blackout drunk while driving. Come to think of it, I also just filled 10 years officially on TIF. Officially, cause I lurked around a few years before signing up. Time flies.
