I did not drink for 3 weeks, cause I did bad stuff while drunk and got a veto from my frat. And I honor my frat and the punishments I get. In other news, today was fun. Except the very end, where I could and should have been in the shoes of another guy, but that's a different story. Was epic.

The hangover is strong in this one.

I have never found the "joys" of smoking. Never had any trouble with it and I have tried. Tonight is gonna be fun. Barbecue and stuff, excellent weather and so on.
  4. Youtube HD Video - This video will cause high CPU usage, to view the video in a lower quality, please click . A simply amazing instrumental song by an Estonian band that was huge in the Soviet times. Huge in the whole Soviet Union, sold out arenas and thousands (remember, not everyone had record players in USSR) of records huge. I listen to it every once in a while. Also, it was used in a vodka commercial.

I still don't get what you guys mean. Saw aurora borealis for the first time tonight. Just arrived home at 10 PM, and without taking off my clothes yet my flatmate told me that the aurora are up. I was like, what the hell, I have never seen them in my life and we just took the car and picked up a girl aswell and drove 15 km's out of town to get out of the lights. They were [bleep]ing amazing. Also, by date tonight I can finally drink.

Went to school at 9.45 AM and arrived back home at 11.30 PM... Talk about a long day. And tomorrow comes around the same intensity. Or actually even worse, no breaks whatsoever in between. Also, 2 more days til I can finally drink again!

You make an interesting point, for some reason we all forgot Norway actually has mountains and stuff. We were thinking of taking a bus on the way though and not walking the whole thing, but to be honest the more I think about it the harder it seems to actually pull off. Are there even buses that ride around in that area? I don't really even know about buses, but I know that train tracks follow the main road, E6, pretty closely. There certainly are buses aswell, but I am uncertain about how often the bus stops are. In Norway there are pretty huge distances between villages and towns, specially compared to Central-Europe.

Had the table football tournament in our frat today. Got my first loss in the bloody final. And lost the finals. But went to a disco at a sorority. Was fun. Epicly so even. 4 more days.
  10. In other news: If I wasn't sick, I'd have kissed a girl tonight. Bloody [bleep]ing hell. Got her number today, then talked on the phone for one and three quarters of an hour, and in the evening danced and partied. Sent her home aswell even. [bleep] me.

Norway and Canada are really different. One is at a cold current, the other is at a warm current. Which means that yeah, in Norway weather can change within a moment and at the coast you can't trust forecasts for more than 1-2 days. You don't really get warm or sunny summers and you won't get really cold winters. Cause you just have rain all the time. Or snow, in winter. You won't walk 30 km's a day with full equipment in Norwegian mountains. And I can bet you a hundred bucks you won't make it from Oslo to Trondheim on foot in 2 weeks. EDIT: Also, tonight was pretty fun. Sauna for 3 hours and then a regular party. Well, besides the fact that my mate made me a lapdance... I did not like it. 5 more days.
  12. It is too bloody expensive. Played some Transistor. So [bleep]ing Beautiful. I especially loved the start. You don't even have mouse cursor... You just need to try. And those small flourishes... Hum <3

As a person who has lived in Norway for 10 summers and will be there next summer aswell (come visit me!), I think I am pretty qualified to answer that question, but first I'll have quite a bit of questions about your trek myself. First off, how long time do you have? Secondly, how much land do plan to cover in a day? Thirdly, do you have really-REALLY good equipment capable of handling everything? (I got stuck in a blizzard on 1st of August a few years ago) Fourth, which route are you taking? Fifth, how much money do you have? Food is bloody expensive there. Sixth, where the bloody [bleep] did you get the idea that walking 500 kilometres over mountains is a good idea?!?!?

Anyways, another party coming up already tomorrow and there it might happen that I am not coming home alone. And yet another one on Friday. Actually, Friday is a funny day, starting off with table football, then a disco at a sorority and then I promised to go to a 21+ club. Which is the best club in town. Well, there aren't young people, but still, the only one that is always packed and where people still find each other. Even though mostly a bit older people.

In case you don't remember, I have been sober for 2 weeks and must be for at least a week more. That happens when you screw up while drunk. Tonight was a LOT better than I expected. Even though it was Wednesday, found some chicks out, and danced.

Ewwwww, even here people notice. Awww, thanks man! Tonight is gonna be fun. Left house for the first time since Sunday, got myself sweaty and all at work and started feeling a lot better. So I am gonna have a party tonight \:D/
  17. I bought Transistor on the Steam sale. Haven't managed to make myself play it yet. I absolutely loved Bastion and maybe I am a bit afraid to be disappointed. Also, finished the Banner Saga. I get where you could come from with the battle system and stuff, but I always play this type of games on easy. I don't play it for challenging myself, I play for the emotion from the story and graphics. But the story ended abruptly. Definitely a cliffhanger for a sequel. Which has been announced.

My fat percentage is less than 10%. Sunflower seeds? It's a favourite Russian snack. And they include a lot of fat actually. And no time zone change for us yet. I hate being sick.

Board games are actually really fun, sometimes even preferable to a party, if the company is good. [bleep], I am sick. Like sick enough to pass school for the first time this year. EDIT: I meant ill. Fever, and common cold. Not too bad, but bad enough.

Hey, I've been sober over a week now! 10 days to go until I am free to drink again... Spent 6+ hours today baking cookies and buns for Women's day tomorrow. We'll be going on a surprise tour and visit all the sororities in town (there are 5 of them) and take them a big platter (or well, rather 2-3, cause we have so much) of our baked desserts. A comment by my fratmate who didn't bake and visited the frathouse only for a moment after tasting one coconut cookie and standing still, jaw dropped for 2 minutes: "Panties are gonna drop!" Guess we did pretty good.
  21. I don't mind the gameplay as much as I mind the empty time watching my caravan walk. It could be a bit faster. What would you change about the gameplay?
  22. The Banner Saga was 66% off on GoG, so decided to get it. I never got the vibe from videos or screenshots or anything, but it is a special, awesome and really goddamn pretty game.
  23. That's what happens when you try to post from a phone with spotty internet... And I meant not yet, I am not telling it off completely. But I should get some practice managing one girl before getting onto 2 at a time.

Last night was freaking epic. Sauna, good party, cheap booze (even though I was completely sober), many music, much dance. Felt really great to rock out. Never seen a few people so crazily funnily dancing, didn't even know it was in them.
  25. Well god damn. I think I have gotten to an identical twin situation. Where I like them both and I have gotten the idea that they both like me aswell. Now I may be wrong, but still asking either of them out would be hard, cause they are pretty much inseparable in addition to the fact that I could offend either of them. And right now I am definitely not the man to pick up twins at the same time.
