I have a bald spot in my beard right beneath my chin. It is about the size of a fingernail, or even a bit smaller, but god damn, it is annoying. I have a pretty awesome beard otherwise.

Nobody gives a [bleep] about high school. Crash and burn there, so you have it earlier and you can be more successful in college or uni.

Got KotOR and KotOR 2 on the 4th of May sale on Steam. Haven't gotten around to playing them yet, been kept busy with my Ironman Duchy of Mercia game of CK2. So far I am the emperor of both Germania and Britannia + Holy Roman Empire, with Kingdoms of Scotland, England, Ireland, Denmark, Saxony, Germany, France, Britannia, Italy, Bohemia, Poland, Pomerania as my Viceroyalties (I own kingdoms of Wales, Great Moravia and Mercia). Almost have the whole of Middle Francia and nearly have the whole Wendish Empire. Also have half of Sweden and the whole of Iceland. And I am still in 1150's. Oh, and I just won the Crusade for Portugal as I saved last time, so I have 50 holdings in my demesne that I have to somehow divide :D

I didn't say I was gonna give up alcohol completely. I said it would be okay to take one shot of vodka for a toast on someone's birthday or something or a glass of beer every once in a while when I met up with good friends. And I think I can take 1-2 glasses of craft beer for celebrating that victory and that next to some barbecue and sauna it ain't gonna hurt. It ain't gonna happen before Friday anyways.

So... We won that mother[bleep]ing basketball contest! After who knows how many years we finally took the victory again. Best out of 7 teams. What's best is that we were in the same group as the victor for last 3 years, in the group we won the team on overtime with 4 points and in the final we won them again with 1 [bleep]ing point. And I didn't mess up my knee! Even though I am dead as [bleep] now, it was 5 games after all... What's a bit bad now is that one alumnus promised each one of us in the team a case of craft beer and he promised to arrange a sauna party so that we can drink it aswell. Which makes it kinda hard to go on that no more drinking period...

I haven't really said that earlier. And I told you that I was gonna have one last party this weekend.

It was a bang end. Got home now. Went out Thursday evening. Tomorrow comes the big bball competition. We have to win it. And god damn, I am tired... From now on, no more late parties or alcohol.

So today is the really big day. Last party of the semester. 2 days of non-stop fun, work, alcohol, wok.

Why?

I was drunk when I wrote that. Still, I plan on getting through with it. Also, had a test today. Pretty certain I failed. [bleep]ing microscopes and their tens and tens of acronyms and slight differences that make all the difference. For example, how many different types of radiation can you get while bombarding a sample with electrons? What are the differences between SEM, E-SEM, HR-SEM, STM, AFM. And so on and on.

Hey, hey! I was just a whole weekend sober! But on a more serious note, for the past few days I have considered becoming fully sober. My lifestyle is getting me. I feel shitty really often, I can't sleep well, I can't eat well. My mood swings upside down at a moments notice. Long story short, that lifestyle is impacting my health and wellbeing. Also, most of the people who know me sometimes jokingly call me an alcoholic. And stories about my drinking have spread far past the boundaries of the current city I live in. And even the only [bleep]ing internet forum that I frequent has pretty much a running gag about me being drunk all the [bleep]ing time. So I have thought that now, with May 1st and Walpurg night before it, which is the biggest korp! party of the year, I start a (pretty much) sober life. I won't say no to one shot of vodka on a birthday, on independence day or on funerals and I won't say no to a single beer when I meet with good friends after a while, but being outside and partying until 6 AM 4 days a week is way too much. I have lived that life for nearly 2 years and it is done. I don't get that much enjoyment out of it anymore. I meet better people and I have grown out of it. I can be confident without liquid confidence. And I think I will save a lot of money with it aswell. And on that bombshell, I say goodbye, and good night.

Only positive side of me. If being near-constantly at a party and/or drunk is not positive.

"Bit soft" :D Priceless. I'm as far from these ideals as possible and I don't use a single men's beauty product. Yet I can't complain, cause I am in a relationship. Now.

Shadow of Mordor is epic. Spent a whole weekend at grandparents place. Superchill. No alcohol whatsoever. Did some work in the garden and whatnot.

This plan has one negative side. I see no alcohol.

I have gotten rejected for a hug. Granted, I had totally [bleep]ed up that time, but still. And the problem for me is, that I still think of another, for me now unreachable high. But now, come to think of it, I have made a move 6 times and I have gotten rejected thrice. That's quite a bit better than average, isn't it? And twice they have been so good, that other guys also want them and I have lost friendships because of it...

And I am gonna spend nearly whole of June out in the fields, getting real-world experience before I can conclude my semester...

God-[bleep]ing-Damn. Didn't expect that it would start off so intense. This time I really am in a pickle. Sent her off 5 PM today and gonna see her again tomorrow. She is in over her heels, I know that if I would make it public I'd break a few hearts... And yet I still also think of the "ex".

Note to self: hanging in bed with girl until 5 PM is not a good idea. I have not drinked since Thursday. Boris' graph was wrong. But probably gonna change it today. Even though I am broke, a mate owes me a favor and promised to get me enough liquor to get properly drunk.

Today, some pipe in our bathroom broke down. So badly and in so bad location that we have to take down a wall to fix it. And it all pours onto the apartment below us. So right now we can't use the bathroom. Luckily the toilet and kitchen have different outputs, otherwise we would be really screwed. But since it is a rental apartment, fixing it is gonna be a pickle. Since we need to deal with everything through our landlord.

I have a former classmate who lives in UAE. It is pretty liberal for (white) men, but conservative for women. Noxx lives in Qatar, methinks. Meanwhile, I live in a former Soviet country that has consecutively ranked higher than US in all sorts of freedom indexes (freedom of internet, press, equality in law enforcement, whatnot).
