In here, where tipping isn't normal, waiters and waitresses receive a proper wage, so tipping is not necessary (although for exceptional service people do leave some extra money usually).

Took the local mountain today. Nice 3 hour climb. Really much mosquitoes though, and we had no repellant. But yeah, finally, after 5 years here I have eventually hiked the closest mountain with it's 830 metres. During those 5 years I have taken hills and mountains from all over the world, but not the one in my backyard...

Today, I finally got the plane tickets. TO MOTHER[bleep]ING ICELAND! Lifelong dream come true, this autumn. Can't wait.

I had a few drinks with this student. Where the bloody [bleep] do such people come from? So hard-working, tidy, orderly. She is one year younger than I am. And she had never drank this much beer before. And that was like 100 cc's. She has lived a year in Oslo, and she has never been on a single night out in Oslo. She is my only contact to the outside world and tonight she only spoke and spoke and spoke. I have noticed her smiling nearly every time she looks at me and she touches me quite often on the shoulder or at the knee, when sitting, but I still can't tell if she is into me or if it is a cultural thing, since she is the forst foreigner I've thought about and I don't know how things are here. Also, while we spoke, she talked about me brothers and family quite a bit. (we all work there together) Even asked why they weren't there. I quite like her but I think I have given really mixed messages. Yet I don't know how to make clear my intentions and not offend or scare her somehow.

Gonna have a beer or two with the veterinary student tomorrow. She is my only contact to the outside world around here, it better go well. Wish me luck!

Apparently I am single in Norway. As for when I get back, the reply is "I don't know what future brings." I thought she was more into me than I was into her. Well, guess I can start messing with this veterinary student here then.

It's a surprise that it is so cheap. Last year, it was three times the price. And Indonesia was even better than I could've hoped for.

Holy. [bleep]ing. Shit. Just found out that Norwegian is flying to Iceland. For really cheap prices. Iceland is one of my dream countries, the other was Indonesia that I managed to visit in 2013. I just need a travelling companion with a drivers' license. And I might have gotten one. I must be dreaming, someone pinch me.

Boring af here. Internet is extremely limited and so I just use Messenger and chat with people if any are online. If not, well, nothing to do.

I'm in Norway, again. Been fun, going from 25 degrees to 3 degrees (Celsius here). Caught a cold. Had more action in the first days than in some summers. 7 calves, one emergency slaughter, 3 with broken feet... Luckily we have a hot veterinary student as a trainee 20 days this summer. Is fun.

Hot Girls Wanted. A seriously eye-opening (and good!) documentary. Have happened myself on these girls.

The E3 hype train has really started working again. The Last Guardian, Shenmue 3, Horizon, For Honor, even AC Syndicate looks good, much better than Unity. Even EA had some gems, new Battlefront and that [bleep]ing beautiful yarn game.

I'm not that much of an ass when drunk. I also tended to fall asleep anywhere. It's also not like I'd throw up or anything. Finally done with those field trips for the year. Picked up 10 kg's with three weeks. Me likey, now I look a bit more human.

I know it's an excuse :D But I am heading to sobriety for 2 months now anyway. Last bloody days in the country.

Been in the forest for 16 days now, with 2 nights back home inbetween. I said I am not gonna drink anymore, but it isn't possible to stay sober here. It is a tradition, with medicinal spirit and stuff. It has gone seriously quick. Interesting days with 7-8 hours of work and studying, boatloads of booze and food, good company and so on. Nearly paradise.

Bloody [bleep]ing hell. I have become known as a jerk and a douchebag. And now I am pleasantly surprising me girl nearly every time we meet, cause I am not a jerk and a douchebag. I didn't know I could get it that much over the top though. I managed to become the biggest fish in the local pond and apparently girls do dig that.

Apparently my country gets mentioned. We have no racism problems. Since black people make up like 0.001% of population. We have nearly no corruption. Since everything is controlled and checked and people are honest. But the issue of immigrants has split our country apart. The EU suggests we take care of some refugees from Syria and other countries. The public is against it. Why the [bleep] should we accept some muslims from Syria or Libya in our small country in the North when we can't properly support our own? The talk is about 1000 refugees. And even I think that this is too [bleep]ing much. We are a xenophobic, patriotic people who can only get along amongst ourselves when we are in love or if we have a common enemy. And I think I would also feel safer in Qatar than in the US. But I still feel safer than either of those in Norway and Estonia. We don't lock doors or anything.

I disagree with that only physical appearance gives boners. If you get an ok, average chick, but who'se personality, quirks and jokes you really dig, you also get boners. Or if you have been dry for a WHOLE LONG TIME, you get boners for nearly everyone.

Since I have started dating and stuff (since December) I have not been unhappy. And if you feel good, who gives a goddamn bloody [bleep]?

[bleep]ing epic field trip.

I have never even thought about that stuff so much. I am often out camping with family for a week or so and I'm not gonna [bleep] in my sleeping bag. And I don't feel like anything changes either, if I go a long time without.

Holy shit, I just found out we are going to overnight on some islands with canoes on this field trip! This field trip just got a whole lot more exciting, even though it was epic enough before already!
