Ok, that 17-19 thing is seriously harsh. Like, wtf harsh. Cause seriously, it is 16 age of consent here and 14 if the age difference is 4 years or less. And people do quite often have sex earlier and younger than that.
  2. Didn't it have something to do with starting a fire or sth?

Only the first one got the money, I was second with 450 points and a 100€ book store gift card... This time hoping it gets a bit better.

Today, national Jeopardy producer called me and asked if I want to take part in the show again. Apparently they were impressed with me being the pretty much youngest ever participant. Can't take part this season, filming's already on next week, yet I won't return to homeland until 9/11. Promised to call me again in January when next season filming starts.
  5. For around 10$ we have a family plan that has pretty much unlimited calls and texts for five phones and I have additional data, unlimited speed 4G, 1,5GB per month for ~7 bucks.

Whole day of AC: Rogue. I feel bad for not moving, but damn it is a good game. Improves on Black Flag on pretty much any aspect.
  7. Today, I also bought Injustice: Gods Among Us and Wolfenstein: The New Order for my PS3. I probably won't finish those games before next summer :D
  8. Got AC: Rogue (FINALLY) and Dead Souls 2 for PS3. Something tells me that they might be pretty much the last games I ever get on my PS3... So far haven't tried Dead Souls, but Rogue is epic.

Yes Boris, I was on this very same handsome rock called Kjeragbolten. Fjordruta isn't telling me anything, you need to be more specific. And are you renting a car or trying by public transport? Finally home...

Absolutely [bleep]ing exhausted. Any of you guys seen the picture of people on a rock hanging between two cliffs? I was there today. Scariest shit I have ever done in my life. The rock was round, slippery, it was windy, and it has to be jumped on on one foot while embracing a cliff wall. Plenty have fallen and since there is a 600-metre drop,if you fall, then chances of survival are pretty much nil.
  11. [bleep]ing too many tourists and partly Norwegian tourism board for stupidly hyping only a few spots so that those few spots get WAY too many traffic. Alsi, stupid tourists who have no idea how to drive or what to wear and have to call emergency helicopters to get them for having improper attire and/or equipment. Also, stupid tourists who think camper vans are the best rides ever on stupidly narrow mountain roads.

Distrated, where exactly are you planning to come in two months in Norway? Most of the tourist attractions are already closed and winter is coming. Also, PM me if you want ANY information about hiking in Norway, am in the middle of a weeklong hiking trip here right now and I have lived here for 11 summers now and besides the far north and Svalbard I have been pretty much everywhere. In other news, pretty epic trip. Gonna post some pics when I get to a computer aswell. But thought it was already past peak season at the touristy spots, which itis obviously not.

Got invited to Toronto and surrounding neighbourhood for next June. A large party hosted by expat Estonians there, and they also have organized stuff to do there for 2 weeks. If I manage to scratch together enough money (I hope most of the expenses will be paid by the hosts) I will definitely go. Will be epic, if I get there.

There was an interestng article on the Guardian a few days ago about the capitalistic system. It can't work anymore. In the Western world. Since technology has taken over so much jobs and wealth has gathered to so little people it is bound to collapse. In other news, the weather is absolutely shitty. 30 mm's or over an inch of rain today. And barely above freezing temperatures. Working with metals barehanded is not fun.

Doc Martens ain't no hiking boots. And why the heck should you have 2 pairs of hiking boots? Even I have only one pair. Most important thing about hiking boots, at least in the mountains, is to have pretty much rock-hard soles. You'll know after having been through 5-6 pairs of hiking boots (I think 2 pairs I grew out of and 3 pairs have simply fallen apart). Warm underwear is a life saver on hiking trips. Most universal clothing I have. Splitting the gear between two ain't that tough. But it is a lot about what you bring along, and whether you have to carry clean water with you or you can just refill anywhere, like I have done so in Norway and Estonia. I plan on going to Iceland for 12 days with a mate, living out of a backpack pretty much. But then again I have a lot of experience and pretty high-end, reliable and tested equipment.

First time backpacking ever and 5 days? Gonna be rough. You got proper shoes? The most important things are proper shoes and a proper backpack. Also, any in your company has earlier experience?

Did a "small" trip the last few days. Around 800 miles in 2 days. Managed to swim in the Atlantic, race in the mountains, tent at a salmon river, play snow fight... And it is summer here still.
  18. Started up Tinder a few days ago, only had one match in the middle of nowhere here and already get titty pics. Very nice titty pics. DAFUQ?!?!?!?!?

I love bikes and ice skating. Went hiking on a frozen marsh last winter, was pretty epic, could skate miles on end... I used to bike 20 miles to school and back during spring and autumn of last 2 years of high school.

Today, I found out that Tinder has a limit on likes in a day. Haven't used it since last summer, decided to fire it up, cause boring here.

RPG, what language barrier? Today, 3 more cows were shot. Our previous record was 2 cows during the whole summer and most summers we've had none shot here. Insane.

Today, A cow was shot here, We lost power in the middle of milking. Got a new udder infection. One cow will be shot on Friday, one more in about a week. We haven't had more than 2 shot in a summer before and we are at 2 already with 2 to come. Crazy [bleep]ing year in Norway.
  23. [bleep] texting. I have to rely on it, but you can never get any good out of it, except setting up meetings. Can only mess up stuff.

I love Black Flag. And would love to get AC: Rogue aswell. Today, nothing interesting.

Today, I tipped a cow. Well, I was not alone, it took 5 men + the veterinary to do it. The cow had something inside her stomach switched places so the we had to hold the cow on her back while the veterinary jumped on her with her knees. And as you can probably guess, a cow doesn't like being held on the back. And once managed to throw us all off and kick one guy in the chest in one swift motion. Also, another cow had an inch-long tube inside her teat for about a week. She had injured the teat and it had to be put in. And the teat got infected. It was pretty [bleep]ing gross. Daily work life in Norway.
