  1. i think i would like to see them add this to bal'lak at least, it could make him one of the strongest bosses in the game, unless your very good at luring that woudl actualy make bosses like bal'lak take skill
  2. hmm your right it was the icefiend, i just assumed all bosses were this way tbh i can see them doing this to gatestoning tho i wasnt aware that the icefiend had always been this way well with that out of the way perhaps....shuold they all be this way?
  3. was soloing a dungeon and tried gatestoning out with ggs, it said "you cannot teleport here" then i tried normal gs tele it says "you cannot teleport here" now this is going to serisouly up the number of deaths, or make people think twice about entering a boss the boss that this realy stands out for is bal'lak the pummler, thought as one of the eaier bosses since you can gatestone out and let his def go back to 0, but if you actualy have to kill bal'lak the way jagex intended he may be the hardest boss, even with good pool luring his def will be almost always at max making it neraly impossible to even hit. bal'lak just got harder bosses got harder deaths increasing this is definately going to cause some major changes to the bosses of dung, discuss

I'm fairly sure drumgun hasn't ever said he is going for 5B xp+, and it is real easy for you to say to go for something, but the reality is, barely a percentile of people in the world could realistically do that with zmi, and next to noone could ever do it with death runes(for money). Coupled with the fact that rc is actually terrible money, he would rather do frost dragons for the money, perhaps even use the bones himself. What a joke. I'm guessing you know best.... Judging by your stats, you have never actually killed a frost dragon... for once i gotta agree with xpx, theres mayn 4m/h methods such as frost dragons, bandos solo, arma solo, tds, small team ls corp (pays off in long run but takes a while).....heck even grenwalls are more moeny but hes alrady 200m hunt rc shuld be zmied at worst, zarfot is doing most of his rc off effigys which is quite smart
  6. Full Prometh? Thats pretty insane, and those numbers.. Did you pot? :mellow: Strong pot. :) Only tier 1 berserk ring though. dang so assuming you can hit 700 at t1 berserker, that means you could still hit about 8% higher, over 750 i think maul at totaly max can hit 800

  10. There is nothing that calculates your total xp in game. It's just numbers in hiscores, so the overall xp limit is 200M in all skills, meaning 5,000,000,000 atm, and will change if new skill comes out or 200m per skill limit is removed. Also, it's mildly unlikely that he got 23m exp since last night. And I'm not an expert on Java, but I'm pretty sure it can handle 64 bit integers... nope it can only handle 32 bit, magic number is 2.147b but thats in game, i dont think highscores run on java, its more spreadsheet based
  11. yes for the last week basicly every high lvl item crashede about 15% however the crash is now over and everythings gonna rise like crazy again so its all good
  12. Was that with turmoil and a strong melee? With both, I hit a 676 on shadow forger (using Prom 2h and tier 7 zerker) i caled the max, with blood neck, prom boots, prom guants, turm, strong melee, t9 zerker (t10 is unreasonable for 1%) it was a little over 800 i personaly hit a 589 without prayer on a pummler, no blood necklace and no turm, if i had turm it would have been a 770ish, then add blood, and im only 96 str and t7 zerker i switched spear and got a 2h, i dont regret it, id say theyre even but the whole rumor that zerker doesnt affect spear made me switch
  13. That's an absolutely pitiful sample size. Now if someone could try a few thousand hits between each, and calc the average in their heads, I could see it... Edit: Or I could just wait for a serious confirmation either way (if it's true it only works in aggressive stance they'll definitely change the tooltip). are you kidding me? your telling me that if your max hit is say...400 then after 100 hits youll have never hit within 20% of your max? thats just not possible to have 100 hits all under 320 with ur max at 400 i could come withing 20% of my max in 5-10 hits its just not hard to tell if your dmg went up by 20%, 10 hits would be a big enough sample size to determine and increase in higher max dmg also you dont have to calc the average, that doesnt matter to test if it works or not, just testing the max is all you need
  14. perhaps a brave soul could.....test it! do about 100 hits, see the max, lets say its 347 do 100 hits with berserker in us, lets say the max was 388....woohoo it works
  15. The combo ignores defense, and procs bonus damage like crazy. Downside is low base damage though. If I were in it's level range, I'd certainly go for the set. wait a sec ur telling me it ignores def entirely? dear god..... also confirmed by the #1 rs player, zerker does work on spears and he does notice his 1.2x dmg upgrade on his spear learned a few great tricks from the guy, best way to solo ferret, how to solo a lvl 500 shadow forger, how to do a 5 man lever set with 4 people hes pretty good but not as fast as some guys ive heard about, castle wars was still fastest key runner ive played with

  17. Exactly what i thought about the guy above you lol :roll: Yes, but much more slowly than a CR. With turmoil and extremes, ZS outshines CLS at stabbing. i often get the remark that "its only 1 speed faster" but thats quite a huge differance, that means it hits 1.25x faster, every 4 cls hits = 5 cr hits, any maxed player wont have problem hitting almost every time with 140 stab unles theyre fighting another maxed player
  18. Such as what? fishing blue crabs, cave morays, and maybe salve eels. Enchanting high level bstaffs is great runecrafting xp hunting of mastyx is also good if you leave traps and come back for em later. err, that's all for off the top of my head :) yup, every 9k coins = 100+ fast rc xp so if u have 200k at the end thats 2k xp on 1 quick inv, i always do that last after alching my stuff i might also add, thieveing those chests are always worth it tier 8 9 and 10 trees are about the same xp as mages/ivy but you get a log every 3 seoncds, so thats 2k fast xp herblore isnt *faster* than the outside world but i dont mind grabbing 1k herb xp off of all the high pots i get, lycos and winters grips i pick up for 5-10 pots at the end, some are 200+ xp per pot on those 2 so that might actualy save you 50k on herb per dung tons more but yea its fun skilling in a solo medium, althought its inferior dung xp/h
  19. I don't really think so, you only get a 7% bonus on exp compared to a small floor, and it takes about 10-15mins longer on average. You're forgetting the base experience is also higher for mediums compared to small a small rush is 3-4k xp in 6 mins a med solo rush is 8-10k xp in 20 mins, not worth it realy unless your doing what i like doing, skilling.....because some things down there are great xp, better than any xp in the outside world and not having a team rush me along lets me skill how i please, mediums have way more resources to use, asepcialy with my gatherers ring lvling up i can get 100k overall xp in about 35 mins, thats in normaly slow skills and its very enjoyable so i do solo meds occasionly for that reason
  20. 5k ea d bones are like 20gp/xp, and 13k ea frost bones are also 20gp/xp, so those wont be the prices. 4k ea d bones would be 15-16gp/xp, and 15k ea frosts 23-24gp/xp. But because frosts are like 700-1000k/h pray xp, I don't believe that they will go much under 30gp/xp yes but frost bones are much much faster xp, this is similar to how dbones are like 23:1 and dag bones are like 30:1, simply because theyre nearly double the xp/h, well frost bones are about 2.5x the xp/h if frost bones were 13kea dbones would be about 16-17:1 while frost were 20:1 at 13kea frost bones people would stil make 2-2.5m/h and the reason why high lvls would still like it is 1. its much easier than tds, can be afked with no stress 2. does not rely on luck, the money is guarunteed
  21. i personaly hope that frost drags can be made a slayer task but if they arent ill probably never kill one even if i never kill a single drag ill benifit form this update, this shuold make prayer cheaper and faster it could lower dbone prices, 1. theres now bone competition, 2 even if only high lvls kill these then it frees up existing spawns for lower lvls id say these bones could be 12k-15k ea and still be worth it to most people, which might make dbones 4-5kea
  22. im fine with it, bosses were too easy to begin with and on meds they should be harder since you have more time to prepare, gather food, and make gear if you choose

  24. Seriously, that guy is a beast himself. He has soloed the beast, got a sigil, put stupid limits on his kills and nwo killed it with flowers... GF JaGeX Flowers beat bronze dagger tbh. :P yup woox and shippo keep 1 upping each other flowers > bronze dagger > bronze spear ive been rooting for one of them to kill it with floweres for a year now, i think thats the only way to make jagex realise we need a harder boss....in fact it was shortly after jad was beat with flowers that they added corp so im realy realy hoping that if the best monster can be solod with the worst weapon, theyre gonna need a bigger monster
