pro is a little out of my price range, even with educational discount, whick i am not qualified for (gradeschool dang it!), I was thinking about movie studio hd, as premiere elemen is slow and crashes a lot, plus the 1.19 GB trial version took like 5 hours to download, and i didn't even try to download the 3.5gb addon package. Vegas has everything i need I think. Gimme some more opinions guys!

ok guys, I want a new video editor, and i was thinking adobe premiere elements. the top of my price range is about $80, so nothing to expensive. I am looking for... well, lets put it this way, 1 is beginner software, 10 is advanced, I'm looking in the 5-7 category. Quite a bit more than beginner, and a little less than professional, in an -$80 price range. when i use virtualdub to make make the gifs, and even when i open/save them with gimp, it makes them really slow, like 18fps, where camstudio records more like 200fps. I change it in virtualdub and it saves the same. HELP PLZ! Gif from gimp: it's slower than the actual emote. each frame is 5ms too! EDIT: Found the problem (i think) my camstudio was set for 200 fps, and gifs can't do more than around 30, so i just had to change the setting (i haven't looked at it in gimp yet though, so it's only a guess) ok, here's my new gif, and it's smoth and fast! amazing!

gimp has to have extra add-ons to open avi files, you might as well make it with virtual dub, it's easier. Also, gimp only allows you to delete 1 frame at a time, which is a huge pain. also, I'd seen this guide a long time ago, but couldn't find it, so i was thinking about trying to recreate it, but today I found it WOOHOO! Edit: Add camstudio to your video recorder, it's free and has a (free) codec for best quality

jungle potion should be grandmaster tbh took me like 2 hours clues get easier as you do them. I remember when I first did MM i paid the 200k to solve the puzzle. Now i can do puzzle boxes in under a minute generally I paid 200k to do puzzle box at the time i did the quest to, and now i can do them in under 5 minutes usually. and at that time, 200k was a lot for me, like i normally had like 300k in my bank at the time (sad times)

i don;t think they shut down reddragon, you just changed servers by accident. up in the address bar it will say "yourserver".jagex.com or somthing like that, just change the place were "yourserver" is (it's probably royalgarden) to reddragon after you log in.

so guys, in 3 days i've done a few things with linux, i'll list them in cause and effect order. found an article about Linux--> wanted to try a live CD ---> successfully burned/booted from livecd--> wanted to install it on a partition (make my computer a multiboot system--> shrunk my windows7 partition-->tried to install the puppy versions of linux on a partition--> it didn't work--> tried to install ubuntu--> it worked, but i decide i didn't like it--> deleted ubuntu partition--> made my computer unbootable because grub was my boot loader, and it had files in the ubuntu partion (oops)--> reinstalled ubuntu--> booted into windows 7--> needed recovery CD to remove grub boot manager--> didn't have windows 7 recovery CD--> get recovery CD ISO and burned it using my laptop (iso found here)--> booted into windows 7 recovery CD--> ran bootrec[Caution: Executable File] /fixmbr command from recovery CD command prompt--> command removed grub and made windows 7 boot manager default again--> booted into windows 7--> removed ubuntu partition--> rebooted to check that it worked (recovery CD at hand)--> it worked--> rejoiced--> made this cause/effect list. wow, learned a lot in this time, at least if i ever come across a boot problem again, I know how to fix it. also, just some definitions for non geeks (proud geek myself) Dual-Boot- A computer with two operating system (other Operating systems can be installed on a new Hard drive, or a partion) Multi-boot- same as Dual boot, but with more than 2 operating systems. some questions about my causes/effects (put your answers in the comments, in next entry, I'll put the answers) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q1:What command did i run to make windows boot manager default? That's a fantastic idea! To be honest this is what I thought it would originally be. Very interesting idea, it's like a Dwarf Cannon (which you can leave alone) with the a camera, the Orb, on it. Would it still have the ability to reach extreme angles, like moving higher than building? I never thought of the tripod! I might make a thread and have people sign/support it to send to jagex!

I was not expecting that, i was expecting a way to move the camera, and to talk to other people while using the orb. Also, i think the chat not showing while in orb mode, or an option for it would be a very good idea. Note to self: suggest these of RSOF

i noticed how well it worked for your true world map thread, in fact, i just looked at it a few minutes ago. Still, I hope they make it smoother and less laggy/jerky, and that they add a way to give instructions in the future.

With the new orb, wasn't one of the main things they said was it would make organizing videos easier, how can it though, when you can't talk while in orb mode, and everytime you leave orb mode to talk, it resets the location. Discuss [spoiler=gif of orb]
