It was his second season with them. Don't see atlanta being anywhere close to being best in the East. NJ has a rapidly approaching goalie dilemma but other than that sure.

Bad game. Not really suprised, probably resting now. Although, as an aside, Phil Kessel, the worst player on the leafs, talentless, and destined for the AHL next year sets a new high in assists and points this year, not to mention a personal record for goals as a leaf, all while playing with Tyler Bozak as his center.

You seem very confident Conklin will solve their problems...he was placed on waivers by STL and nobody took him. Once again, I don't believe we can know Gustavsson isn't good enough yet.

His first season really wasn't that bad though. Not great no, but not bad. The leafs have two other goalies in the farm who might be nhl calibre, they can fall back on one of those if Gustavsson fails. I'd just prefer to be sure this time around.

I agree, to an extent. Many players have terrible second seasons and come into their own in the third. That's why for cautions sake I'd prefer to not give up on players before three.
-
The Obligatory Ice Hockey Thread
My point is that that is NOT a good idea. Lets give Gustavsson a real chance, like we should have done with all the others.

Ok. The wise course of action is definitely to give up on a goalie who's played only 65 nhl games in his career. I don't know what team you cheer for but I doubt they do that with all their prospects.

True. I meant near the end. Hopefully Reimer/Gustavsson(if he's up to it) can split the #1 job next year. But yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to next season. Yeah, epic wins by the oilers haha.

Well, officially eliminated. At least they didn't give up.

Scam E-mails.
Unfortunately, people do fall for these things. For the most part, they aren't familiar with the dangers of the internet.

No, all I'm saying is use common sense. Posting one troll post will not get you banned. Repeatedly trolling after being warned multiple times for it will.

Canucks will be a treat to watch whoever they play methinks. Yeah, the leafs won't make the playoffs, but at this point it's more because buf/car/nyr are playing well then anything. The leafs won 6 of their last 7, I could see them winning all of the last three as well. But it wouldn't help anyway. If NYR beats BOS tonight, they can't catch up - and BUF can only get to 90. If BUF gets 90 we do beat them there though (we have the season series).

What I'm saying is that this is a case by case basis. It's not a black and white situation - we deal with it as it happens. If Jagex has never sated them to be against the rules, then we can hardly make them against our rules, can we? As for my previous statement, I meant there was no certain amount of trolling that's deemed acceptable. I never said that NO trolling was deemed acceptable, but once again it's not black and white.

Like I said, it's my personal opinion. That bug in no way benefited the player or harmed another player, so in my personal opinion I see nothing wrong with it. I never said I spoke for the staff as a whole, and I don't now. There's no set amount of trolling that's deemed "acceptable". Following the rules and not trolling at all will help you stay ban and warn free. I know that our administrators (not all of whom no longer play, by the way) carefully examine the rs rules whenever there is any accusation of rulebreaking and make a decision with integrity. If there is some case where you feel something has been done incorrectly, once again, pm an administrator.

So now, they won't be posting about bug abuse. Win - win. http://forum.tip.it/topic/285258-an-epic-glitch-that-has-sadly-just-been-patched/ I'd like to hear admins thoughts on this. - Good to see that you're not supporting bug abuse in any way. That was originally posted several months ago, so you can hardly expect us to take action on it now. Also, it's not abuse at the expense of anyone else, but that's just my personal opinion... As for the rest of your post, we don't deal with individual discipline in public. If you feel you've been wronged in some way, feel free to pm an admin.

Yeah, good win for the oil. Still can't see TO actually making it, but like I said before, at least it's fun to watch! Just came back from a marlies game, and I gotta say...the kaberle deal was a freaking steal for toronto. A first, a second, and Joe colbourne? Watched him today, played extremely well, skilled, big, tough...and a center. Exactly what the leafs need.

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
I have achieved my goal for spy - I now wear a vintage camera beard and magistrates mullet, both dyed lime green. I think I want to dye the beard hot pink now though.

Good win tonight. Kessel gets his 30th (third year in a row now, only 8 players currently active with 3 consecutive 30 or more goal seasons in a row)

So you're suggesting that A) We're here to enforce Jagex' rules? B) We should make rule changes without telling everyone about them?

Any reasonable evidence of glitching posted on the forums may be suitable for a ban. Direct evidence posted here is as good as admittance - it's evidence posted elsewhere that we can't act on.

So now, they won't be posting about bug abuse. Win - win. So instead they'll just carry on being the rule breakers they are but not posting it on tif. I see, that's heaps better. What do you suggest we do about it? Shall we start searching the rsof and relying on hearsay evidence to ban anyone who might possibly have botted?

Interesting idea, but they've already verified it was the victim writing the notes.

That's the kind of thing we're looking to crack down on - if evidence is posted here we can certainly take action (and will).
