I don't think it is possible to know which is rarer from a certain monster. But alot of monsters drop left halves and only 2 drop chains. So that makes chains rarer as a drop overall. -=Zappo=-

I think safety gloves lower your mage bonus by -2 (please tell me if this is wrong). Also Fire Giants are members so i think you mean Ice -=Zappo=-

All skill capes deserve equal respect because they are still all skill capes (including quest cape which is probably harder to get than some of the others) However, i think that ingame people see the capes differently. Eg a lvl 80 with 99 cooking cape (t) is looked down upon, as having a easy skill cape. However a lvl 80 with something like farming (ut)would be given alot of respect by players higher than them. I think the most respected cape depends on the level of the person wearing it. Eg a lvl 3 with a cape gets more respect than a lvl 100 with the same cape. Imo the most respected cape is slayer cape because of the effort needed to get it. -=Zappo=-
