The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I beg to differ. Genetic research should have provided minor immunities, so closer to a 90% mortality rate to me. The Australian army has entirely disbanded, but some defenses are still being manned. Also, Japan does not win the game because it used a MAD weapon, so screw off Retech. Also, Japan's army is probably reduced to nothing due to not having any family back home, and very little in the way of supplies. Australia launches 4/5 of the remaining ICBMs at the Japanese navy, and ANY large ships which may be around Japan, as a final sendoff to the army, and the rest are loaded with the same Anthrax samples from Japan's missiles and launched at random towns and cities in Scandinavia. (Way to [bleep] the game Retech.)

This is a [semi]-roleplaying forum, the more detail the better. You aren't a lich yet. I asked him as school today, he's mistaking halfling with half-elf. They all have different properties, and I've already told you the ones which you succeeded in identifying. I just ripped the name, although you already guessed the effect I wanted it to have. It's a mystril alloy. (Mystril is seriously hard stuff and has an insanely high melting point). I never stated what is was made out of, and shan't unless Icu decides to do some really in-depth research. Einherjar I belive has not been mentioned in Norse mythology, although it is Dusty you should ask. Though it looks like "Ein herjar" which is Nynorsk for "One is ravaging". Einherjar is in Norse mythology. I believe an Einherjar is a great warrior who was taken to the afterlife, or something along those lines. PS. Nexaduro, you say you like D&D, and then you follow it up with a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference. I think I have met my new best friend.

Eh, well, considering that I have the mother of all headaches, no. Unless it clears up. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to lie down.

Australia will help with Geothermal power, since it is clean energy and would lessen the damage done to the environment. I'm glad I researched genetics, which should stop cancer in it's tracks, but I'll be most affected by heatwaves for the moment, cancelling it out.

A trident is basically a spear, so why not. Retech's idea of reading the first and last 25 pages is a good plan.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Retech was planning an attack on me, so I have the right to be angry and kick up a fuss everytime something happens. Kind of.

(Need to go take a shower, and then after this roll, which should take me about half an hour.) Earth- You heal your arm. Umbra- Descending the tunnel, you notice a rusted sign, but fail to read it. Kemios- "Golems and such. Why'd you wanna know?" Jen- Decent quality. You create a string. You practise archery. +.2 archery. Hakon- (Blacksmith is in Ikana now, but regardless) "What in the blazes is this supposed ta' be? I can do it, but I don't want to know why you want somethin' like this. 1000 gold."
-

Earth- No. You fail to heal your arm. Kemios- "What what what!?" Hakon- You fail to make any improvements. Umbra- Begging doesn't work, but you got a 19, so you do that and get +.2 dark xp. Jen- You create a water enchanted bow, which acts just like a regular bow. The life crystal does nothing to affect the bow, and you fail to create a string. You create some ice arrows. +.2 ice.

The Australian-Russian exosuit project will not join with the Japan-Scandinavia one. I've said that several times, and you know how I say "Give everyone ubers, and they stop being ubers." A large chunk of my R&D budget is in the exosuits, but Australia has a much lower budget than Russia, so putting the same amount in isn't really fair. Plus, I basically gave you the already completed exosuit, now we're just improving it, so yeah.

Hakon- You design a very impractical early gun-type weapon. +.2 engineering. Earth- You heal your arm slightly. Jen- You dry the wood. Umbra- Doesn't work that way. You come across a tunnel. Kemios- He seems to be fiddling around with some metal contraption and a staff.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia states that it will do everything in it's power to stop Japan from taking South Korea again. Also, it would appreciate it if Russia didn't cut the exosuit research budget, since it is a joint project now. Huge cargo ships can wait.

Earth- You accidentily reduce your arm to bone. Umbra- You choke on your tongue and die. Choose xp to lose. (one'd) Jen- It's fairly small. You fell the tree. Kemios- The man seems to engrossed with what he is doing to pay attention to you. Hakon- Uh, yeah, you do that. +.1 force magic.

Rocco- The golem returns to it's position with it's sword against it's chest. Earth- You fail to animate anything, but create a bow. +.2 fletching. Umbra- The gelatinous cube explodes, spraying the area (And you) with acidic gel, dealing you horrendous damage and paralyzing you. Kemios- You find a clearing, and note a man sitting on the ground with his back to you. Around him are lumps of metal and strange contraptions. Hakon- Wut? Jen- It does little to help the tree, since it is already dead due to the snowstorm.

But the amount of energy required to do so would be impractical at best. Safe to say, reducing something to 5% of it's original size through compression is barely possible, and much less feasible with current technology.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You find a withered yew tree. Umbra- The cube breaks out of the prison and attacks, dealing minor damage by flinging acidic gel. Earth- You mine nothing.
-
Dungeoneering
Yeah yeah. Start.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Mather, take some plasticine, put it in a container, and then press the weight of several buildings on it. It wont compress past a certain point, and that point is definately not 5%. Probably more like 90%, max, when all the air is pressed out of it.

Australia tells Japan to screw off, because it does not need any more land/population. It also asks China and Russia to kindly ignore Japan's request.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
No, Retech. No more expansion, you said it yourself. Plus, North Korea will never join, as people repeatedly pointed out to me, I couldn't even station troops there to defend civilians, so what makes you think they'll hand over their independance on a silver platter?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
A few years and a heckton of money: You need to get materials up into space to build it as well. I'd say 6-8 years minimum.

Except dropping a pod full of soldiers to Earth will reduce them all to the consistancy of chunky salsa. And if you used jets or something to reduce the speed at which it falls, the fuel cost would be utterly horrendous. And you can forget parachutes as well, because something going down that quickly will utterly destroy the parachute and make it useless. Also, transporting them up there in the first place would be a huge, huge waste of fuel and time. TL;DR Drop pods are a bad idea.

Who's to say Grim wouldn't just stick with Switzerland instead of going through the hassle of switching? And I get the feeling Russia didn't really care about the COSS in the first place, and along with the Swiss and co. mission to mars, I think Russia will stay neutral. Victory is not guaranteed at all. Who's to say Rocco will fight for your side? Or any side, in fact?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Grim is being provided a lot of electricity by Switzerland, and I doubt Rocco has any reason to fight. Russia will probably stay neutral, as is the usual.
