Ares orders his minions to scout the nearby forests, and bring back anything of interest, either dead or alive, but alive if possible. Ares himself begins work on a sacrificial alter.
  2. Earth- You find nothing. Umbra- "The purpose the forge was built for. You may pass." Jen- You grow a large vine. +.2 nature. Rocco- The smith takes the material for a moment, examines it, before handing it back to you. "I can't work many magical materials, sorry." Hakon- "Not really, no."

Eh, why not. The overlord series is fun, aside from a few control issues. House: Biahorae Bastard surname: Thade Lair: Edgefall, a ruined castle in the heavily forested, mountainous region in the west. Leader: Ares Spouse: None Children: None Bastards: None Weapon: A scythe Leader's weapon's name: Death's Handmaiden Saying/motto: From dust we come, to dust we go. Symbol (on banners and such): A broken skull with a snake in it's eye socket Minion Master: Scathe Path: Destruction
  4. Umbra- "And you wish to use this forge to that end?" Hakon- (Yeah, smart move.) They appear unable to do so. Jen- You grow another flower, but it quickly dies again. +.1 nature. Rocco- "There is probably one in Ikana." Earth- You create a cloud of gas. +.1 Acid magic. Nexaduro- You train some more. +.1 Geomancy, +.1 sound. You fail to conjure the fire.
  5. Earth- You enter the dungeon and see Nex practising. Nexaduro- You practise your magic for a while. +.3 Geomancy, +.2 sound. Umbra- You are stopped by a massive sword slamming down in front of you. A large golem is standing by the door. "State your purpose." Jen- The blue flower withers and dies rather quickly. +.1 nature. Hakon- The prism shatters inside the device, and sprays bits of crystal about a meter in front of it. Rocco- The material appears to hum when you get close to it. It does not appear to have any other special properties.
  6. You did read it correctly. The stairs open up to reveal the tunnel, and you are in front of the stairs, which have closed, graniting access to the dungeon exit
  7. Earth- Kay. Umbra- The platform begins to descend. As it reaches it's destination, you note the mesh which you crashed through and died beforehand. Nexaduro- Door closed by itself. You see a keystone shaped hole embedded in one of the steps, seeing that it would probably open the tunnel back up. Hakon- The fletcher thanks you, before leaving. You go to the smith and pay him, giving him your description and plan, and he looks rather bewildered, but follows it anyway. He hands you the large metal object, which is rather heavy. Jen- You create both, though neither are of particularly outstanding quality. Rocco- The material seems to numb your hands as you touch it. It appears fairly regular in terms of strength and durability, but there is another quality to it that you can't quite put your finger on.
  8. Umbra- After a few minutes, a platform rises up from the depths. Earth- You kill the last skeleton. The rest are just wandering in the graveyard. Jen- Kay. Nexaduro- You trip over and make a lot of noise, so you begin to run, but note that the golems don't seem to be following you. The tunnel closes behind you, and a small keystone drops to the floor in front of you. It looks as if nobody can get to the chest without it. Hakon- The fletcher expects a discount for buying in bulk. He offers you 1000 gold.
  9. Okay, I'm done smashing cupboards with a large hammer. You can start.
  10. Okay, gimme 15 minutes to haul these cupboards out, and then I'm free for the night.
  11. Righto, when enough people are on, we can start.
  12. There is, but I usually start later on Friday's, since the sessions tend to go well past midnight.

Physical violence to fight off more physical violence. That isn't how people like that work. If they think they aren't a match for you, they come back with more friends. It's a Catch 22. You beat them, they bring backup and beat you harder, you let it go, you get beat. tl;dr - Some Most people are scumbags.

Nah, I like being able to choose.
  15. Because all three pollutants are at roughly stable level. Remove too much methane, everyone gets cancer and dies of the cold, remove to much vapour, everyone dies of heatstroke and starves. You're better off just leaving it alone.
  16. Not on tonight since I have astronomy club at 9:30, and that last for over an hour.
  17. Sounds awesome, but what are the other two game ideas?
  18. But without the chess style battles, you introduce an element of chance, which people will scream over.
  19. Last roll. Kemios- "Golems and constructs and stuff. Why?" Earth- You lead the skeletons away. Jen- The person continues moving towards you, saying nothing. Grim- You kill 4 of the skeletons. +.2 archery. Nexaduro- You attempt to deafen the figures, and then move into the tunnel. You suddenly hear the thuds of stone against stone, and see two golems wandering around a room with a chest in the middle, and realise that the creatures have no ears to deafen.
  20. Earth- You hit one of the skeletons and deal some damage. The skeletons attack you and deal some damage. You are bleeding quite badly. Can't tell you, sorry. Jen- The figure looks round, and drops down from the tree. He is wearing a long, black robe, with a cyan trim on it, and has an expressionless mask obscuring his face. He begins walking towards you, saying nothing. Nexaduro- You fail to enhance your hearing. You detect some figures moving around from within. +.2 sound. Kemios- You see several large metal body parts. The man sees you eyeing up his junk and yells at you. "That's my stuff!"
  21. Earth- You smash two of the skeletons. +.2 axes. Another one notices and runs towards you. The other skeleton attacks, dealing some minor damage. Jen- The figure does not seem to aknowledge your existance, so it stays there. You craft a coat. +.3 tailoring. Nexaduro- I roll for stuff like that to see if you get xp. You got a 4, so yeah. You see the exit atop a flight of stairs, but the stairs seem to have shifted downwards, revealing another tunnel.
  22. Earth- Can't tell ya. You swing and miss. The two skeletons hit you for some minor damage. Jen- You notice a masked figure lying lazily in a tree, staring into the sky. Nexaduro- The room is wide and square, with a door at the northern side. There are several pillars supporting the roof.
  23. Earth- You rolled low. You hit the skeletons, but it does very little. The skeletons both miss you, and another one notices the fight and starts running towards you. Nexaduro- You notice no immediate danger, and there are no further noises. You enchant the staff with sound. +.2 sound. Jen- You clumsily kill the bear.
  24. Australia splits into hundereds of small territories and is now made up of small tribes of modern nomads.
