Nuh-uh, blackguards need at least 4 ranks in hide skill. And any evil alignment. Heheh. What game are you referring to? Besides, I am evil. :P D&D. Blackguard is a prestige class. Sorta like evil paladins.

Ares sends 20 golems to smash the defending force, and retrieve any loot, along with the miner hive. Ares has his personal human smith create a masterworked steel arm, to replace his real one.

Ares sends his slaves to mine more gems, meanwhile, the minions begin painting the Dark Engine black with crimson trim. He turns 10 brown minions into smiths and orders them to create a flail which the engine can use.

Ares orders the smiths to continue until they get it right.

Fair enough Earth. I'm still going to create my huge engine of annihilation, so I can smash stuffs.

Ares chooses 3 mana upgrades. He then instructs the minions to begin construction of a golem body which is several stories tall, making sure they leave a space in the chest area for Ares to control it from. When they finish, gems will be embedded into it, 7 into physical defense, 8 into regeneration, 7 into magical resistance. The golems and slaves all search for more iron to continue building the goliath.

Ares turns 50 of the prisoners into smith minions, and the other 40 into regulars, who will build a very large underground chamber with forging equipment in. 15 golems go to retrieve the smelting hive. The mindslaves will go and gather more metal.
  12. Last rawl. Umbra- No, the guard was telling you that you should leave, and that he could see you were just guessing. Earth- You find a large metal door towards the back of the cave. Grim- You shoddily heal yourself, before going to the entrance to find a huge hole smashed into it. Jen- You wake up. Igos- "Eehh...I think that could be arranged. What could you provide us with in payment?"

Ares attempts to create a golem shell which is controlled from the inside by a minion, who cannot be removed in any way. Ares sets the golems on the next settlement. He sends out a small team of minions to scout the large city.
  14. Earth- You kill the remaining golem. +.2 axes. Umbra- "Pah, guesswork, move along." Grim- You wake up. (Regen necklaces only heal you slightly.) Jen- As you poke the wall, you fall through it. You are now drifting through what appears to be empty space. You can see the large box you were just in, and a door nearby. Igos- The guard squints at you "Move along, heretic, before we have to kill you." Suddenly, a man comes running from behind shouting "Wait, wait!" at you. It appears to be one of the merchents, who noticed the commotion. Kemios- You create a halberd, and then practise with it for a while. +.2 poleaxes, +.1 smithing.
  15. Seraphi replied to Earth's topic in Falador Tavern
I fail to see how creating an army of golems is anything like dungeoneering. Golems appear in pretty much every RPG game out there, too. What if a new player joins and I just smash them with my regular minions? It's the same basic process. I like constructs better than outsiders <_< Ares uses the iron to create 10 more golems, before sending them to raze another settlement, and loot it, and bring back the prisoners.
  16. Kemios- Out of what? You have quite a lot of materials. Umbra- "And the password is...?" Jen- Nothing happens. Nexaduro- You hit the golem, destroying it. The life crystal falls out. +.1 poleaxe (Yeah, it applies to anything attached to a pole really.) Paul- (You're the mayor of a rather large settlement now, and the population knows you practise magic. Word has spread.) Grim- You are currently in the sky and unable to do so. The Malacoda jumps up, and knocks you flying, leaving you near death and unconcious, before running in the opposite direction. Earth- Getting that close to the golem flailing on the ground seems rather dangerous.

But why? The little imp minions are sort of lame, if I'm honest, and I'd much rather use them as smiths, and have my main forces made of iron goliaths, and nothing else... Ares creates golem shells, ready to be animated if any fall in battle. The attacking force kills the bear, before trying to get the rouge golems back into servitude, or dismantling them. Slaves continue mining.
  18. Jen- Nothing happens. Earth- You fail to remove the crystals. Grim- The demon continues it's near-suicidal rampage, despite having been stabbed in the thigh by the lance. You stab it in the shoulder with the silver sword, but it still continues. Before you get a chance to take an arrow out, you are knocked skywards by the halberd. +.1 swordsmanship. Igos- The caster guards recognize you, and deny you access due to being a magic user. Umbra- The guards laugh, before asking who you are. Nexaduro- You smash the legs of one golem, the other breaks free and attacks, hitting you for some minor damage. +.2 poleaxe.
  19. Seraphi replied to Earth's topic in Falador Tavern
Ares builds 5 more golems. His attack force kills the bear, and then goes to the rouge golems and insists that they return to their servitude, or be dismantled. Ares sets up a workshop in a production line style, and then tasks the smith with creating a continuing stream of golems. He sends the idle slaves to gather minerals.
  20. Earth- Your attempt fails. You can't throw a lance, since the handle is only a few feet long. (Not the answer) Umbra- There are no side entrances. Nexaduro- You fuse their feet to the floor, but they are mindless. (There aren't many intelligent golems) +.1 geomancy. Grim- The daemon prince tries to block the malacoda, but is swept out of the way. You heal yourself, but the demon quickly makes another leap forwards, and it luckily misses. You fire a beam of fire at it, which deals some damage, but it seems to be in such a berserk rage that it doesn't even notice that it is wounded. +.1 fire, +.2 healing. Jen- You shut your eyes, but you can still see the room for some reason. (Can't say.) Hakon- Your attempt fails.

Ares builds more golems, infusing them with the life force of the prisoners. He sends four golems to guard the settlement that was previously destroyed, with instructions to kill and loot any humans which arrive. He then sends his original assualt force to the next settlement.
  22. Earth- You enter a large room. You see two small golems, but neither of them seem big enough to be causing the tremors. Grim- The Malacoda resists your magic, and interrupts your heal with a slash across the shoulder. You can't draw the bowstring, but you throw several knives at it, dealing some damage. Umbra- You follow them to a large building, and as they enter, two guards come out and stand by the entrance. Jen- Nothing happens. Every step you take, the room seems to invert the colours, distorting your vision and giving you a headache. Hakon- You make the bullets straighter, but it does not appear to help. You think that the smithing techniques at the moment cannot create a gun barrel much finer than this. Nexaduro- You sense a lot of crashing below the current room.
  23. Seraphi replied to Earth's topic in Falador Tavern
Ares builds 5 more golems to guard the castle, before sending his minions and 3 of his golems to raze one of the small settlements, looting it, and bringing all of the prisoners back.
  24. Seraphi replied to Earth's topic in Falador Tavern
Awesome. Ares attempts to create more golems, using the lifeforce of his slaves to power them. The smiths continue to build golem parts. His scouting force looks for a human settlement.
  25. Umbra- They are all huddled around a table, so you can't see much, or hear much. After a while, they get up and leave the tavern. Earth- You reach the cave, and hear some minor tremors below. Nexaduro- You revert the robe to normal, losing the water robe in the process. You reach Earth's location. Hakon- The gun seems to fire slightly in a seemingly random direction, making calibrating it difficult. You do have some success though. Grim- The arrows miss completely. The Malacoda leaps at you and swings again, shattering the shield, and badly damaging your arm. You try to swing, but miss.
