The Cyber-Duels
I look downwards before reapdily flying up and bombarding the arena with the powerful laser.
-
The Cyber-Duels
I have no feet. I'm this thing. I also can't really fall. [hide=Guilty Spark][/hide] I begin destroying every single brick on the arena, using the medium laser.
-
The Cyber-Duels
I fire a strong laser at a random section of brick wall, before switching back to the weak laser to destroy projectiles. I scan the area around me to prevent sneak attacks.
-
The Cyber-Duels
I fly towards and scan the source of the bricks, switching to weak laser to block any other oncoming projectiles.
-
The Cyber-Duels
The monitor has no head, it's just a hovering orb, but okay. I try to stop malfunctioning.
-
The Cyber-Duels
I move slowly into the centre of the arena, switching laser to medium setting.
-
The Cyber-Duels
I scan the arena for movement. Also, this looks like it could be popular, and doing dungeoneering every single day gets rather tiring. Do you mind alternating?

And causes you to die due to lack of protein? Guilty Spark 011 ready to go.

The Cyber-Duels
7 inches isn't that much... Regardless, I'll reduce it to whatever gives me a decent (30-35 MPH~) speed.

You'll have to work that one out yourself.

The Cyber-Duels
It has several settings, one is excessivly destructive, one is medium, and the other is fairly weak. It has like 7 inches of titanium-tungsten armour on it, with an iridium coating for no reason other than getting to use the word 'Iridium'

Hrm. Which material have you encountered before which is soft and a pale green? Also, Mather, you overestimate your weaponry. And most golems can't overload, since, y'know, they're animated with magic.

The Cyber-Duels
I'm going to be a monitor from Halo. Not Guilty Spark, but another one. I'm really small and have a surprising amount of armour, plus a laser. And the ability to float.

Halo: Combat Evolved (PC)
There is a world of difference between the '4' major FPS games. Halo, Battlefield, COD, and Source games (specifically Counter-Strike). It's the 'feel' in the way they're played. I haven't played Halo that much so I can't really comment on it, but I have good experience with the other games. Starting with Source, I've clocked over 1000 hours on CSS and the same amount on TF2 as well. The games are simply fun, there's something satisfying in their simplistic nature. Valve just made an fps, there is a small backstory but what they really made was a game where you load up, shoot your opponents and that's that. CSS doesn't feel very atmospheric, but there is a huge balance in it - no gun is really the clear best, just some are easier to use (M4, AK) - etc. It's just good. COD is lame. Really lame. It was quite cool, then the 360 got released and Infinity Ward smelled money. COD4 was undoubtedly one of the best games of whenever it was released. But it didn't have much of a feel. You played through the same maps which.. are ok, but they're not amazing. They don't have great routes you can take which make you feel like a proper 'soldier'. The gameplay is so repetitive because every in COD is predefined. Simply; playing multiplayer COD4 gets old fast. In my opinion. Battlefield is an EA game. Sounds crap already, huh? BF2 is still played by thousands today, and it's older than COD4 (I'm pretty sure). There isn't really anything special about BF2 in my eyes. It's a fun game, but it's not that forgiving and it's "feel" is quite average. However. Four days ago, Battlefield : Bad company 2 was released. And honestly, best "feel" out of any FPS ever. Ever. If you thought COD6 was gonna set the benchmark, you were wrong. It's this thing. I'd play it now, but some (moral) part of me feels that skipping school to play games is just lame. It's the first game I've ever played where the maps feel like a warzone, and not a multiplayer arena like the ones in COD and even Source games. There's dust, buildings falling down, roofs shot out, walls with holes in. And it's balanced - properly. You might not agree with my syonopsis (?) of each game, but I hope I got the point across - every FPS has a very distinct feel which sets it apart from it's competitors.[/hide] If that's the case, obviously my FPS senses aren't refined enough to tell. Sure, the games feel different, but I don't see any clear winners or losers, and I enjoy all of them pretty much equally. Whether that is a curse or a blessing, I don't know. (Yeah, from what I've seen of B:BC2, it does look pretty awesome)

(Last roll. Nex, if you're going to let me know what you think of the program, I'd appreciate it if you told me before I leave) Earth- You start to scramble up it's leg, but it grabs you and throws you across the room, heavily damaging you. Umbra- A nearby hobo agrees to do it. Hakon- (You can't deanimate a golem that easily. That'd be like shooting a person and saying it cancelled out their life force. Also, magekiller restricts magic, it doesn't stop it. Unless you create a full body suit of it, of course.) You hit the golem's head and dent it, but it seems rather firm on it's shoulders. +.2 blunt. Nexaduro- You launch a moderately powerful blast of sound at the golem and deal some damage to it. +.2 sound. You don't have the power required to reverse the effects of Einherjarium. The golem launches what appears to be a beam of metal out of one of it's hands, impacting Nexaduro and shattering his ice armour. You take some slightly heavy damage. The metal then seems to fade from existance, and the golem continues to repeair itself.

Earth- Your spear runs right through it's arm, but it does not seem at all fazed by the injury. +.3 spears Umbra- "Nope sorry. I'm out of here." Nexaduro- The golem's shoulders are heavily dented by the attack, but it quickly picks up the rock and throws it at you, dealing some minor damage. You throw your poleaxe at the golem, but the golem blocks it with it's wrist and it snaps in two. +.2 geomancy. Hakon- The bolt hits the golem and embeds itself in it's leg. +.2 archery. The golem fires a spray of needles all around the room, dealing very minor damage to everyone. Suddenly, the dents and holes in it begin to repair themselves.

Earth- The golem stares for a second, before it's "Eyes" turn blue, and it begins firing a storm of needles in your direction. You take some moderate damage from the attack. Hakon- Kay. Umbra- "Too little gold for too much risk." Nexaduro- You create some temporary armour. +.2 ice. (I get the feeling you're ignoring what I say about that thing. Do you not like the program, or are you still looking into it?)

Another forum-goer. He doesn't usually come in falador tavern though. Earth- You create a sphere of light, and reveal a rather large golem with a greenish reflective surface. +.1 light. Hakon- You load the 3 chambers and descend the stairs. Nexaduro- You create a barrier, and create a shield for Earth, but fail to reinforce your robe. +.1 geomancy, +.1 sound, +.1 water. (Have you checked that thing I sent you yet? It's a nice little program, really.) Umbra- "Paying me how much to do what?"
-
Dungeoneering
Earth- You descend the stairs into a dark room, there is a large crashing sound from the far side. (Try downloading it and playing it on something else.) Nexaduro- You follow earth, and you detect a large figure in the darkness. Hakon- You create 11 granite bullets. During the process of making the electrical prisms, your magic appears to fail, and you are unable to create any for quite a while (till tommorow)
-
Dungeoneering
Earth- There is none. Nexaduro- You succeed, and the doors fall to the ground. There are some spiral stairs behind it. +.2 geomancy. Hakon- You make two granite bullets and 5 electric prisms. Jen- The prson turns his head to you, but says nothing.
-
Dungeoneering
Hakon- You create seven granite bullets, and accidentily electrocute yourself. +.1 geomancy. Earth- The door is tough, and you can't push it open. Umbra- 20 minutes. Nexaduro- You dent the door, but it doesn't break. Jen- You realise the person never actually left the tree he was sitting in, and that you hallucinated that. You create a shield.

See, if I was a mod like Archi, I'd have just hidden the last 15 or so posts. Hehe. Still. It'll start in half an hour, it'll only last for maybe an hour or an hour and a half tonight though.

Yes, but you aren't going to. As I said, if people don't pay attention to things, it is not my fault.
