Dungeoneering
Eh, sorry Pies, but it *is* 01:30 in the morning here, and I find that the more tired I get, the more tempting it is to throw another disgustingly powerful enemy at people.

OVERLORDING!
Ares recalls his scout party. He sends the smiths assistants to gather more metal.

(Last roll due to extreme boredom and wanting to play NWN some more.) Jen & Grim "You may pass" Earth- You fail to raise any skeletons. Umbra- You wrap the sheet around you and use it as a cloak. Nexaduro- You arrive at the base of the mountain. (It's +1.)
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares instructs the minions to asminister the medicine to the injured minions. He then sends them out with 2 slaves to look around again.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares cautiously checks what the slaves bought back. He sends the injured minion to the infirmary, too. Ares sends his other minions to go and look for plants and herbs in the forest.

Earth- You place the life crystal in the alcove, and go to Exile graveyard. Grim & Jen- You go through the door, but are stopped when a huge sword slams down in front of you. An iron golem is guarding the forge. "State your purpose". Umbra- "You can have a sheet of cotton, if that's what you mean? Fine cloaks aren't to be wasted on the semi-incompetant." Nexaduro- You remove the axe head. You don't seem to understand anything about the metal, it just seems to have a healing effect. (It is fair game, but would be frowned upon by the others I guess.)

OVERLORDING!
(That makes 15 slaves, correct?) Ares assigns 10 of the slaves to guard duty, positioned in the main room, by the smiths door, and by the exit. Two of them are to serve the smith, and the other 3 are to go with two of the minions and scout for something interesting, and then bring it back to me. Ares asks the smith if he can create a platerobe, and gives him a skull to graft to one of the shoulders.

Nexaduro- I gave you .2 xp. The cloak appears to attune to you, granting a bonus when using sound magic. Earth- You cut a small alcove. Jen- You arrive at the bottom, and note a pool of lava below the mesh floor. There is a large door in front of you. Hakon- With what granite? Podeiden- How do you want to try to get to the tower? Umbra- "I need you to investigate a group in the main city, I don't know where they are, but they seem to just be a simple cult. I don't want them killed right away though. Just ask around for a snake cult."

OVERLORDING!
Ares attempts to turn them into slaves as well. He sends the injured minion to the infirmary, , then telling the mindless ones to guard the main room. He goes down to the cells and attempts to wipe all of their minds, one by one. He then tries to take the lifeforce from four of them and summon more minions.

Grim- You descend the tunnel and pull the lever. A platform rises up. Nexaduro- Inside the chest is a cloak, which you take. You enchant poseidon's trident with minor earth magic. +.1 geo. Earth- You create a minor regenerative necklace. +.2 smithing. Jen- You note a platform rising. Hakon- "Not really. I see what you are trying to do though, and perhaps solid projectiles would be better?" Poseidon- You practise a while, and gain .2 xp.

OVERLORDING!
Ares thanks the smith for his willingness, informing him that as long as he never leaves the castle, he shall not be harmed by the minions or me, and shall be given a relatively comfortable position. Ares commands one of his minions to bring him 2 more prisoners, and commands the others to create the smith's quarters, making sure there is plenty of room for equipment.

Earth- Kay. Umbra- 20 minutes. Nexaduro- You detect no traps. Yeah, +.2 geomancy. Grim- There are no traps. You come to a room with a mesh floor, a hole in the centre, and a lever. Hakon- Once again, it shatters. Poseidon- You think all of the passages have been found already.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares sits down and nonchalently talks to the blacksmith. "Do you fear death, my friend?" (Hurr Davey Jones.) He instructs the two brainwashed people to guard the entrance in case whatever killed the minion is coming closer. He resummons his minions and then tells them to bring him 3 more prisoners.

Rocco- "Well, we have a magesmith here, but he is rather...clumsy. He's still not brilliant at it, you see?" Grim- Rocco already told you the location, I believe. You head to the infernal forge, and arrive at a tunnel. Umbra- You recieve instructions to return to the citidel. Earth- You trip and fall again. Nexaduro- The golems fall into pieces, dropping two life crystals to the floor. Poseidon- You note that the exit has been replaced by a tunnel for some reason. Hakon- The firing mechanism still shatters it.

OVERLORDING!
Ares tells the minions to go and get the blacksmith from the cells. While they are doing that, he attempts to use magic to wipe the minds of the two prisoners, turning them into mindless slaves. He tells the minion not to disturb the seam of gold yet, but build the infirmary around it. He sends his remaining minion to scout the forest, looking for anything interesting, but reporting back before acting on it.

Earth- You train with your axe. +.4 axes. Umbra- Well, I know this red one is Baalinum, a metal which tends to drain life force, and einherjarium has some minor restorative properties, but I don't know what this cyan metal is. Rocco- "You could try the ivory tower. Probably a magesmith there." Nexaduro- You step into the room, alerting the golems to your presence. They do not have a mind, and are simply guardians, and attack you. You fuse their feet to the floor temporarily. +.2 geomancy. Hakon- The prism still shatters in the barrel, spewing glass out in front of you.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares yells to the minions that he is surrounded by incompetance. He holds his scythe blade to one of the peasants necks and tells them to answer his question.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares talks to the prisoners. "Tell me, is there a blacksmith among you? If there is, I might consider not killing you all." Ares checks if the minion has finished cleaning the gold.

Umbra- You take the metals and bring them to the Ivory Tower. Nexaduro- You enchant the halberd with sound, causing it to vibrate at an extremely rapid rate, making it cut through things much more easily. +.3 sound. Grim- You don't know where it is. Earth- You slip and fall, gaining no experience. Hakon- You carefully adjust it and make the barrel wider.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares commands the minion to pick up the gold and clean it, before telling another minion to turn some of the bones into daggers. He instructs the other minion to get two of the prisoners from the cells.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares smashes the minion with the blunt end of the scythe, before using the life orb to summon another minion. He then checks the corpse of the person, before taking all of the bones.

Umbra- Rocco took most of the red metal, but all of the others remain, including einherjarium, mystril, and a cyan metal. Jen- The vine seems to be surviving just fine. You grow some more flowers. +.1 nature. Grim- "We've sold you so much already. It'll be 10,000 gold, I'm afraid." Hakon- You find nothing of note. Nexaduro- You fail in enchanting your staff, but you create a stone edge for it, fashioning a rough halberd. +.2 geomancy.
-
OVERLORDING!
Ares lines them all up, and kills one of them at random with his scythe, before sending the rest down to be locked in small, individual cells. He then checks the loot and counts the gold.
