Genesis and The Big Bang
The "evidence" for ghosts and spirits is, in my eyes, a bunch of rubbish. It is all based on visions and experiences. If you hear a strange sound in the dark, and somebody suggests that it's a ghost, you'll start to think that it's a ghost, and you'll start trying to find meaning in the sound. The human brain and body will sometimes create visions and sounds for you, when deprived of a sense, or when in a state of fear or stress. I do not believe in any experience after death. I think the brain just ceases to function, and we're gone. I believe that we essentially cease to exist when we die. This is the point I was trying to make a few pages back. Gorgoroth, you may be trying to learn about the views of others, but you have no true intent to consider changing your views, because in reality, you are denying the evidence which others are providing. That said, I cannot honestly say I came here with intent to change my views either.

I've already explained this to everyone, and they seem to be fine with it. YOU are the only one that seems to think it's too confusing to play. The software will make the game quicker and easier. This game will be about tactics, not just an arms race and a loose battle system (It's a lot better in the hegemony since Archi got there, mind). You will need real strategy, and you will need to micromanage. I was told you weren't allowed to play anyway. I don't know by who, but I remember being told that. Edit - I rejigged my unit roster [hide=Aresian unit roster] [hide=Bloodletter] [/hide] [hide=Deadsight] [/hide] [hide=War drummer] [/hide] [hide=Judge Knight] [/hide] [hide=Aresian Reaper] [/hide] [hide=Ares Biahorae] [/hide] [/hide]

A lot of those values are too low I think. My heavy unit is worth 20 points, and that has an OS of 14 and a DS of 4, as well as a movement range of 4. I think I'm going to change its range to 1-2 though.

The End of the World. What would you do?
If we can see a meteor heading directly towards us in the sky, and meteorologists etc have confirmed it's going to hit us, I can basically be sure that it's the end of the world <_<

It's a program that will make the game much easier and quicker. Anyways, about the Strength and such. Just look at everyone elses units, come up with some values that follow along with them, then come up with a value cost for them. Remember that the stronger a unit is, the more it will cost, for example, the romans are quite strong, so they have high unit costs, wheras some barbarians wouldn't be as powerful, but you could take more into battle. Also, about the special effects. The bow piercing idea might be a little strange, and it would mean basically everybody gets it, but I think it could be included. The other effects are up to you to determine. Just post them, and if somebody screams about it, agree to change it.

The End of the World. What would you do?
To be honest, the best reason I (And probably the other people who said that) have is "For the lulz" It's the end of the world, who gives a damn. Since I don't belive in a life after death, or any form of conciousness after death, it doesn't really seem to matter.

Genesis and The Big Bang
I may be speaking from personal opinion, but from what I've read, the people who actually intend to change their views in a forum debate are in the minority. (Edit: I basically posted the same thing as Saru. Damn snipers.)

The End of the World. What would you do?
Burn everything, random killing spree. The usual. Guilt, who needs it, eh?

That's funny, because I always tend to see religion as the lazy man's way of explaining the universe. In all honesty, there is no point to this argument. Nobody ever actually manages to change somebody's opinion in this sort of thing, so we're really only doing it for the sole purpose of trying to prove them wrong, which to me seems like a waste of time.

War is postponed I think. Prepare your armies and stuffs in the meantime I suppose. Good luck with those essays Archi.

Retetch, you shouldn't take that many planets. New colonies cost a ton, and your budget would probably be in the negatives if you do that. I'd go with 1-2 more, 4 if you want to push it.

Blockade near your planet.- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
You sent more transports to Earth....? My Earth fleet is going to target them as soon as they get near Sol. Considering they have next to no defense, I presume it will basically be a slaughter. I told you, I'm forming a blockade, quickly dispatching a ton of troops before they get there wont help.- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
You posted your progress today already. 37 minutes ago :???:- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I'll sign, though the terms should be clearer. Using a ship to impact the planet, otherwise it would basically restrict all ship weaponry being used.- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
There is no need to get him off Earth. If he wants to fight a pointless war, he can, but he will get no more reinforcements since I was already planning to form a blockade around his planet (Much more civilised than smashing a ship into a planet randomly) in the first place. Well, actually, first option was to use the Ares cannon, but since we agreed that Japan didn't nuke itself, I was just going to make a blockade.- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Can we PLEASE just forget this ever happened?- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I second that.- Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I think I also agreed to that. If I went out on a whim and crashed all of my ships into each of your planets, I could end this game. So could Doom, Dusty, Sere, Dungeon, and yes, indeed, so could Grim. I'm pretty sure that's game breaking. Basically, Grim's ship magically rearranges its atoms and appears just outside the system in a freak display the odds of which occuring are well over 1 to 1 googolplex. The universe gasps in amazement at this occurance, but things quickly settle down. - Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
