The Promised Land
I have Norton also. You see why I'm worried?

The Promised Land
:wall: You mwan that was it and you didn't download it? For christ sake. I'll download it if it gets this game going. I just worry about things like that, they're used for viruses all the time.

The Promised Land
We didn't fail, we just couldn't buy the program. RPG found it for free, but I don't usually download stuff like that.

Sega-Res isn't off limits, and Zypherius still has like 7 billion citizens on it. It's just Eos which is off limits.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Before I stopped entirely, it was 10 Cataclysm ships and 1 Hyperion ship per year. For the record, the space around Eos will be constantly scanned and scouted by fighters, and anything entering will be shot at by multiple battlestations.

Exactly 0. I'm solely producing defenses now. In other news, 4 Styx defense platforms being towed by Carrier ships, as well as 10 Chronos matter eaters have been dispatched to the new system (Christened "Eos")

Since I have quark fusion and matter compilers, would I not be able to create that material as well? When you said electron lattices in the trade with me, I thought you meant that. Sorry about the confusion.

Seems all heck broke loose while I was gone. I think I have about 22~ shipyards in Sega-Res at the moment, and they are only producing the Styx defense platform. I haven't changed my name for ages.. I think it went Iran > Aether, and I'm still using that.

The Promised Land
I'll reread rules later, I only scanned them for now, but it looks interesting. I think I'll probably play. Hex, I think you're still missing the point of kingdoms. It was supposed to be complex so that players would actually have to think long and hard about their tactics. (kingdoms may still start if somebody can get the program for free "Somehow".)

Ah, then I assume they're just research stations and mining colonies or something then?
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Why did you just colonise half the galaxy...? Honestly, there is no real advantage to having 27~ planets except growing space, and possibly resources, but why anyone would need 27 planets worth of resources is beyond me. And growing wont be needed until a planet has upwards of 15 billion people. By capturing dozens of planets you are merely stretching your forces, and in contrast to what would happen with more land on Earth, weakening yourself. Rant over.

Alrighty, lets just assume that I chopped all my ships up into more quark matter. I don't need them anymore, and my allies can't use them, so that should work.

They'd be shot down by fighters and the hundereds of Goalkeeper guns which are pointed in every direction. As well as the 6800 Helios orbs which swarm around planets themselves.

Well Styx are pretty huge. Big enough to maintain a solar orbit instead of a planetary one, anyway. I think they'll be able to protect the whole of Sega-Res after awhile, but for now, I'd put up some static defenses for the next 5 or so years.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
If you really were to do that, I wouldn't mind all that much. Ships aren't essential to my plans anymore, and I'm only producing the Styx defensive station now.

I'm staying out of your and Retech's conflict, since both of your assisted Germania during the war. Ross: I think it's safe to say your fleet is pretty much decimated from the past war. Actually, during that battle you took out 3/4 of my fleet. Given the years since when I decided to halt production of Rhadamanthus class ships, I have about 65 Cataclysm ships now, which is no small deal. Although I shan't be producing more for a long time now, instead I'm focusing on defenses.

They don't actually have a list of properties, I kept putting off doing that stuff... You can create them yourself I guess. Go nuts. Rocco, you can fight us if you want, I didn't send that large a fleet, and considering you apparently have a ton of ships, I don't know if the fleet you sent can beat it or not. And even if it does, I hold no grudges, I just don't like players being forcefully ejected back to square one a few weeks after they start playing.

Nah, I think Archi has all the physics right, I just can't remember it. Quarks and supersmall particles and confusing properties and all that.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Huh. How does this armour make it immune to mass based weapons AND 1/2 of energy weapons? Strange matter converts mass to more strange matter, essentially negating it. You'll have to ask Archi, because in all honesty, I'm a bit confused about it as well.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I appreciate the thought, Grim, but Quark fusion generators are my primary power source at the moment. A group of 30 Cataclysm ships and 3 Hyperion ships will be sent to whichever of Retech's planet Rocco is attacking, and will fire on any hostile ships which are or were carrying the virus. For the record, my ships are using atomic lative armour which negates about half of the damage from energy based weapons and makes them almost immune to mass based weapons, they're also using space fighters as well as armour eating/system jamming nanites.

What can I say. Don't build huge towers out of conductive metals for no reason next time. Also: Hi. And my flag, since you can put flags on it.

Just noticed that I get fractal world thingy with the demo version, so now I will make my own planet.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I don't really care for how my planets look, so can you use the generator for Orojike and Zypherius?
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I'm selling all my planets outside of Sega-Res. They'll be sold for a fairly cheap price, since I really just don't need/want them. Besides, I'm going to be a bit isolationist until my joint project with Archi is complete and my ascension to demi-godhood so I don't need a web of planets keeping me busy. Instead, I'll focus defense on the planets I have. My allies will still be given support should they need it, but I am limiting the amount of ships I am building per year to 0 unless otherwise required. Shoot. Edit: this program looks awesome. And confusing. Awesomely confusing.
