  1. Thats all I needed to know, Doom. I'm going to come up with racial modifiers for my ships and such. Edit: Forget it, I'll keep it hidden from anyone who didn't see it. Also, is there a list of the point cost of defensive structures?
  2. Okay, and what are the ship production rates? I'll come up with some modifiers once I know how many points each ship/defensive structure takes. I need to start my fleet from scratch, since I cannibalized them all to turn Sega-Res into a defensive structure riddled fortress. I think Sega-Res has a defensive bonus of 9,900,000 without modifiers at the current time.
  3. In that case, I create a superfleet of 1000 Heavy battleships, 100 super heavy battleships and 50 ultra battleships, and I'll just halt production for the next 100 years to compensate. No. Ask Rocco about Ion cannons. But I assume they'll be weaker than most peoples, since most people put a continuous research project on their weapons (Hell, thats what I did with my lasers, they've had about 35 trillion thrown into them so far)
  4. Look, what I'm basically saying is that it is completely stupid that you can build a fleet bigger than most other people in the thread in about 1/3 of the time. Dumb it down a bit, and I'll stop moaning, kay? Also, since what doom said, you can't have that many production stations anyway. How many points does each production station give again?
  5. And this allows you to research your stuff faster how? You still didn't explain how you managed to get a fleet bigger than most of the other players in about 1/3 of the time. First off, you need to put a bit of research into creating shipyards and such, and what sort of weapons do your battleships use? You need to research them to, since most weaponry behaves differently in space. Along with habitability in space, since up till now you only used troop transports, but battleship crews need to be on the ship constantly. How did you sort out gravity and the issue of weakened bone structure and such?
  6. Your first few shipyards takes a lot longer, with research and such into survivability and habitation of space required, then the research of each type of ship, and you continue from there. I assume you're up to heavy battleships by now, with maybe a super heavy as your flagship.
  7. How the hell have you produced that many ships? As far as I know, you have less than 5 shipyards, because I've never noticed you saying you built any. Are you just making up your ship numbers? I'll assume you missed this, Retech, so I'll post it again.

  9. I'll need to ask Archi beforehand, Sere, the project is more his than mine.
  10. Derp. I already said that we're taking about 2 years to get the entire periodic table. Who knows, the element that we need most might take 320 days to discover.
  11. You could get strange elements too, but you would have to research all of the precursors and such, and even after that, it would only generate 1 strange element every 14 years. Me and Archi have joined our research, so we can get 1 strange element every 7 years. At the current rate, it would take us just under 2 years in real life to get the entire periodic table (714 days), so I don't think its really unbalanced, and we have no idea if we'll get something useful like aluminium either, since its done with an RNG.
  12. And what of strange elements? We're making it fair, mind, we're getting 1 strange element per week, generated by taking the Atomic numbers on the periodic table and using a RNG.
  13. No complaints, but I think I'll let you guys squabble over this "Magiconium" I'd rather use strange matter anyway <_<
  14. Also, Aether is now purchasing all spare material, no matter what it is. I have been producing matter harvesters for a while now, and I am beggining the full-scale dissasembly of Joru and Lo-bustran to fuel the project which is happening in Eos. Archi has the name for it, but I keep forgetting.
  15. I have 26 shipyards in Sega-Res, and they're not producing shops anymore. We need a point list for defensive structures too. If nobody else can do that at the moment, I'll do it. I'll assume Furlong Fortresses are worth about 1500, which means I can produce 3 per year, and my helios orbs (No idea which class they are) are worth 2 each, which means 450 per year, and that is all of my points. All of my defensive structures from this point on are no longer limited to a planet orbit, they are going to be free floating in the orbit of the star itself. Archi, its been a week so I think its time to roll for a strange element, so I guess I might as well do that. 24 - We got Strange Chromium.
  16. And maybe Dusty is me and I created this account afterwards. DUN DUN DUNNNN
  17. I don't think so. The last 7 or so pages have consisted of total crap. Get it together, damnit. Rocco has a legitimate virus. He spent time researching it, so he should be able to use it, regardless of your race. I can help create a vaccine by sending computers and scientists, but you should still think about evacuation and other measures.
  18. Random event: Hegemony devolves into old Hegemony, complete with screaming matches. For christs sake people.
  19. As far as I'm aware, a race cannot be resistant to a disease that they have never discovered, due to the lack of antibodies.
  20. I'll also look into it.
  21. Wow, I'm loving the fact that bioweapons don't work on machines.
  22. Or, we could pay to have a system scout of some kind? I'd say like 25 trillion, so nobody actually wants to do it. No, it doesn't make any sense, but neither does systems spawning out of vacuum, and that's how we've been rolling so far. Admittedly, the idea isn't very well thought through, but whatever, if anyone wants to change it a bit, go for it.
  23. I'm actually standing behind you in real life. But if you turn around, I'll hide again.
  24. I see what you did there. Don't try to quickly edit your "I was being sarcastic" and then accept it when you know perfectly well that people shouldn't be allowed to go and find five systems randomly. Heh, I have ninja skills, nothing gets past me.
  25. A T-shirt, random colour, first one I can grab, same with trousers, some cheap-[wagon] shoes which are surprisingly comfortable, and a long trenchcoat.
