  1. Okay, that seems fair. I was under the illusion that they had roughly the same power as a tactical nuke. So one city was badly damaged, and I assume Walka gets to choose which one. Also, I am going to destroy anything I perceive as an orbital threat from now on. Anyways, I'm going now, its 7 in the morning. Sleeping pills, here I come :-#
  2. Hm. Well that changes things. How many hits would you say is a fair estimate?
  3. Okay, so, assuming I would know about it as soon as it starts moving, and the firing process takes around 10 minutes (Computer settings and such), we're talking 15 minutes for the actual dropping to occur, by which time, my lasers could have aimed and fired. They're designed to be able to aim and fire very quickly, because its not very useful in instances such as this if it takes an hour to setup.
  4. How quickly can a satellite move through orbit? My lasers can aim and fire at a pretty fast rate, so I doubt he would get even a shot off, but in the interests of fairness, I say he dropped one HVR on Japan.
  5. To be honest, We would have seen it moving towards Japan, as I've known about it for quite a while now, so I would have been keeping an eye on it. I would have destroyed it as soon as it began the firing process, so I think one direct hit is fairly realistic.
  6. Well, right after you left I started blowing your orbital weapon system(s) out of the sky... You forgot that I had an ARC cannon in each of my allies countries. Japan got hit by only one of the RFGs. I invaded Britannia Canada, dropped a few hundered Reaper drones on Berlin.... Aether didn't fire any ICBMs, either. Also, Dusty, you didn't deal with the hoardes of Robotic soldiers that are on your doorstep. Or the few hundered semi invisible drones I dropped around Berlin. While I'm taking the time to say this, I might as well explain this invisibility. It basically uses ultra high defenition cameras on one side, then displays the image captured by the camera on the other side, making it blend into the background almost seamlessly.
  7. THIS IS WHY I ASKED FOR NO BIO-WEAPONS! Damnit guys. Also, Dusty. It shows dedication when the first thing you think of when recovering from a fever is catching up on a thread
  8. Now I feel bad for causing WWIV. Not really.
  9. I think I'm nearly beating my 229 post count on the zombie defense thread right now. Also, my Dyson shard is still going well, and is due to be finished in a few years time.
  10. Page 150? I fail.
  11. Can we have a map of this battle strategy? There we go, I'm basically just pushing a wall of drones against him.
  12. Aetherian forces in Canada are constantly launching assualts on the Britannian lines. The drone legions think and move as one, wrecking all in their path, you can't hold them back forever.
  13. Aetherian forces have successfully isolated the assault into my heartland, and are still pushing into Britannia Canada. Also, I didn't break my reason for attacking Germania
  14. Tried it, it fails miserably. I tried the cocaine, alchohol and marijuana. None of them work for me.
  15. Aether begins to move troops into Britannia Canada, with intention of making Britannia unable to intervene with the coming war.
  16. I said before, nothing you have done counts until Dusty posts. It's not "going well", you don't even know what his defenses are. Indeed, we need to think of this as a kind of turn based warfare.
  17. Could you not have used smaller, black text, to make it seem neater :|
  18. [hide=quote train] A mirror. or the fact that our satelites arent exactly easy to see during the middles of the day; how do you target them, ross? and grim, those are intercontinental missiles, not earth to orbit ones. and they take a while to get to their target aswell, and because i have satelites in orbit over almost every part of the earth, any time one goes near an antagonist in this war it drops a few of the 250kg rods, and if needed, a 500kg one on main cities. and we have subs aswell following our ships. and i gtg school now, cya. [/hide] Small satellites take the location of the system, send information back to the ARC, then they use that information to target the system itself. I have begun to systematically destroy any and all Russian/Germanian RFG systems that I see. I will not touch their space stations, however, as they could hold vital research. Any satellites that are destroyed will have their debris cleared up at the nearest convenient point. Icarus drones line Russia's southern border, however, I will not attack unless provoked, and these drones are mostly for defense in case Russia attempts to invade me.
  19. A mirror. Uuuuh, I'm not sure that would work, I think it would just superheat the mirror to the point where it isn't so much a mirror as it is a sheet with a hole in. This thing can cut through solid iron in seconds, a mirror will not really stop it. Plus, I doubt the entire system has a mirror coating.
  20. My ARC cannons are situated around my country, there is one in each of my allies countries as well. How can you stop a laser, Walka? Its not like giant weapon systems can dodge lasers...
  21. I fire my ARC cannons to bring your RFG systems crashing to Earth. I didn't want to use them, but that is provocation enough. I would still much prefer not having to fight Russia.
  22. I see. But, what do you think about it if FTL isn't warp travel, but just a hugely speeded up method, that wont be discovered for another few dozen years? Would that be okay? I get the feeling that a lot of people think of warp travel when FTL is mentioned.
  23. So you're saying that FTL travel may eventually be used? Besides, I don't think we're talking about instantaneous warping to anywhere here. Maybe 6x lightspeed, absolute maximum?
  24. Okay, so not intergalactic. Within this galaxy, but I don't know what thats called :?
  25. I just don't think we should completely throw FTL travel out of the window, otherwise things like intergalactic warfare, and other such awesome stuff will become impossible for this thread.
