Were you not also helping with FTL travel? It's impossible. It breaks so many laws of physics. And hyperspace would require there not only being other dimensions, but a convenient dimension that works that way, then a way for us to reach it. FTL is stupid. Honestly. The best research you could do is make traveling at near lightspeed easier and more energy efficient. Without FTL travel, the thread can only go a certain distance before dying. It should be discovered at some point, maybe if it isn't in the near future. Like 2150 or something (If we get that far)

It may have been the fact that up to 150 ICBMs hit them : Germania has a missile shield. Very few of them probably hit :|

22 SFere pods have been launched into a circle around Berlin. I don't expect them to do too much damage, but hopefully the impact and deployment will send civilians into a panic. Each pod carries 15 Icarus/reaper drones, and these ones all carried reaper drones, so there are now 330 semi-invisible drones in and around berlin, not causing many casualties, but mainly just annoying the military and causing panic in civilians. (Don't say they were shot down, its a hollow ball with a 1.5 foot thick layer of steel surrounding the drones. Try shooting that down when its travelling at 1200 Metres per second. Besides, 8 of the 30 that were fired were knocked off course and destroyed anyway)

Okay, here goes then. Aether's military currently consists of: 8.3 million Icarus drones(This may seem stupid, but remembering that most all of my military factories produce these now, and a hell of a lot of money has been invested into created them, and that I gather materials and energy for their creation myself) 0 tanks 6000 Reaper drones 4.3 million Exobreaker suits, 5000 of which have railguns. Very few normal soldiers, so few that it isn't worth mentioning. 56 Eurofighter Jets (Old tech, but I'm not really one for Air combat) 430 SFear pods, which are essentially ICBMs that deploy drones. Small navy, 9 frigates, 5 destroyers, 7 nuclear submarines. My border defense consists of an array of AA guns, some missile defense guns, and then a lot of mounted railguns. I think thats realistic-ish. Also, Doom, I am not fighting Germania so much for the expansion, but for my ally Luxembourg and the fact that Germania held my troops hostage after breaking an alliance and starting WWIII. Are my civilians allowed to cross the border, or not?

This is my current move, I have sent Icarus drones to most borders, with some being farther south, as well. Reaper drones are all around your country, but only in groups of 2-3, and they are basically just diverting your troops attention.

My theme is: [yt]9WqwFhX6Cqg[/yt] Hell march is freaking epic. My Icarus drones have basically overrun the Germanian borders. You really can't stand up to about a million killing machines swarming your defenses.

You can consider this revenge for shattering our old alliance, Dusty. It is also vengeance for Luxembourg, who is an ally of mine. Icarus drones move from their location and begin to terrorise the border patrols and military bases close to them. Reaper drones already in the country switch off their stealth screen and begin harrasing your military bases which are farther inland. They don't cause any real damage, but its a nice diversion, since your troops are having a hard time catching them. Further Icarus forces have been dispatched to tunisia to assist the rebellion. I would very much like to keep all research projects between us running, of course, but I simply cannot stand and watch you revel in the territory you have taken. Another small note: Would it be possible to constrict the use of WMDs on both sides?

Okay, a new spell called "Fuse Pastry" should be created :wall: It would be helpful, but I don't really think it is totally necessery.

Custom/dynamic quests!
Randomly generated dungeons/area quests? Would definately be a great addition to the gameplay.

My Dyson shard is coming along nicely, and the ship that will be used to retrieve the energy has already been finished. Construction of the shard itself has barely begun, though. My human efficiency drug is progressing nicely, with slightly more powerful versions appearing week by week. Icarus drone production is at an all time high, with around 1 million production capacity per year. A lot of my soldiers have been sent to reserve, with just 500,000 on active service now.

Idoser: Binaural Drugs
Sounds cool, but I don't want to download anything else onto my laptop at the moment. Maybe some other time.

400 billion? They're a very closely guarded secret, so I expect quite a high price for them. Also, Doom, would Aether be allowed to use that elevator, by any chance?

Since when do you have a battleship :? Since a few years ago. Gave up on drawing it, as my mouse is being stupid. Two real models are currently undergoing experimental construction, and will hopefully be ready in about 10 years.

The Aetherian prototype battleship proceeds to fire lasers randomly into a giant ball of gas and dust. Its a good test exercise, and it wont really do any damage to Jupiter. I'm drawing a picture of the Aetherian battleship design as of now. Also, The Exobreaker A-2 manned exoskeleton designs cost 250 billion USD.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Ross how much do each of your A-2 suits cost? I'm not selling them individually, I'm selling the designs, since I no longer have too much use for my very old designs. I have also decided to show where I got the idea for my Icarus drones, just to show people how awesome they look. I'm sure one of you has played a Zone of the enders game, right? [hide="Raptor"/Icarus drone from a Z.O.E game][/hide] I am also setting up 20 more production lines(4 factories) for these, and hope to have numbers up to 16 million in 5-6 years. Also, at what point does one become a military superpower, as I would rather like that title  Edit: Confused at the above post. Do I laser Jupiter to hell, or what?

I no longer produce tanks, and have a rather small airforce/navy. I also harvest materials and most energy myself, so I don't think I'm going too overboard with my drones, considering 4/5 of all my military factories are dedicated solely to producing and weaponising them. I'm gearing up for war, should one occur and spill into Aether. I don't like biological warfare, either :|

Official Aion thread (Visions update)
No idea if its been mentioned as of yet, but theres a site which lists a lot of the items that can be found in the game, with 3D models of most of them as well. http://www.aionarmory.com Again, no idea if thats been mentioned, but I thought that it was pretty cool.

My 7 year coma is now totally gone. Aether has begun construction of a few small space stations using the same plasma docking systems that Doom has already explained. A complete prototype space battleship is currently being tested as well, it incorperates my miniaturised ARC cannons for defense, as well as the destruction of obstacles. My army currently numbers around 10.3 million, thanks to my legions of Icarus and Reaper drones. (Can I be considered a superpower yet  ) I have created a drop pod which carries my drones in quantities of 15 at a time, and can be launched exactly like an ICBM, but it can't be used by humans due to the fact that there is no air in the orb, and impact would kill any animal that is inside at the point of landing. The shell is basically made of solid steel, so its difficult to shoot down. And thats what I've been up to.

Nothing is impossible! You just have to put your mind to it! :^o Alright I have a bit of an odd request. I'm curious as to what everyones Myers-Briggs personality type is, as I think you can correlate your type to how you run your country in this game. So, if you have the time, could you guys take the test here and post what type you got? Cheers. [hide=Personality thing+wall of text]Your Type is INTJ Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging Strength of the preferences % 67 62 88 11 Rational Portrait of the Mastermind (INTJ) All Rationals are good at planning operations, but Masterminds are head and shoulders above all the rest in contingency planning. Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off on their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be. Masterminds are rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population, and they are rarely encountered outside their office, factory, school, or laboratory. Although they are highly capable leaders, Masterminds are not at all eager to take command, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once they take charge, however, they are thoroughgoing pragmatists. Masterminds are certain that efficiency is indispensable in a well-run organization, and if they encounter inefficiency-any waste of human and material resources-they are quick to realign operations and reassign personnel. Masterminds do not feel bound by established rules and procedures, and traditional authority does not impress them, nor do slogans or catchwords. Only ideas that make sense to them are adopted; those that don't, aren't, no matter who thought of them. Remember, their aim is always maximum efficiency. In their careers, Masterminds usually rise to positions of responsibility, for they work long and hard and are dedicated in their pursuit of goals, sparing neither their own time and effort nor that of their colleagues and employees. Problem-solving is highly stimulating to Masterminds, who love responding to tangled systems that require careful sorting out. Ordinarily, they verbalize the positive and avoid comments of a negative nature; they are more interested in moving an organization forward than dwelling on mistakes of the past. Masterminds tend to be much more definite and self-confident than other Rationals, having usually developed a very strong will. Decisions come easily to them; in fact, they can hardly rest until they have things settled and decided. But before they decide anything, they must do the research. Masterminds are highly theoretical, but they insist on looking at all available data before they embrace an idea, and they are suspicious of any statement that is based on shoddy research, or that is not checked against reality. Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke, Dwight D. Eisenhower, General Ulysses S. Grant, Frideriche Nietsche, Niels Bohr, Peter the Great, Stephen Hawking, John Maynard Keynes, Lise Meitner, Ayn Rand and Sir Isaac Newton are examples of Rational Masterminds.[/hide] Hm. I note Stephen Hawking and Isaac Newton in that list. Thats pretty awesome.
