Not needed, and I am not a fan of making items rarer off task and more common on task. I think that for those of us with 99 Slayer that's very unfair. Also, there will be a high demand for these. Anyone now who owns an Abyssal Whip will eventually want to upgrade to a skeletal broadsword, and that is a LOT of people. It will eventually drop to about 5m though, but not for a long while. There will be a high demand, thus, they will be camped like mad(Even if so few players can kill them), causing a surge into the market which is basically unpreventable, causing this to become the new whip, and the whip to become an outdated item. Of course, this is what will happen to all armour in this game eventually, but by making less of an item come into circulation, I think that the whip will still be used and retain a decent price for a long time. The reason I want the whip to remain at a decent price, is because abyssal demons will be a horrible task without a rare drop. Basically, I don't want to create another useless weapon. I don't know what kind of system could be put into effect, but maybe only have it drop the item at the same rate when you get level 97 slayer or something?

Uuuuh, well, I suppose so. Just some updates: The first building has been created on the planet surface itself, and it has been tested by scientists to make sure it is safe to live in. With this in mind, we can truly begin to colonize the planet. I have also started work on some other buildings, but thats another matter for now. A lot of my scientists have been diverted to researching space travel, and hope to create faster/more efficient ships and other machines in the next 5-6 years. I would also like to ask Doom if I can look at the engine she and Indy designed which is capable of near light speed travel.

How about perhaps making the broadsword rarer off task than it is while on task? That would stop them flooding the market and making them cheap.

News of this game continues to surprise me. Damn my laptop. I need more money to buy a new computer, so I can buy this.

The rebuilding of the US has begun, since there was basically nothing left, I'm pumping funds into creating homes and other buildings. New machines are being built on mars, mostly in the way of transport, but there are a few other things as well. The trees on mars have grown a suitable amount, I will now look into putting animals onto the planet, though I will probably need help with this from some of the other nations.

Just an update on the mars colonies. The growth of small plants has begun, and trees will soon start as well. After the plants have grown, I will research ecosustainability and choose a selection of animals based on that. The gravity is not affecting any of the people there too much, due to my modified exosuits. They have basically had most functions stripped off, and are designed to give the illusion of being pulled down on, to simulate the earths gravity.

I think Japan's owner is on vacation or something, he hasn't posted on TIF at all for a while. So leave it be for now.

Ah yeah, I did forget. Sorry. Anyways, having now obtained a part of the US, I have begun repopulation of it, but I assume new buildings need to be created, since the entire thing blew up for no reason. So I guess I'll start work on that.

Okay, I think its time to reveal the Mars colonies, seeing as Paul would probably have noticed us anyway :lol: We started off with a bunch of seperate plans to build a colony each ("We" being Me, Doom and Indy) And decided it would be much easier if we all worked together on one colony, allowing more money to be put in, and more progress made. The colony is fully set up, and we are currently in the final steps of terraformation (Plants and creatures). Also, I have decided upon my new kingdom name being taken from the name of the ancient Greek god of the sky and the heavens. Thus: The Kingdom of Aether.

If we ban these strategic weapons (ICBMs, EMPs, etc), there will have to be some kind of international peace treaty with the most powerful nations. If the smaller nations go to war, sure, they can use conventional warfare and stand more of a chance. However, if a large, wealthy nation was to go to war against a smaller nation, that nation would either 1) surrender, 2) destroy itself, or 3) get taken over. Right now, strategic weapons sort of serve as something similar to MAD. With EMP devices becoming more common, as well as ICBMs, nations would be deterred from using them against each other because they know that there'll be a retaliation. I see what you're saying, actually. Okay, its fine the way it is. I have proceeded to move troops into both Afghanistan and Pakistan, they will soon be claimed by Iran, at which point I am going to change my countries name into something more awsome. I propose a new rule: No EMP's. They're just too powerful. Large EMP released above a capital city: Bam. No economy, no communication, no order. Release it above an Exosuit/aircraft base: No more military. Anybody else agree? Also, I would like to claim the nations between me and india, if possible(Not india itself). Well, I found myself a flag. So I guess I'll be using this. (I just did a google search and took the first image that came up :lol:) Anyways, Iran is currently re-enforcing all buildings of value, and citizens are being provided with bomb shelters. Missile defense array is operational, but wont be fully completed for another few months. Still increasing my Exosuits capabilities. They should far outmatch the russian ones, as mine have had many, many more years of research put into them. A new type has been developed, with mortar cannons attached to the back and shoulders. Nicknaming them Scorpion suits. I've been a little quiet lately, I should post more often :|
