Guthans is pointless for slayer just use food for faster exp. Summons and sgs or i suppose the enhanced excalibur should be enough. after that just use food. if you can use a combat familar instead of healer, specials and food should be enough for any task. not really worth using guthans anywhere slayer related imo

I load twice because i keep 4 yaks and a summon potion in my inventory, so i bank once every 5 hours or so for more summons. I call him before i get a full load because it takes about 4-5 seconds to guarantee you find it first try that way theres no waiting. so i usually fill twice this way, only loses about 1-2 seconds per load so not that much of a time loss. I have yet to find a super fast way to get back. whats the fastest way possible to get back?

thats a near perfect hour though, 1300 logs is more common

The best place to fm ive found is FoG lobby. enough rows for 3 people to consistantly fm. Maples are infinitely better then willows, willows shouldnt even be considered an option. The GE is good if you can fm both directions but its very laggy and annoying so i found it a hassle. You can do like 1400 logs on a good hour at FoG.

The last day ive been doing w84. i can call my yak before i load him i always find him instantly. i do this at about half load, loading him 2 times to fill. not entirely sure what is faster, but i havent really noticed much a difference with the lava titan in mining speeds. Keep in mind i always find him without losing time, so its as if no one else is there. lava titan is still supposed to be faster?

Without a unicorn it will probly be 2 trips. What i used to do is bring a bird or tort full of good food, wear bandos or verac skirt and torags top. bring bunyip for after I flashed piety. never found dfs that much of a use there, but better then mind shield if you use a dfs normally use it, if not dont buy one for this task. thats it in a nut shell

im just wondering if the 10 mining bonus helps more then making half as many runs to the box. i guess i could test it but i was hoping someone knows a definate answer =]

Its not really answerable because it depends on your bank times. the slower you bank the more run restores. i was doing under 60 second zmi runs, try to use mouse keys to obtain faster times. im not sure what level would be needed for no potions but i expect extremely high, but i havent ran it since new agility update a few months ago. not even sure its possible

i get 45-50k ish range mostly watching tv or videos not using the catch window to drop the fish for optimization. so lots of room for optimization i can use but choose not to just for convinience really. I personnaly extremely hate every agility course if tried, so a benefit of leaping to 80 agil and almost 99 fish is I can start right away on high level courses for future agility training

Thanks for the fast replies guys. I calcuate that works out to around 250k cash an hour for rocktail so 4 hours of rocktails is about a mil, and 150k exp give or take. 4 hours of barbarian is around 200k exp and 20k exp in agility. I make about a mil an hour so I presume I should stick with barbarian since the time saved canceles out that money but i gain free agility exp.

anyone know the exp rates of these fish and the gp/hour ? would be muchly appretiated. Both with level 90 with granite lobster (so 94)

If your even on lunar spellbook, getting sand off that is definately worth it

Actually SS is better exp per hour and has a crush option, where as d scim is horrible for many monsters because of only slash and a very weak stab. 2 pray bonus of ss is small but helpful when pray training which is the most effective kind. if your doing slayer gargs and waterfiends are quite weak to ss and u cant even bother with scim on those. not worth it. also im pretty sure kalphites are weak to crush but i know for a fact d scim is horrible on them. i

can you post results of whip and defender. vs any godsword? id presume whip wins then all around but is it a big difference?

another option is just using a lava titan, since banking with it takes like 30 seconds and his respawn time is similar. kills per trip will change, but kills per hour should stay the same. as getting to him without lava titan takes a couple minutes. Also you can recharge prayer at the altar instead of ppots when you bank do a house tele for pray, take glory to edge bank repeat. Not sure best weapon but it would likely be either spear or whip and defender. the gs isnt that accurate on him from personal experience. though a bgs spec would probly be best even though the bgs sucks otherwise. since you only do like 6-7 kills a trip just bring minimal items and you can bank all the hides/bones still, though i suppose yak could work just as well. matter of preference probly

from personal experience using void and slaying to 99 range, black demons have far less range defense then abyssals for sure

Whip and defender is better then sgs for dark beasts. ive tested it, even while tanking. its far better then whip and dfs also. I wouldnt tank without an sgs and a unicorn though. though your probly best off pro melee with piety

Id like to ask a question here myself. Is barbarian heavy rod fishing still the best exp in the game? I been away around 2 months or so. I value my time at say 1.4m an hour. I value agility exp at say 5-10 gp /exp if someone had all the exp rates and cash rates of these new fish an hour so i could do a formula to see whats more effective to me, those or barb heavy rod fishing that would be great. or if someone just has an answer and why its better to do either method. Right now im only getting 90 fish, but i guess after that i gotta make the decision of which fish to catch sorry not trying to hijack this thread, just feels silly making a 2nd fishing thread for high level question on same page

Pray flash 10/15% str at spiders would probly be the best. (can you still pray flash or has that not been fixed yet?). str pots every 5 minutes

Yep I will confirm 100% that they stack, i used the zerker combo for slayer before I got an ss

admiral pies are dirt cheap now for a bit of a better boost. I used those and granite lob when i did a litlte bit of fishing this week. seemed to help a bit

Broad bolts for 1 person 3k is enough. Broad bolts for training/profit 3k is not enough. Broad bolts are no longer trainable basically Same for arrows which really sucks because i was gonna get 99 fletch with them as its around 600k exp/hour. now i cant train with them. ge prices for them is over 60 ea now, and very hard to buy at max so its not even worth trying. Been stuck doing addy arrows. bleh, most people going for 200m fletch who didnt buy the amount outright are probly very upset about that.
