Both my computers are giving this message, neither have ever had problems connecting. There is no firewall issues or internet issues im aware of. Anyone else having this problem, or offer a solution to help? Ive tried restarting and reconnecting internet but neither has fixed it Edit: seems masses of people on RSOF have exact same problem EDIT: problem seems to be fixed for now =]

Leaf bladed sword is the best melee weapon for mithril dragons, not sure if its better at steels than a whip but it may be true

That's why you use mithril armor, because it's so much cheaper. Dragonfire shield is trash for slayer, only usable tasks should be black listed except maybe miths and wyverns, in which it barely helps anyways. Defender is usually at least 5k-10k exp more an hour or more compared to dfs

theres no way to make junk items faster then real money in most cases. dont bother unless its accumulated over a long period of time, or if you bought a different item for its street price and got junk as a result

Yeah i play around 3-4 hours a day give or take, which can be a fair amount.

im 134cb in 1 year. I played 6 of those months f2p. In short yes very easy

I prefer broad bolts with my void on slayer tasks. I used knives for a bit but I find I kill faster with the bolts

You can but its a huge pain in the butt. I never brought a bow or mage when I did it, and it was very annoying lol.

I range every task I can with void. If I cant tank in void ill melee it with 10% str pray. I still need 3m slayer exp for 99, ill only get 1.5m off 99 range, so why bother ranging bad tasks when I can melee them more efficiently and still end with 99 slayer and range but in less time. and piety speeds my tasks up 5-10 minutes for the cost of like 100-200k. Its not worth it to me.... ill have to be making over 1m an hour for it to be cost efficient imo Not sure who im talking to here really, but thats my stand point on prayers and range during slayer lol

Piety has like the same rate as chivalry drain rate. except chivalry stinks in comparison. I Think verac skirt prossy top, fury, trimmed cape is a great pray combo for pray boost. 11 pray bonus piety/chivarly wont last long at all and wouldnt be worth it. I just use bandos top/bottom, fury,trimmed cape (11 pray boost) its fine for 10% but anything more your pray wont last. I highly recommend the +10% str prayer. I hit 5 less with that then i do with piety but i still rip through tasks (i hit 46 with whip vs 51 with whip) the accuracy bonus is nice but barely warrants the extra 10-20 ppots a task.

Black demons are great exp with a combat familar and great charms You will pray melee the whole task though. I average 60-90 crims a task on them and around 40 other charms to boot (gold/green/blue) They are also decent range exp I would block Irons and steels for sure. Skip hellhounds, if you unlocked terrorbirds they could be blocked, black dragons are blockable or you can kill babies/kbd.

Godswords fail on slayer. I have an sgs which I use purely for spec (and str trained with it on dark beast tasks) and the spec is very nice but the ss out performs it badly in terms of exp/hour. take this from someone who slayed all his stats and has tried every weapon/armor combo for best results

Brine rats would be something much better then banshees as an example.

From personal experince d scim with defender fails compared to sara sword. especially for slayer when you fight things like waterfiends and gargoyles. Its also usually 5-10k hour faster exp when I was using it on task compared to scim DFS fails miserably as Defender with whip gets more exp, and the defense isnt needed for any slayer task. I sold my dfs a week after I bought its trash. Sell DFS go with sara sword I could easily tank nechs with sarasword and bunyip at 85 defense, only eat a few pizzas tops, which is one of the harder hitting tasks

Banshees are bad exp (22 hp) and very spread out. They drop mainly good and green charms (the bad ones) and are far away from a bank. I highly disadvise them. (13 pure ess is like 2k these days, not even)

They are both pretty crummy tasks reguardless. The wild dogs at greaters makes them skipped/blocked till 127 cb, and hounds are often crowded and have no drops, (the gold charms arent worth it really) I skip them 100%. Which slayer master are you using and whats your other 2 blocked monsters atm?

They do, But however the 10% accuracy bonus does stack with mask BUT barrows gloves provide a better accuracy boost/str boost, so its best to equip these when the dragon is at low hp, for the free exp.

Slayer helm stacks with both pots and prayer. It does not stack with salve(e)

you can only buy or sell the same item 4 hours after you buy or sell it im 99% sure

godsword with slayer helm is far slower then spear or ss at fiends. I think same goes for void, it may be ok if your using piety for the pray bonus but Im not sure :P

For all sorts of training and slayer, yes I use rune defender as its better exp per hour and the extra defense of dfs isnt needed. For all bosses I use SGS or ags if I melee it. It might be handy for arma or ranging bosses. But as a melee shield In my opinion its not worth even 3m, because defender is superior in 95% of situations.

I think its horrible. Just my opinion, sold it a week after I bought it

with 5% str pray I get 70-75k exp an hour melee, and 40-60k an hour range (with void) with knives or broad bolts (depends on task)
