  1. Misunderstood. I myself am often misunderstood as a nationalist; although, all I want is for socialism to cease to exist in the United Kingdom.
  2. Kashiwa Daisuke - 5 Dec. Track #1 - Red Moon
  3. Downloading as I post this. Currently running Windows 7 32bit build 7000. Smoothest OS I've used in years.
  4. what??? you call that post-hardcore??? Alexisonfire - To a friend Yes, it's post-hardcore. Post-hardcore is pretty much anything from alternative rock with hardcore influences right down to hardcore-influenced doom metal (i.e. sludge) such as Neurosis. Japanese post-hardcore is alternative/indie/progressive rock played in the style of hardcore punk. My Bloody Valentine - Touched
  5. Koenjihyakkei - Zhess Zeuhl, zeuhl, zeuhl.
  6. A lot of you could take a few hints from this list, you know, expand your horizons and the like. It's probably the best one posted so far. Nice to see Warning, Japan, Can, Faust etc.!
  7. ??? - ?????????????? This album (f*cking tip.it censor ruining my link. I can't post the cover because well, some fool would report it) has to be one of the creepiest things ever. It's basically jazz-hardcore that fades into cute pop songs. It's just unsettling for some reason.
  8. Mass of the Fermenting Dregs - Highlight Post-hardcore from Kobe. Probably a band for How2PK and Intriguing to check out. qUpacRemMCA Mind the sh*te quality, though.
  9. I'm still yet to check it out. I'll definitely look it up later on today, though. Magma - Da Zeuhl Wortz Mëkanïk And, did you? :P My Brightest Diamond - Feak Out! I forgot. ;_; Sigh - Inked in Blood
  10. This is kind of opposite to me. I'm quite calm - quiet, but harsh. I'm a [bleep], but it seems as if people respect me for getting straight to the point, not bluffing and generally putting people in their places. However, I believe this all stems from my own personal defensiveness. Off the Internet, I don't open up at all. I'm a very closed person and few people really know the details of my life or what I do. I choose to be this way, though. I'm very flat and deadpan and I don't show much emotion. I'm pretty good people-wise - I have a lot of people who I would call friends, and they're gradually trying to help me pull out of the hole I've dug for myself. It feels pretty good.
  11. I'm 5'8" and I sure as hell don't consider myself short. Yeah, because its you. Though at some point, you're bound to consider yourself short when you're around some people. Well, compared to some 6 footers, I'm small. I've always thought of myself as around average height though.

  13. I would think the opposite is true. If you hate the world then that is more of an incentive to go through with your career and change whatever you wanna change. Could you imagine what Nirvana would be like if Kurt was a cheerful guy? :P You could work that way too, I suppose. But the lack of happiness is pretty draining on my motivation. I'm pretty sure I'll find something that I really want to do soon enough, though. Thinking about applying for a job at a local computer shop.
  14. Yui - Love & Truth She has such a sweet voice.
  15. I really need to sort my [bleep]ing life out before I even decide on what to do with the future. It's kind of hard to do when you haven't found any consistent happiness in a while.
  16. Along with Haruhi and Code Geass, the most overrated anime in existence right there. Those anmes actually deserve an anime fan's attention rather than crap like Naruto or Bleach. Not really. They get enough damned attention as it is. There are lots of things that I think deserve more praise than I see thrown around. Haruhi wasn't bad by any means, but it's just so horrendously overrated. I was actually disappointed with it in parts because my anime friends had hyped it up to the point where I had to just give in and watch it - I'm pleased that I did, because some of it is actually very solid. It's the best series that Kyoto Animation has ever adapted, that's for sure. As for things that I think deserve more praise: Texhnolyze. Sure, I've only watched the first episode of it, but I can already tell it's a masterpiece; hell, anything that Yoshi ABe had any involvement in is a masterpiece. There are some really beautiful series out there tucked away behind all the stuff that's pushed to the majority. However, anime fans are largely blinded by the big shows instead of going on and opening themselves up to things that aren't aimed at a mainstream audience. Then, the anime fans wonder why the average person hates anime when all the person in question has probably watched are shows such as Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, Naruto, Bleach, et cetera. I, for one, am definitely for more people enjoying animated shows as well as non-animated; but when some of the shows that are pushed are incessantly stupid, it's hard for some to enjoy it.
  17. Just saying that this is pretty rare. I've resized my Windows partition multiple times, and not once have I had it fail on me. If you use something like GParted, you can't really go wrong. I'm pretty f*ckin' stoked for this RC. It's about time I upgraded from XP too. I can't simply pass up a year's free Windows, either. It's almost too good to be true. Here's to the RC being stable and a pleasure to use!
  18. Black Sabbath - Behind the Wall of Sleep

I'm like this naturally, all the time.

  21. If you want something that you just think "F*CK YEAH AWESOME" after watching, you can't go wrong with Baccano!. It's one of my favourite series. Some other stuff I think you should check out: Haibane Renmei Serial Experiments Lain Boogiepop Phantom Aria the Animation Higurashi no Naku Koro ni <-- this one is absolutely essential for anyone new to anime. It's basically the 'transition' that opens you up to more stuff. That said, I'm pretty casual when it comes to anime. I'm probably not the best to take recommendations off. Speaking of Aria the Animation, Alice is absolute love.
  22. Not just /b/; more like, the WHOLE of 4chan. In all fairness, he IS pretty influential.
