  1. I take it you're from the USA? From what I've heard, the radio music seems to be pretty different from what I hear where I live. All I get is harmless pop-rock (with the exception of The Script. Bloody horrible). It's fun to listen to simple music sometimes.
  2. The irony in this is that most people who say this listen to music that is potentially radio-friendly. Not saying that you do personally; just throwing this out there. Depends on what you class as "radio-friendly", just about any song with lyrics that don't contain curse words are pretty much radio-friendly, however, they don't all get played. On the radio, its mostly repeated crap. Yeah, I listen to potentially radio-friendly music also - which is why I never say I hate everything on the radio. I enjoy a large portion of stuff on the radio when I'm in the car or just want some random background music, come to think of it. I used to be all "RADIO IS BAD" when I was going through my metalhead phase, mind.
  3. I would! Dohoho, aren't I just so funny? Anyway, yeah, most of the artists I 'steal' from have CDs that are out of print, or extortionate import charges on their CDs. Even on eBay, some can fetch up to about £50, which is still extortionate for a CD; if it were the vinyl release of said album, I wouldn't mind at all.
  4. God I hate mIRC scripting. Everytime I learn it I forget it in a month. This is actually how I learned how to do it, in a way. Basically, starting from scratch every couple of months and refreshing my memory. Now I've come to realise that it was the most useless thing I've ever wasted my time on.

    Reading

As I said, I'm not one for fiction, but I do think "The Hobbit" is very good.
  7. I've heard that Jesu's later albums can't really hold up to Jesu and Silver but I haven't tried them out yet. Nothing can top Silver in my book though. (And good quote in your sig. ) Conqueror is beautiful, especially the track "Weightless & Horizontal". It's more shoegaze and less drone than their previous work; it's like a combination of the s/t and Silver. Coaltar of the Deepers - AOA

    Today...

Temporarily allowing pop-ups is probably all you need to do. (:

    Today...

Today was actually pretty good. I'm recovering from my small period of illness. I took a couple of nice, long walks out in the fresh air, which is something that's becoming a regular activity for me nowadays. I'm now foruming and listening to music whilst proof-reading my technical writing and creative writing to send into school on Monday. Life is looking up!

    Reading

I love to read anything that is based on solid fact. Fiction in any form is undesirable unless it's either a play, or poetry; and then, I much prefer to read a play or poem that is based on either historical fact or something that happened in the life of the playwright/author. I think I find fiction tedious because I was force-fed boring book after boring book from year 7 upward. Up until then, I had been reading various articles of non-fiction. I'm certainly not looking forward to studying 'Of Mice and Men'. However, I did find J.B. Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls' absolutely enthralling to read. I didn't get a chance to see it performed on stage, though. I guess I'm quite closeminded when it comes to literature, but I like reading non-fiction and expanding my general knowledge.
  11. Jesu - Conqueror I need to get my hands on Jesu/Battle of Mice, Jesu/Envy and Why are We Not Perfect.
  12. It did all that in a few minutes for me. That said, I do have a relatively powerful processor and related stuff.
  13. I used FF on the beta... Was one of the first things I installed actually. He was talking about the download manager that MS used for the beta, heh.

  15. Yeah it's what dsavi said it is. I think it feels awesome; sometimes I try to induce it on purpose, with questionable success.
  16. Indeed you do. Windows installs its own bootloader and you're given a choice of "Earlier Version of Windows" or "Windows 7". Just be forewarned - you will most likely encounter Chkdsk when you boot into XP after resizing. Don't panic; just let it run its cause and you'll be using XP again after a reboot.
  17. Well, you'll get an option to shrink your current partition in GParted. After shrinking, format the unallocated space to NTFS, and when you install Windows 7, select the newly-created partition to install into. Simple as that. (: Also, GParted is far less cumbersome than using computer management in my experience.
  18. Yeah. GParted is as simple as boot up, resize, reboot, install.
  19. Oh. Being a weeaboo [bleep] is cool here. Nothing makes me rage more than obnoxious weeaboos and their twisted vision of actual Japanese culture.
  20. At the moment, I'm using avast! and Windows Firewall. Dedicated software firewalls annoy the hell out of me.
  21. Welcome to England. We're at the point where everything that the higher-ups don't approve of ban. My country has turned to complete [cabbage] ever since we adopted this government; thus proving that socialism does not work in the real world. You see, people are corrupt. Socialism is, in fact, a brilliant idea. A brilliant idea, on paper only. In actual fact, and this has been proven by my country, it's just a stepping stone to capitalism. @magekillr: Same with me, I don't approve of banning anything that condemns freedom of speech and / or expression, unless it is significantly detrimental enough to warrant a banning.

  23. Well, currently on 7100. It's so smooth and intuitive. Only problem is Aero seems to die if I switch my monitor off / leave my PC idling. Whether that's intentional or not, I don't know. (Seeing as it returned when I moved my mouse)
