Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!
I'm not sure why you're so totally against outside advice, it really ruins your guides. A task like that? Nechs. Another one? Fire Giants. Dust Devils. Waterfiends. Dragons. Need I say more? These tasks all require minimal healing, perhaps 7-10 hp every 15-20 seconds at most. With a Bunyip Trout or Salmon is BEYOND sufficient to last you an entire task and is so cheap as to be free food basically. Edit: Also, in case you never realised, you can eat WHILE hitting, this means you don't lose that second eating. Effectively if you pot and eat while hitting the monster you don't lose the time, which on the road to 99 Slayer saves you in total about 10-15 hours according to Zarfot. You should look at his guide, it's extremely informative and gives a lot of the experience/hour and money/hour associated with Slayer.

Guide to Killing the Corporeal Beast
Just a tip, I've noticed when the Corp beast is hit over 35 damage, it'll release a Core and automatically attack whoever hit it; because of this its probably better to kill the Core if you see it, it makes the kill faster and wastes less food, especially if the majority are meleer's not ranger's.

Jad, is hard. Some people don't dream of killing him even. I have managed to kill him 3 times, and i still have slow-motion adrealine rush when i fight him :oops: Lol, you suck. Congrats, it's a nice cape to have. Is it necessary to act immature? Alot people don't have cape either. I am not saying it's not hard, just that it's not easy either. The fight cave lasts 1-2 hours, and even so: at Jad is when the real fight starts. But i find Jad easy, but i still get adrealine slowmotion-.- If you've done it one time, the second time really isn't that hard. 1st is of course a bit harder, but on if you have done 5 tries, you should be able to get it easily. Do YOU even have a Fire Cape? And as a matter in fact, doing Jad is in a lot of peoples opinions the only hard part of RuneScape, where it comes down to actual skill, not just mindless clicking. Fire Cape is hard, a LOT more people don't have a Fire Cape then those who actually do.

And you told him that his guide is copied basically from the Knowledge Base and made a sarcastic bash of it, I found that Pig headed and arrogant. Don't critic the fact hes opted to add additional information, thats a good thing, not a bad one. -.-

Wow dude, I never realised you were such an arse. Just because you've written a decent Summoning guide doesn't mean you can go around bashing other people's guides. Where in the Knowledge Base does it mention how to safespot monsters in F2P, and the advantages and disadvantages of each training spot? Oh, it doesn't. :roll: I'm not trying to an arse. I'm telling him he should remove bonuses of each equipment. Although I could have worded it better... #-o But bashing? Come on now. I could have worded it better, but it's not bashing. I edited my post to better reflect my opinion. Without the sarcasm. (And the super mega thingy was a joke...) Being frank with you I'm yet to see a post on another players guide by you which isn't Pig-headed or ignorant. This is called "The Ultimate Ranged Guide" Hence the author added ALL the information available on it. Some of us would prefer to have the info and guide here, rather then flicking through Tip.It to find the other half of the guide. One of the best guides on Tif, little bit outdated though. 10/10 For sure. :thumbup:

Missformed? How about you read the thread first, shes going for the first 99 slayer with 10 hp, by cannoning, and shes already 78 slayer. Last I looked, getting 78 Slayer purely off a cannon would give you a decent idea of how well you hit with what gear at what level. Edit: Heres a link to her topic http://www.zybez.net/community/index.ph ... pic=950717 . Shes 85 range purely cannoning from level one, I think this holds a slight bit more validity over 60 Gorillas.

Check Villandra's slayer thread on RSC, cannons accuracy is affected by level, but I don't think range bonus. Majority of range bonus comes from a range weapon equipped, seems odd that a cannon would scale with a bow.. :?

I had them blocked 'till I read this guide, I used to hate them now I don't mind them. Plus please point out how else we are meant to know how to kill these efficiently if theres no guide on them. 10/10 Love the guide, and its lay out, TL;DR is a load of [cabbage] in my opinion, I prefer detail such as you've given.

Corp beast guide, for small teams, decent IQ required
Firstly, you misspelled "Level" in your opening statement. Also, Karil and Verac is USELESS here, you want stat bonus's not defence, use Proselyte, full incl helm, its higher Prayer and costs 25k to replace. Remember, the Beast's damage is NOT affected by defence bonus, he hits same as often on all armour. Also, use Climbing boots, this enables you to keep zammy spear, glory and a Dragon dagger(If you bought one which is a good idea.). Also, ensure they understand to MAGE pray, it takes his max down from 67+ to about 52. The invent I'd also disagree with, 3 Prayer potions, a super set and sharks is the best from my experience. Piety and pro mage are fairly necessary here, or else it takes wayyy to long to kill and hits for more overall damage. Decent guide though, pics are great : :thumbup:

Ooo I actually got replies Lol. Thanks for the posts guys, I guess I'll continue updating then O.o. Quite a lote has happened since last post... 85 Slayer, 97 Attack and Strength, 1900 total, other random levels etc. Atm, I'm slowly working on maxing my melees, I'm around 650k off 98 Strength, then I'll get Attack and get both to 99 at same time :thumbsup: . I'm not a huge fan of parties, but I might if I feel like it. Let's see... Interesting things.. Uhh.. Yesterday I did Corp for a few hours, 5 man at first, Munkeebop got a Elixir 5th Kill lol. Now that I had Lsp, I went to a mass with Kiwi and Viet. Got 3 drops in total after 5+ hours. Lol. Then I went trio Arma, C key, Loop half and a Shard :roll: -.- . Was fun? O I also gained 75 Summoning sometime this week I think, Mantis is pro tank :lol: . That's about it for now, I'll update later tonight.

Very well written guide, I have one bit of advice though; the Suqahs. Instead of going where you currently are, there are 3 spawns towards the altar, still in multi except these ones don't cast ancient magics on you, so you save food. Other then that, theres a couple of spelling errors, which I'm sure you'll pick up on, I've noticed you've got a lot of them already : . Well done! :thumbup:

What is better: New Skills or Upgraded Ones+Level Cap
lol +1 imo summoning boosting cb is lame. how does making pouches and cojuring up spirits make u a better fighter? I have an idea for agility, mayb like armor that reduced weight (lightness boots, spottier cape) or recharges run faster or allows you to run for longer First off, Summoning is NOT a "window dressing" skill. Sure, a lot of the familiars are basically chaff, but there are a few that make the skill one of the best new ones, and certainly a whole lot more useful than original ones (firemaking anyone?) Beasts of Burden, especially the Spirit Terrorbird, are incredibly useful for farming, most gathering skills, and some bosses. Most of the Titans are pretty good PvM in multicombat areas. Unicorns are truly amazing for boss hunting and camping at monsters in single combat More to the point of the thread though, I think they really need to update old skills before creating new ones. Firemaking is almost completely useless. Smithing was obsolete years and years ago. Hunter has 2 useful products. Combat magic has been neglected to the point where it's vastly inferior to range and melee. Thieving has one useful, unique "drop". There are just too many flaws with the existing content to justify adding several new skills a year. As for increasing the level cap, 99s are already enough of a grind. I'd hate to see that worsened, not to mention the increased glut of finished products on the market that would come with it. I agree with everything you said: expect level cap. I believe that level cap should only be raised for some skills. Combat skills mostly. But the one that i am sure is realistic to raise CAP in is Hitpoints. 99 HP is to little: we have seen Corporeal Beast, if they release a boss that's stronger than Corporeal: then we'll get owned. As for Combat magic: i wish they fixed it so it was equal to range or melee. Cause magic is fun skill \ For other peoples comments about level cap As i said: level cap should only go for combat skills (and Jagex should take it 1 step at time). There is nothing stopping you from leveling a skill or a other. So getting 200M experience in a skill, is far impossible. It's more of a priority of what skill you want to level: and what is your favourite skill. Example: i would keep on leveling my melee skills if it was more than 99 to get, and leave all other skilling skills alone. Ok, first off the Corporeal Beast won't "Own" everyone once the new shield gets spread more. If you didn't notice, it was designed specifically for high end boss fights. "Reduces all damage taken by 30%". This takes the Beasts most potent attack, with a max of 65, and makes it hit 40ish. It rarely uses the move as it is, with most of its moves hitting between 30-45. 30% off these is what, 20-35? That's easily healed through. There is no need for a new Hitpoint cap, anything that CAN 2 hit you will only do so if you don't use the correct method to fight it. The Beast may even be soloable in a few months, by someone with the Shield. Ok maybe not, but 2-3 manned perhaps? As monsters evolve in RuneScape as does our itemisation and strategies. There will never be a reason to have 105+ Hitpoints, simple strategy and a knowledge of what can happen makes it simple to manage with only 99. If you enjoy a combat, train it up. If you level purely for the cape, perhaps reassert your priorities in game, you should do what you enjoy, not what everyone else does. 99 Cooking is just as much of an achievement as 99 Agility, as long as the skill is enjoyable to YOU. Screw everyone elses opinion, be an individual and you'll find 100x the reward and satisfaction. I love Magic, its my highest skill. However, my Hitpoints is catching up, so to pass my time I'll raise Magic, a skill I love and enjoy to train. You aren't forced to skill, and if you listen to the idiots who post pathetic rates on achievements in Rate This! then perhaps you should stop reading Tif and go to RSOF. If you like combat, set a new goal. Get 20m exp, 25m, 30m. Find the passion and dedication you had while getting it to 99 and apply it again. If all you wanted was the cape, re-think what you truly want to do in RuneScape. Wow, that was a bit off topic.. Anyway, new items will be released with new monsters, preventing the need for a higher Hitpoint cap. When Jad came out, everyone was cursing it, claiming it to be impossible. Now with simple hand eye co-ordination this once impossible beast is a simple goblin, albeit one who can kill you in 1-2 hits ;) . Corporeal Beast came out with new shields; Jagex have confirmed that even the Spirit Shield will reduce his damage. Hence the gear means we don't need higher hp. RuneScape is a game which focuses on the Multiplayer aspect; I love the Beast as it bring us together, and allows us to be more social with our friends. If all you do is solo, perhaps you should stick to GodWars. In summary, as this is a massive wall of text; New items come out with hard monsters, eliminating the need for a new cap. Skills need more added to them, not a new cap, as 99 is beyond sufficient. Seriously I would rant my [wagon] off if they raised the level cap, I already busted my [wagon] for 99, 105? No thanks.

They can't raise the level cap. Say we get reset back to 13m experience right. What happens if we were 190m experience in the stat BEFORE this new cap? We are now stuck at 190m exp on HighScores even if we are 30m again in game. Plus 99 is beyond efficient, the Armadyl Godsword hits 79s, true, but rarely does it hit over 50-60. Add in the fact it only has 2 specs, and then that if you're in a position to actually lose an item you'd have food with you, 99 hp is beyond sufficient. Also, raising the cap would be a huge issue for those of us who aren't maxed melee. I think we need additions to skills, most of our Skills were originally designed with the idea no-one was going to get a 99 in it, this simple design flaw is the root of most of the issues. Most skills, up untill Construction, have NOTHING of use past 85ish. Farming stops at 80, Defence 70, 75 for Dfs, Attack 75, Herblore 80, Mining 85 etc. Jagex need to just replan skills past that 85 point. Also, it would be AWSOME if they could impliment skill clothing past 99, such as a 20m mark, 30m etc. Possibly a top, hat, bottom and boots. 20m is hat, 30m top, 40m bottom, 50m boots then for every 20m experience past this they become trimmed. The reason a new level cap would piss everyone off is because honestly, we just grinded out 13 million experience. Even with Cooking, which is an EASY 200k Exp/h thats 65 hours. For 13m. Do we honest to god want to waste ANOTHER 65 hours for 105? I know I sure as hell don't. Training a skill to 99 is beyond enough of a challenge to me, I'll never get over 50m in a skill, I just plain can't stand training so much. A clothing reward would be really nice to see, but levelling is just way beyond me. I'm not a big fan of new skills, I didn't like Cons, was a rediculous waste of money, I hated Hunter it puts me to sleep. I must admit, Summoning is a GREAT skill though. Perhaps we could get more combat styles? Perhaps an offshot of Agility, which has a chance to reduce how much damage we take, and gives us a chance to dodge the attack all together. This would also solve the "Not enough Hp" issue which is raging around a lot lately. That's my 2 cents on the issue anyway : .

my first cape - 99 FLETCHING
10/10 My first 99 was Fletching as well, and I didn't get my second 99 for like 2 years afterwards. I don't care if its buyable, it's a damn 99 and people should accept the fact. Herblore is buyable, 10x faster and same amount of clicking, yet people see it > Fletching. Pathetic really. Back on topic; grats and get up your Slayer :thumbup: .

[DONE] Corporeal Beast lvl 785- Info & Drops
The price is 85m on the g.e and it has a 10% leeway.. 85m-10% = 77.5m Can you please explain how to split 77.5m into equal 5m portions? I can't.. The item is also currently not able to be traded on the Grand Exchange. I'm guessing Jagex have decided to split a certain amount for now and have a look at what players are trading the item at before setting a new price for it.
