  6. [hide=Crown of Zaros (untradeable)]During the 2nd age, when there was a revolt against Zaros led by Zamorak, the crown of Zaros was stolen by the Mahjarrat. Zamorak hide it on the location of the modern day treasure room of Zaros. It was not the stolen crown which made Zaros mad, because he didn't notice it. Now, back to the crown. You can attach a gem and enchant it. Each gem has its own powers. Each crown can be enchanted at an obelisk. A crown works for 24 hours, after these 24 hours, you have to recharge it at the corresponding obelisk. If you want to put another gem in it, you can pick your gem out of the gem slot in the crown. If you lose your crown, there will be a spawn in the treasure room. Gem: None Crown name: Crown of Zaros Power: Can teleport you to the treasure room if you operate it. Bonuses: +2 Prayer. Obelisk: None Examine: Hail to the king! Gem: Sapphire Crown name: Crown of Magic Power: Decreases the damage of Magic spells by 0 - 20% (differs each hit). Bonuses: Attack: Magic +8. Defence: Magic +8. Obelisk: Obelisk of Essence: Located in the non-member dungeon just north of Port Sarim. Examine: Wizards won't hurt me that hard anymore! Gem: Emerald Crown name: Crown of Nature Power: Poison and disease takes between 20 - 50% less 'damage' (differs each infliction). If you operate it, it stops poison/disease (lowers your timer by 1 hour). Bonuses: Defence: +4 in all. Obelisk: Nature Obelisk: Located in the Enchanted Valley (fairy ring code BKQ). Examine: A cure for poison and disease. Gem: Ruby Crown name: Crown of Protection Power: Gives good defence bonuses, but gives negative attack bonuses. Bonuses: Attack: All -7. Defence: All +20. Obelisk: Obelisk of Protection: Located in the Warriors Guild. Examine: This will protect me from powerful attacks. Gem: Diamond Crown name: Holy Crown Power: Your prayer points decrease 10 - 25% slower (differs each point). Bonuses: Others: Prayer +12. Obelisk: Obelisk of Gods: Located in the middle of the God Wars dungeon. Examine: A crown enchanted by godly magic. Gem: Dragonstone Crown name: Crown of Dragons Power: Increases your Strength by 10%, but lowers your defence by 10% (invisible). Obelisk: Dragon Obelisk: Located in the most southern point of the Brimhaven Dungeon. Examine: A powerful crown, but its better if I have low defence. Gem: Onyx Crown name: Crown of Greed Power: Protects stacked items on death. The stack with the highest quantity, gets protected. Bonuses: Defence: All +9. Obelisk: Obelisk of Death: Located in the Lava Maze in level 40+ wilderness. Examine: Now I can finally take money with me to buy wilderness capes! Notes: If you die, it protects your stack, but it loses its charge. Gem: Lunar Crystal Crown name: Crown of Wishes Power: Increases all of your skills by 5%. Bonuses: Attack: All +10. Defence: All +10. Others: Both +7. Obelisk: Lunar Obelisk: Located in a dungeon on Lunar Isle. Examine: This crown seems to fill my needs! Notes: Works for 12 hours in stead of 24 hours.[/hide] Yay or nay? : Tell me if you support!
  7. Support on the RSOF if you can, please. Supporting on the RSOF has more effect. I can't put any names in the list when they didn't post. So please go to the RSOF. QFC: 80-81-495-57909466. (link automatically changed to www.[scam].com?) Hunt for Treasure Difficulty: Hard Length: Long Start Point: Talk to the archaelogist in the Bandit Camp. Required: Quests: Desert Treasure, Spirit of Summer, Dragon Slayer. Skills: 55 mining, 56 thieving, 51 agility, 64 strength. Items: Spade, any pickaxe, lockpicks, Jennica's Ring. Suggested: Quests: None Skills: None Items: Anti-dragon shield. Summary: The archaelogist in the Bandit Camp found a mysterious map, which might lead to a great treasure. But, a piece of the map is torn off, so he can't locate where it is. If you help him, he promises to share the loot with you. Can you help him recover the torn map part, and find the great treasure he is talking of? 1. The start Talk to the archaelogist in the Bandit Camp. Archaelogist: Hey, ! I need your help! You: Oh, hello. How can I be of use? Archaelogist: I found this mysterious map, but a part of it is torn off. It seems that it leads to a great treasure! Could you search for the part for me? You: Only if I get a fair share of the loot! The torn map part could be in a dangerous place! Archaelogist: Hmm. Okay, you'll get 25% of the treasure. You: 50%. Archaelogist: 30%? You: No, 50%. Archaelogist: What about 35%? You: I want 50%. Archaelogist: Hmpf. Well, okay then. But I'll get the fame. You: That seems good to me. It's a deal. Archaelogist: Well, what are you waiting for? Lets search for the lost part! You: Okay, there I go! As you see, a piece of the map is torn off, so he can't locate where it is. Once again, he needs your help. The piece is located in the Azzandra's Pyramid, in the throne room. There will be a crack in the ground, which can be opened with a pickaxe. Go inside the hole, you will be inside a tunnel. The tunnel is a multi-combat zone, and contains Giant Rats (level 66, 78 hits, maxhit 7), Giant Spiders (level 74, 88 hits, maxhit 8), Giant Bats (level 82, 98 hits, maxhit 9), and Giant Scorpions (level 96, 114 hits, maxhit 12). In the end of the tunnel, you find a little chest. Try to open the lock, but it won't budge, it is imbued with way too powerful magic. There's a crack in the tunnel wall. If you go through it, you find a Spirit Realm portal. Get Jennica's Ring, and enter the portal. Then, close the chest in the spirit realm, and it will be opened in the normal realm. Leave the spirit realm, and open the chest. It contains the diary of a member of the old Mahjarrat tribe. Go to the Digsite, and ask an expert to translate the language, like in Desert Treasure. The book says: Day 1. "Zamorak, our leader, is planning to steal Zaros' place as God. I, and the other Mahjarrat members, are going to help him." Day 2. "We thought of a plan to steal Zaros' godhood, we're planning to start a revolt and threaten him." Day 3. "Today is the day, we are going to push Zaros off his throne. Zamorak and the Mahjarrat tribe are going to Zaros' throne room, to threaten him, and to destroy his throne room. Zaros got so mad, that he started the God Wars. Then, I quickly stole his throne, hanging on his throne. I have put the throne in a safe cavern, so Zaros won't find it. I made a map leading to the treasure, so my grandchildren could once find the treasure, and could be rich and famous. They live on an island called Crandor." It seems the member has hide the crown in some sort of cavern. But, how did the archaelogist get the map? There are two options. Or, he is a grandchild of the Mahjarrat member, or, he found the map piece on Crandor. You return to the archaelogist, and ask him if he has found it on Crandor. You: Hey. Archaelogist: Well hello, . Have you found the map piece yet? You: No, but I have found this diary. It says that a member of an old tribe called the Mahjarrat has stolen Zaros' crown, and that he has hide it on the island called Crandor. Archaelogist: That's, that's impossible! Then that member must be a forfather of me! You: How do you know that? Archaelogist: My father told me his mother gave it to him, and his mother got it from her father, etcetera. So, that forfather must've been a secret member of the Mahjarrat! You: So your forfather was a follower of Zamorak! Archaelogist: Yes, my father told me that all family members and ex-family members were Saradomin's followers. That's why my forfather was a secret member of the Mahjarrat! You: But, why didn't your parents, or their parents, search for the treasure? Archaelogist: Well, they were'nt interested in wealth, because they had a good life on Crandor, and they didn't want any danger in their life. But, now we have the diary, isn't there something written about the torn part? You: No, it seems it has been torn apart after your forfather lived. Archaelogist: Hmm, how could we find it, then? You: That's a good question! I'll start searching, maybe it is somewhere on Crandor... You start searching on Crandor. When you look into the home of Elvarg, you see the map part laying in a corner. Get in his cave, and take the map piece. There is a big pile of rocks laying on the map piece. Lift them by picking them up with your strength. Once you got the part, run out of the cave, and return to the Archaelogist. Give the map part, and you're ready to go to Crandor! Go to Ned, and ask him to sail to Crandor with you one more time. This time, the ship won't get destroyed. In the western lowest part of Crandor, dig with your spade several times. You will find a strange object. In the wall next to the spot, there will be a strange hole. Put the object in the hole, and the wall will open. You will be in a tunnel, which contains Giant Scorpions, Giant Rats, Giant Spiders and Giant Bats (explained earlier in this thread). The tunnel seems to end up in a centre cave. The cave seems to be a maze! Each passage of the cave contains a puzzle door. The puzzles are explained later in this suggestion. If you fail a puzzle, you will receive damage, fall in a trap bringing you to the cave centre, or get poisoned/diseased. Once you are at the end, there will be a door. If you try to pick the lock, the spirit of the forfather of the archaelogist will attack you (level 148, 224 hits, maxhit 18, uses melee and magic). Once you killed it, go through the door. You see piles of money, gems, and jewelry, but no crown! Go to the archaelogist and tell him about it. You: Hey! I found the treasure! But it was really dangerous, I... Archaelogist: Hey, calm down! Did you find the treasure? You: Yes! Archaelogist: That's great! Where is it? You: It is located on Crandor. The cave is a maze, which contained dangerous oversized monsters, traps, and puzzles, and at the end, the spirit of your forfather attacked me! Archaelogist: Wow, that sounds very dangerous! Well, what are we waiting for? Lets go! You: Yeah, yeah... calm down! Once at Crandor... Archaelogist: Hmm, how do we get to the treasure room now? I don't want to get attacked by those monsters! You: Hmm, that's right. I'm a mighty warrior, so I'll get rid of them for you! Archaelogist: Thanks! After you've killed all of the monsters, you and the archaelogist walk to the treasure room... Wow, take a look at this! This must be a great discovery! But, I see no crown... You: Could it be... gone? Archaelogist: Could be. But, it could also be hidden somewhere below the treasure! You: That's right! Lets search it![/i] Walk on the coin piles, and use your spade to find the crown... You: I found it! I found the crown! Archaelogist: Really? That's great! But, what's that strange hole into it? You: I don't know. *you hold a gem next to it, and see that a gem could easily fit in, if it's cut correctly.* Archaelogist: So, you can put gems in it... the value of the crown would be insanely high! You: I think so. But, you know what? You can have the gold, if I can have the crown. Archaelogist: Are you not giving it to the museum? You: Are you crazy? This is a beautiful status symbol! Archaelogist: But, think of the price they would pay you! You: I don't care. There's plenty of money laying here. You can have all of the money that lies here, if I can have the crown. Archaelogist: Hmm, I have to think about that... *a few moments later* Okay, you can have the crown. And because of your generosity, here's 100.000 gold pieces, and some of the gems and jewelry! You: Wow, thanks! It was good doing business with you! Archaelogist: I feel the same. Thanks for helping me! You think in yourself: Hehe, I didn't told him the part of the diary which said the crown contains magical powers, if it is enchanted! Congratulations, quest complete! Reward: 100K coins, Crown of Zaros, 1 dragonstone, 4 diamonds, 6 rubies, 8 emeralds, 2 Amulets of Power, 5 gold bars, 3 quest points. 8. Thanks! I got a question, same as in my other suggestion... how's the monster in your avatar called (the green dinosaurish thingy)?
  9. Added: It hits 15% harder on dragons (Note: If the user wields Dragonslayer Gloves or a Slayer Mask, you will not hit like 25%, 30% or even 40% higher, but just 10% or 15% higher). : Edit: Also changed the discount from 10% to 5%.
  10. It is the next skill. Lol. I'd like to see some proof besides "omg there r boats everywhere!" Search for 'Sailing proof Runescape' on youtube. ;)
  11. What about having an increased chance to hit somewhat more as the original hit? Front: +0% Side: +15% Back: +30% Example: You hit 20, when you attack from back, you could hit 26. Love/hate? ;) EDIT: To make cheating not possible, it would only count for the FIRST hit on the side/back.
  12. Great idea, full support! Maybe there could be a Speed Potion, which could increase the chance of hitting faster! : I also like the idea of the slash marks, but I think that should take much coding.
  13. Sailing is the following skill, there were several ways to find that out. I love the suggestion, the menu looks really good! I supportz!
  14. Wow. Sorry to say, worst suggestion I ever read. Why should you limit F2P even more? Only quick-chat would be like, every F2P'er = muted.
  15. Nice, I had this idea too, but it's not on these forums (anymore)! But, if it would hit a max of 25, AND come back, it's way too overpowered. You should make them break as well (requiring you to take multiple boomerangs with you). Also, I think roanlo is right, they should be made of wood, metal would be too heavy. Maybe make only the edge of metal?
  16. Maybe you could make a new POH item, a mailbox. This way, players can send letters to you. The amount of letters in your mailbox should be limited, depending on which size your mailbox is (higher construction, higher size). Max should be like 20.
  17. Yeah I have compared them with the whip, barrelchest anchor etc. It is weaker as the Barrelchest Anchor, but stronger as the whip. It is an addition to the Ring of Wealth, too.
  18. Oops... I guess I made a fault...
