Weekly Poll: What weekly website feature do you enjoy most?
I had to go with the Tip.it Times. I love the poll and the hot topic, but goodness, some of the Tip.it Times articles are pretty good, especially the ones a while back that were interviews with top ranked players.

3rd April 2009 - Forums for High level F2P'ers!
Personally, I am very glad that they are allowing high level F2Pers to have forum access, depending on what JAGEX calls "high level", which from past experience, is not very high. Truly high level F2Pers are some of the most dedicated players in the game, so it will be nice having their input. Just please, no advertisements in the forums... Oh! And for goodness' sake... Stop with the "we are paying for F2P servers. They don't deserve this." That is what advertisements are for. That is why there are everywhere except P2P areas of the game. You lease the advertising spot for a predetermined amount of time and money. That's how advertisements work. We pay for our own *advertisement free* servers.

Noobs say the funniest things!
As a girl, I get a lot of junk from players. Here's the best one. Noob: Wow. You're hot. Me: Thank you. Noob: Do you have a house in RS? Me: Yep! Noob: Do you like it? Me: Yea, it's ok. Noob: Do you have a bedroom in it? Me: Yes. Noob: Is there a bed? Me: Yes. Noob: Can I come over and we can do things? Me: No. Noob: I have an itch. I no longer have a bedroom in my house.

Void is totally worth/not with it?
As a person who has the mage set, it is completely worthless. I am still too bored with Pest Control to go back and get the other helms.

"You attack first! No you attack first!"
The whole "You attack first," thing is stupid. I see it all the time, though it's less prevalent now with the new PvP system. As for the whole prayer argument, if you have it, use it. That's why it's there. I spent lots of money getting prayer up, so I am going to use it.

Where would you be in life without Runescape?
Goodness... If I had spent all the time I have spent on Runescape over the past 7 years on something else, I could probably be fluent in several languages. As for grades and a social life, I do really well in school, and I have real friends that I do things with. It's all about priorities. I wouldn't be as happy though.

Tip.it Times Presents: A Time of War
The game is totally out of whack skill-wise. With the new influx of players since the killing off of PKing 9 months ago, the amount of skillers has decreased dramatically because they are not profitable. All of this has driven the economy completely out of whack, and I would predict that it will be even worse when these PvP worlds are realeased because there will not be enough skillers to meet the demand of the PKers. Inflation will be crazy, and the few skillers who are left and the merchants will make millions, and then people will scream "PRICE MANIPULATIONS!! JAGEX STOP PL0X!" all over the forums. It's going to suck all over again, but hopefully it will get better faster.

Jagex Attempting to Stop Monopolies?
Jagex has, and always will hate merchants and rares. Personally, I hate the new update, because it makes the economy more socialist rather than capitalist.

Made My First Million :) How did you make yours?
I made my first million mining iron. I made 10 million merchanting iron ore. Then I got sick of it all.

Skill capes being F2P. Give it a read =D
Anyone who has played a F2P and P2P character knows that it is much harder to level with a F2P character. Training grounds are more crowded, and there are less of them. The P2P area is about 4 times bigger than the F2P area and contains the most useful places for training. That means it is harder to level in F2P, and thus, in my opinion, more of an achievement because it takes more work and more time. Also, being 100% F2P is an achievement. It takes much more work. Doing something the hard way, rather than paying and doing it the easy way, is an achievement to most people. An analogy can be drawn with skilling. If you want 99 fletching and so you go an cut 80,000 yews, make 80,000 bowstrings and then string them all, that is more of an accomplishment than buying all the raw materials and then making them. I would argue that the amount of time and effort put into a task, despite how you limit yourself, determines the magnitude of the achievement. Therefore being 100% F2P and having 99s is more of an achievement than doing so on P2P. However, I do think that skill capes should remain members only. They're an incentive to pay and Jagex is a business. Besides, anyone with a 99 in F2P is probably never going to become a member anyways, so there is no reason to give it to them in Jagex's eyes.

Noobs say the funniest things!
This was a conversation I observed several years ago at Rock Crabs, but it made me laugh so hard. Level 75: n00b! Go away. Level 37: There are plenty of crabs here. I'm a range pure. Level 75: You're a n00b pure, n00blet. Quit stealing my kills. Level 37: Dude, my main is level 125 and could probably one hit you. I'm not a noob. Level 75: Shut up lying n00b! Get a life fr00blet! -level 37 logs out and two minutes later, a level 125 walks up- Level 125: Hi there Level 75. Remember me? -level 75 logs-

Tip.It Times Presents: Grand Exchange - Help or Hindrance?
While the Grand Exchange has been a great help in many ways, it has also been a huge hindrance. It has killed the rare market, and the price margin is a pain and rather unnecessary in the GE, but that is a different debate. Yes, while it is still possible to merchant large ticket items, I used to love merchanting coal, iron ore, and pure essence, and the GE has killed that off, unless you buy and hope the price goes up. However, that is not merchanting, that is gambling. Anyways, while I do think that the GE is really useful, I miss the old style of trading, and the personal interaction with other players.
