  1. Is the Universe melting? No, maybe my temporal lobe is fried. I can't tell the difference between present and past, past or present. Where is Time running? As I am born, I die--
  2. Agnostics and skeptics are also too sure of themselves, in my opinion. Agnostics are too sure of their stance? Their stance is that they can't know. So they're too sure of not knowing? What the deuce.
  3. Genesis claims to tell how the Universe was created. The Big Bang describes why the Universe is as it is (expanding, seemingly from one point, etc.). I don't get why the two are being compared. One deals with creation and the other deals with the prime instance in the chain of actions resulting in our Current Universe. No scientist claims to know how the Universe was created or how it came to be. Just why it behaves as it does and why it is how it is.
  4. No. Rebuilding a face on the internet is useless unless you have a reason to start over.
  5. Being Topic Creator does not make you lord and master of all you see before you. You cannot send members out to exile simply because you do not like them. You are not a God, this is not your realm. You just set the parameters. So, Octopi: The most they could do is gather in organic swells and bite us to nothing. Unless they have come up with new technologies--something we must consider. But just them without machines could be dealt with swiftly: a sentient race invading our land is an act of war. World governments would bomb them to hell, shoot them, spear them, burn them. It would be another battlefront, and us civilians would be expected to do as we always do: try and stay safe and let the soldiers do their jobs. If they happen to invade your home, a swift kick to the mantle would injure internal organs and even crush the brain. They are not adapted to impulse and impact, so keep hitting until they are idle mush.
  6. I wonder what Hextriplet did to garner such... is it hate? Well, lets go with that: I wonder what Hextriplet did to garner such hate.
  7. Start a Fight Club. Just kidding. When space-flight becomes cheap and easy though, we'll all be potential explorers again. New colonization companies, more Jamestowns and Plymouths out on moons and planets, an infinity to explore. Will be good.
  8. 1. I want your powers, Genie. 2. I want none of your vices. 3. I wish for you to be free.
  9. Ah man, its so much more fun to listen for guesses. But if you don't want to play games (aw) : [hide=End game] My genetic heritage is in Bangladesh, the east-most country in the Indian Sub-continent. Though I do not carry the spirit of any one country, that is the land with which I share most blood. In the second picture I'm climbing some 'Deshi trees, while on vacation.[/hide] My first guess was Sri-Lankan. Eh' So, are you in Bangladesh as you typed that ? Or just went there for holiday ? Yeah, wongtong, you look like you're 12. Nope. Living in Kuwait right now. Hopefully will be in Boston by this time next year, or maybe New York: College, right?

    Today...

Restless over SATs tomorrow. And instead of prepping, what do I decide to do? Play Ninja Gaiden.
  11. Oh, man. Yeah, I ignored those outside sources. Apparently proton streams from the sun can also have an effect that creates water.
  12. Great. Now we can prove the Moon's true origins: Is it really a chunk of the Earth blasted off by a collision by another wandering planetoid? Or is it completely alien? Truth costs millions.

    Suicide

You speak truth. About me and my malformed teenage thoughts, at least. But I still believe that some are out there with enough scientific/theological zeal to off themselves to find an answer to death.

    Suicide

Hmm. I've thought of killing myself before, but only at the end of a long string of thought about a possible Afterlife. I needed to solve the puzzle, and really, the only way to do so was through death. The need for some answer was an itch that desperately needed to be scratched. Idea shot down because: a.) I have friends and family who might miss me, and b.) There are Universal secrets that need to be solved in the living world. These fragments of thought of course came from the several rationalizations one makes to oneself on the brink of death-- self-preservation kicks in and the mind is flooded with excuses. There can be several motives, you see. I suffered from curiosity, not depression.
  15. Pretty sure I commented on this after you wrote it. What the hell? Anyway-- wanted to say that this was great. Writing style fit the subject perfectly. Good job, man.

    Today...

Just got an e-mail back from an Educational Counselor. Shall soon set up interview-times for MIT. Have to start college essays soon, too.
  17. It should be asked: Do we prefer the sun while gold, or when its face is silver? White lines of ice inviolate, or heated, running rivers? Does warmth and orange joy compel us, or is it azure isolation? Or is it that we wish to see our world preserved, away from Summer's degradation-- You ask me my choice? Between crystal earth and greening trees? I must tell you, I can't decide: For both inspire poetry. Oh man. Talk of seasons always makes me feel like writing.

  19. Anthropomorphic fighter-jets. Just kidding. How about your average Angel or Demon?

  21. Nah. Look at us, we're communicating on a global scale with people from all across the world. That's super-extroversion, in a way. Or, it should at least translate as such. In theory.
  22. Aha. Now to provide a quote of a quote, in which such pictures lie. [hide=For Index] [/hide] A and B, respectively--thanks.
  23. Do you have to expressly ask to be added to the index? And which pictures, etc?
  24. >Willingly become Vampire >Get with Kate Beckinsale >Completely disregard survival schemes.
