Being human, sometimes I catch myself begging for something to aid me. Then I stop myself, and remind myself that success isn't worth anything if I get help--divine or otherwise. And then I get down to whatever I have to do. And stand secure in the knowledge that my victories and failures are to my credit alone.

I'd like the type of girl who'd slap me for regimenting the type of girl I'd like.

I have basic martial training in Tae Kwon Do and Karate, and have practiced strikes extensively, but I don't follow the martial forms. I like the more relaxed Krav Maga stance a lot more. If the opponent is stupid enough to make their torso vulnerable, just go with a powerful side-kick to wind them. But I agree: the best technique is not to fight at all. Unless its just for fun with friends.

You're being guided through blackness, and sat down on an awkward chair. The toes of your feet bend upwards and the weight of your body rests on your muscles--acid burns at your nerves as you struggle to remain upright. Your consciousness and choice is given by a series of chemical responses to internal and external stimuli. And on the quantum level, there is uncertainty of particle and wave behavior.
