When I grinded it down, it tasted like the 4-year old cellotape we use to keep the two broken halves of glass taped together. Texture was like sand (friend later told me, "Duh, it's made out of sand.") But I just swallowed the rest whole.. so not really much of a taste. The boredom... completely eradicated by the responses on this forum. :]

Trivium - Dying in your arms

I'm still alive, and it was only a little piece of glass, approx 1cm. I was going to eat a bigger chunk that was sharper, but thought, "Wow. This might hurt me." Well, first I started grinding down the piece of glass with my teeth. And then I got bored(er) and just swallowed the thing.

-_- I was serious about eating glass. the funny thing is that I wasn't being sarcastic about the doctor comment. I am that cheap :/
