While I was doing my homework, my mum walked into the room and asked me if I knew anyone called "nick...ata" (she meant Nikita). I said no and asked why. She told me to wait while she fetched something. She returned with a postcard with a love heart and writing underneath stating "Kia Ora" on one side. On the other side it stated: I'm so confused.
  2. Well yeah, but do they prefer it if people are egotastic or do they prefer it if the writer is modest? CVs' dont have a "tone" actually. They're just - "what I've done so far" and "what I intend to do in the future". Nothing more than a list, with where you've worked, for how long, and yeah. I thought that sometimes you're required to send in a letter along with your CV? Here's an excerpt from my friend's 'cover letter', which my friend asked me to proofread. I thought it was kinda egotastic. (not completely)

It feels weird really. It's been so long since I've felt my teeth lol. Had a piece of gum for the first time in a VERY long time today . I have a back tooth missing, so when I had braces, they had to put a spring there, so whenever I tried chewing gum, it would just get wrapped up around it. Feels good to not have them though. Does it make you feel beautiful? :D And why did you have them on for so long?! That's crazy.

Why did you inhale it...? I wanted to know what it smelt like, I couldn't smell it properly so I inhaled it even more. Yeah. I think it just irritated my nose a bit because my 'nose is a noob'. TODAY I AM GOING TO SCHOOL YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE SCHOOL !

I wasn't paying attention Chemistry today, and when a teacher passed around a container full of this weird powder, I inhaled it. My first thought was "Ew, this smells funny..". Then I looked at the warning label on the container, it read, "WARNING! HARMFUL WHEN SWALLOWED OR INHALED!" At the same moment as I thought, "Oshi", blood started to pour out of my nose. Was pretty awesome.

I'm not sure what the purpose of keeping a dream diary is.. I just started keeping one because I thought my dreams were interesting and bizaare. I do know that it's to help your dream recall - I guess if you do manage to dream lucidly, you want to be able to remember it? The reality check method is where you constantly check to see if you're awake, even if you KNOW you're awake. For example, I went through a phase where I would count my fingers a few times during the day. Once you get into the habit of this, you'll end up dreaming about yourself wanting to do the reality check out of habit. This happened to me, and I tried to count my fingers in my dream. But my fingers went all funny and I realised I was dreaming and so then I was able to lucid dream properly.

No, but I realise I have very disturbing dreams, and that my dreams really do reflect my surroundings and the people I'm close with at the time. e.g I kept dreaming about this one person when I was close to them, now I never see them and I don't have any dreams about them.

I'll say. took me four months just to have sex with my ex, and that was when I was still a virgin. ...Still haven't had sex since. (minus the fling in December with an old friend.) Why are you telling us ... ? Because being a virgin is really cool. My mother is quite irritating sometimes.. She spent the whole day complaining about my sister not calling her. My sister called and then my mum was upset because she didn't say the phrase "Happy mother's day". I didn't either, and she kept basically threw a tantrum.
  13. I would say 16 or 17.. but I'm probably really wrong.
  14. This girl sits next to me in Biology. TURBANTURBANTURBAN Nothing really annoys the hell out of me at this moment in time. Except maybe...rude people, I have to tolerate a lot of them.

I've been keeping my dream journal for about 2 years, I dunno if 4 days would really improve your dream recall that much. Dutch, don't do it again if you find it too scary. There are other methods to lucid dream which does NOT require sleep paralysis.. a few have been mentioned earlier in this thread - such as constantly having reality checks.

Man, Adrenal just pointed out to me that the video me and Dreamtongirl made a few months ago are appearing on random sites, such as this one: http://videos.canadaspace.com/videos/examples_of_ebonics/ I laughed so hard when I stumbled on that one for some reason.

My band name is cooler - "Some Guy With A Beard" (So when people introduce songs created by my imaginary band they will introduce it like this: "Next up is a song called 'The Floor is Made of Lava' written by 'Some Guy With A Beard'.") .. Yeahhhhhh. B) Edit: It's meant to be "Some guy with a beard" oops. *subtle editing*
  19. Oh okay, I dunno if I can get my hands on some plastic..perhaps I shall try wax? XD How exactly would I go about creating the dripping part though? Would I just spread some plastic/wax on top of the bust, and then shove it into an oven and watch it melt?

Does anyone else feel lonely even though they have plenty of friends?
  21. Does anyone know how to recreate this sculpture? I mean the 'dripping' part, not the bust. So let's say I've created the bust, then what do I do to create the drippy effect? Supposedly it was created with plastic (said on the artist's page). Do you think it's possible to do this with .. paint and.. glue? Or something else other than plastic?

Currently listening to http://www.endlessyo...h?v=HMnrl0tmd3k and http://www.rainymood.com/ - So peaceful. I'm also doing some Biology homework and feeling nostalgic. My friend mentioned Dunk-a-roos.. whatever happened to those? I can actually still taste the chocolate and biscuit right now. *sigh* Edit: Try this: Make a fist with your left hand, squeeze your left thumb, then put your right index finger down your throat. NO GAG REFLEX. It worked for me.
  23. They suck at giving cc.. not that I'm going to be any better with this post. I only really like the 2nd and 3rd one.
  24. The Twilight movie is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I basically kept facepalming and laughing throughout the whole movie.
