Building your own most often works out to be more pricey. If you want a completely customized computer and the pride of having done it yourself, then that's the way to go, but buying a pre-built computer is more economical (even with some really good hardware in it). I'm sure some would provide exceptions to the rule, but that's my take on it.

Thanks for your suggestion, skulblaka008. We understand how this might cause an inconvenience if you are not hitting any damage. However, most players will hit some damage on the monster they are fighting. The calculator averages the damage to be as realistic an estimate as possible. A good portion of players' exp is gained by dealing that damage, so omitting it from the calculator would be less helpful to most players. Thanks again for your suggestion. The color coding on the planner is based on your current level; so, if you gain a new ability it will not be reflected. It will determine if your current level is capable of performing it and color-code it accordingly before you perform the calculation. Thank you for the submission! And welcome to Tip.it. :) The Hitpoints estimator's true purpose is for players to estimate what their Hitpoint level would be if they reached certain levels in other combat stats. For example, if you were curious what your approximate HP level would be if you had all 90 combat stats, you could enter 90 for all your stats and then the calculator would estimate what your Hitpoint level may be with those stats. But if you're wanting an exact combat level, it's best to let the calculator pull that from the hiscores list. I hope this helps. :thumbsup:

The individual bloodvelds/mutated bloodvelds and their specific combat levels were put into the calculator. As for the other 3 monsters, there's multiple combats levels that are aggressive, so it would be difficult to predict experience gained by these. Please feel free to PM me with any further questions. Aurhora, thank you very much for confirming this. I have adjusted this on the calculator to where you cannot select a familiar while on the Penance horn list. The calculation should be accurate now. I have seen this and I thought it was backwards for a minute too. But, if you are using Internet Explorer, you need to click "Tip Me" for it to update the values that it displays. Without clicking the "Tip Me" button, it will not recalculate until you've clicked elsewhere and that's why it appears to be backwards. Try clicking the button and let me know if it's still backwards for you. :)

Thanks for this submission. Fire giants drop both a Fire giant bone and a Shoulder bone. The Fire giant bone is for the Rag and Bone man quest and the Shoulder bone is obtainable from any giant or cyclops during Fur 'n' Seek. I have added the Shoulder bone to the database and credited you. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. :)

I'm not too sure what the situation is. I'm pretty sure you can post on the forums since the update where Jagex allows "qualifying" non-members to post. I think you have access to the forums as long as your total XP is at least 25m. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can post on the forums now.

Thank you, Sinkhan. The Void Knight is supposed to grant 10% more damage when wearing the armour, but from experience and reports, this number is closer to 20%. I have adjusted the calc to reflect this.
